haha, yup! I usually just ignore my second and third pets with these kind of books so it is no bog deal if I get any or not.

I didn't get the pauldron, Carved Jade Chelon Trinket, the beanbags and stickers.

I decided a while back to stop with the "special" beanbags since my achievements are topped up and I'll never get the complete collection.

As for stickers, since they started out as only being able to be added by others, I decided not to be interested in them. Only ever added to my collection for achievements. Now that we can self-stick, well, I've already sold or given away so many that my lack of interest simply continues.

enjoy the books. I'm not looking for payment, but you can always send a sub invite my way if you feel you have to give me something in return :). I really have no use for the points myself, so they would likely just sit there for ages not being used up.

Now that we don't have to boost intel right to the 15th point then read a book to get backlogged AP books aren't a priority like they were for me either. Even with a calculator I can not count the times I got the number wrong and had to buy boosters or scrounge for books before. That's the one change I like LOL!

To me T13 isnt important either, even when they come up with a T13 weapon they'll make it so its only effective against a handful of opponents and priced in the billion point range like mentioned earlier. The constant and hefty sP sink battlers who want top weapons get sucked into has gotten a little old.

My main pet just hit tier 12 during the event. I only noticed because I suddenly got a bunch of achievements when I was looking at her stats deciding where to put her battle exp.

congrats on T12! It is still a big deal! Now keep going and next time we have a big boss battle you will be up there with the rest of our team! Well, and if your hand cooperates. :( That hand needs to get better!

I still haven't even noticed a change with the books. Maybe because sweety has read so many it is rare there is something I get for him, idk. I feel like he was never given AP for a couple of times he should have been but whatever.

Poor Acajou takes so long to train at this point she rarely gets more than 1 session a day. Of course, I think its now time to start training her differently. After 9 years of just clicking through the stats its going to be tough to remember what to train and what not to. Not to mention deciding on how I should be training her. Sigh, I'm not good with battle and there are so many niggling things to figure out. I think I should stop speed now and put more in health, but not sure what to do with strength and defense.

long training time? YES. Sweety takes 1020 minutes, which is 17 hours. I can't answer questions about what is best to train, wish I understood it all but frankly, I am not willing to take the time to learn it! haha I want it all to just come naturally to me but I am not built that way.

I do know there are a few weapons that work better with more speed. Not sure which ones though. It seems to me that the people who do best in boss battles have high HP. BUt IDK for sure. I know during this last battle Eric was doing more average damage that I was even though my pet is ranked higher. That could be weapons or....something else. SO HELPFUL!

I am training sweety only in health now though with random events and oracle quests he sometimes gets other stats. Just yesterday I decided to train my second pet only in health. Level of course for both of them. Anyway, I am probably at some point going to have to start reading to my second pet in earnest or all the training will not be worth it. :/ She did just read about too much salt! She thought it very interesting.

I've played table top role playing for years and its a pretty intense combat system, with all sorts of rules and tables etc. But compared to Subeta battle, it makes so much more sense. In my RPG each weapon does different damage sure, but its not arbitrary - eg, a little dagger does less damage than a 2-handed sword! And while skillful application (ie stats and training) does make a difference, anyone can use any weapon, you don't have to be a certain level to use it, you just won't wield it as effectively. And the stats make sense too, if you have high speed (and luck) you get to play before your opponent. Bows count agility more than strength, whereas swords count strength more than agility. That just scratches the surface of what goes on, its a very complex system, but its understandable, its logical and I get it. I can build a character who specializes in stealth attacks, ranged attacks, or face-to-face sheer force and combat. Or even a mage who doesn't use weapons at all. They will each have their pros and cons, be better in some situations than others, but they will be successful.

Subeta's system on the other hand, is very arbitrary, not logical, and far, far from transparent. Everything happens behind the scenes and you (or at least I) can't work out the best approach. I can't specialize, because if I try I will be able to beat a certain opponent, but then I'll be helpless against the rest of them. So I have to guess and try my best to create a character who will be mediocre against all.

I really hate the tier system. The one good thing about it, however, is how they used it in this event, where the doll (?) thing went to the top damage done by tier. THAT was a great use of the tier system. But otherwise...pretty much sucks.

I straight abhor how things are now battling. I've got several "godly" heavy hitters and can block 100 of every defense icon making my kit complete, I should be in 7th heaven. But nothing makes sense to me anymore. Like Lypsyl said, the ONLY good thing Ive seen come from this tier crap is the last war.

First they decided reflecting damage back was a bad thing and took that out. From there it seemed to me that the powers that be decided they wanted things to suit them, made changes that totally screwed things up for the rest of us and left them that way when they moved on. One confusing change on top of another.

During the war I used the keep 'er on ice strategy used two weapons that did 44 icons each. That should have given me a constant amount of damage every round but it went from 1600 to 3300. How can that happen!? Blech.

Anywho.. the reason Im saying all this that Im positive Ive said before is because y'all caught me working on my next project(s). My first one was to give my booster list a total makeover. IF yall decide to use boosters, it should be like 1000x more useful.

I like it. Thanks to spoilers I can list them by stat as well as where they come from and maintain the list myself.

Next is to try and help figure out what's what with the scaling weapons and tier weapons and get the correct info into the weapon notes. For the majority of weapons people actually use, they increase with this or that and the lodge shows the weapon hover, not the important stuff. I'm going to ask the battle group which ones they've found that have changed or need updating in a bit, if anyone knows how to pitch a fit about something being wrong, they do.
