I haven't met her near often enough.

Honey chicken for dinner tonight. Chicken, cubed turnip and carrots all baked in a honey sauce, with salad and rice.

that all sounds pretty yummy except for the turnips! But then again, it has been decades since I gave them a shot so what do I know?

She doesn't visit me very often either. Never saw her once when they "turned it up" for her day back whenever that was. Congrats on your second ticket of the day!

Turnips can turn out pretty bitter at times, that's why cooking them in a honey sauce works so well. However, the original recipe asked for potatoes rather than turnip, I just like turnip way more than potatoes. I would suppose any tuber you like would work well.

you do have odd tastes, don't you? lol I love potatoes! I think most people do...

LOL I know. I don't actively dislike them, but I do get tired of them very, very quickly. Don't want to eat them more than a couple of times a week. If I go a few weeks without eating them, I'm quite happy!

I got a visit from sebastian today too. I don't think his visits are totally random, they seem to be grouped. I won't hear from him for months, then suddenly he seems to be all over the place.

I gotta go...I've lost track of time and I'm late!

I have noticed the same thing about sebastian. Feast or famine with him. I prefer the famine.

Potatoes several times a week? I have forgotten what that is like but I think maybe I could get used to it again! There are so many ways to make them!

We had chicken fajitas last night.. The boys cooked them since I finished work late.. Another late shift today so think it will be lamb and rosemary sausages and vegetables tonight..

Hey guys! Dinner was good tonight, I made steamed green beans, potatoes and tossed a hotdog in. I love how steamed food tastes!

When I get back on the puter I'll check out that thread . Like I didn't know there was actual talk about the cap lol. Right now Im watching nightmare before Christmas my Bugs favorite movie. Just got done talking to her and Bryce. ❤

My steamer is my best friend, lol. I love it, and even with a hotdog that's not the healthiest choice in the world it was really good xD

I know most hotdogs are kind of crappity but there are some brands that are actually pretty decent. I usually try to buy kosher ones when I want to indulge in a hot dog. They are a bit more expensive but they are a lot cleaner than most of them out there.

In a steamer, even the cheapest of them aren't half bad, lol
