oh, it is so frustrating when they don't have any answers. :/ Is he going to do any tests or anything useful to figure things out?

I watched Days for sooo long. I was really into it. And Another World back when it was on the air. The strangest part of seeing it today was that NO ONE looks any older! I mean, it has been 15 years! I look older! Why don't they? No fair~!

- I've already had blood work and other tests. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is, and I'm working around my doctors to solve it. The first step was changing my meds, and I was able to accomplish that easily. The next step is to see if the change in meds will fix it, I can't tell for sure yet, I think I'm doing a little better, but that could be wishful thinking. The problem took years to develop, so I fully expect it to take months before I can tell for sure if its improving. If the meds don't cut it, I have one more option, but its a treatment I've been avoiding for years and most of the reasons I've been avoiding it are still valid. For now, I'm just hoping the change in drugs will do it.

LOL as for the soap, well that's the result of thousands of dollars of plastic surgery, makeup and other things involving money and pain and time I wouldn't want to spend. I'll take looking old and wrinkled over that any day! I've earned every one of my wrinkles.

oh man, I feel for you. Trying to get meds straightened out is challenging. Especially when your doctor doesn't believe the side effects you are experiencing are caused by the meds. I hope it all gets sorted out and you start feeling better sooner rather than later. :/

Oh, right! I forgot they had botox and face docs! No, thanks I will pass on that stuff! I used to deny my age and fib about it etc. Then when I turned 50 I thought...that is stupid! I earned every one of those years and I am claiming them!

Most of the time I'm pretty open about my age, but I tend not to get specific on this site since there's such a huge population of young ones here.

congrats on the ticket! I loved him too, but, no, I would never want him as a doc. And I would never want to have anything mysterious enough for him to be interested in! However, have you ever listened to any of his music? I love it!

No I haven't. I have watched some of the older BBC stuff, like Jeeves and Wooster and Blackadder. But I didn't even know he was musician.

I am a huge Hugh fan! You DOn't Know my Mind He is not for everyone and I don't like a lot of blues but I love him, lol.

Hmm...not to my taste at all. But then, I'm a philistine when it comes to music. I have a tin ear and about the only time I listen to music is in the car, and then its typically middle of the road older pop.

My! Someone was up early today! His music is definitely not for everyone. And using his name has not given me a ticket yet! Nor even talking about him. Maybe we need to talk about someone whose music you like and the magic will swing my way a bit!

I woke up at 4am and was unable to go back to sleep. But a few hours later I went for a "nap" - or maybe to finish sleeping for the night, not sure which :P.

My music likes have more to do with who was popular at the right time in my life than my own taste (since I have none!).

yup, I know what you mean. They were all popular during my teen years but I think it is just because they are so great! Of course, when I was young I couldn't imagine there would ever be any genre of music that I didn't like. boy was I wrong! Rap? hip hop? ick!

LOL yeah I can suddenly sympathize with the "old fogies" who demeaned the stuff I loved by calling it "noise!" It's like my own musical tastes froze in time.

Music? Classic rock has always been my favourite but I listen to almost everything. Except old country. Im not a "fan" of new country either but the kids like it so I tolerate it.

Oh I always hated country...sooooo depressing! Because of my tin ear, lyrics have always been more significant to me than tunes, and country with everyone dying and/or leaving just seemed pointless to me.

Yes, I have never been a fan of country music.

IDK if you are commenting on my liking of Hugh Laurie's music or if you are just trying to get another ticket, lol. Honestly, I probably wouldn't like his music nearly as much, if at all, if it weren't him singing/playing it.
