I thought I told you at least. And quit double posting! :P I have 20mins to get ready for work... I love going to work early and getting off early. I don't love getting up early. :P

I've never tried steaming hotdogs.. Will have to give it a go one weekend, we tend to have them every few weekends.. I always steam our vegetables.. :)

Love Nightmare before Christmas, it was what I chose to make a Christmas Eve tradition when they boys got older than The Night before Christmas..

I prefer an early start and finishing early too.. Tomorrow is one of my early start days, then I have Sunday off..

Yeah, I'm a real hermit and tend to neglect my friends, so its great to have an actual event set up at a specific day and time. I enjoy meeting with friends, but due to my extreme hermitness, I have a terrible tendency to say no when invited out at the last minute. Having something pre-set means that I actually get out and do it.

Oh the doc thing is potentially good, depends on the doc. I don't have much trust in doctors. LOL they don't much care for me either because I never take them at their word. I ask questions, I ask for clarification when I don't understand something and I try not to let them get away with spouting "everyone knows" nonsense.

I got an Epicon shop item from her the other day. I also passed on some names of active users.

Yay! I got 3 of 4 of the new achievements without having to do anything. Now I need to check how many spice jars I have. Oh poor pet, I abuse her terribly all those spices one after the other! But at least I got that last achievement!

I completely understand the hermit issue. For me it seems the more I am alone the more I want to be alone. It is hard to make myself go out and do things sometimes.

Gah, doctors tend to think we should treat them like gods. Never ask a question! Do what I tell you because I tell you! Do not look up any information on your own! Do not educate yourself! It must be a special course they all have to take. lol

Yeah I know...and right now in several doctor's offices they have these special TVs in the waiting room. You know the "health facts" and take this supplement or that one and so forth. Well I keep seeing these PSAs that say "ask questions!" "don't be afraid to speak up" and so on and so forth. Yet when you do, the docs look at you askance, like "why are you wasting my time? Just shut and do as I say!"

At least my GP is well trained. He actually tries to answer my questions, tells me when he doesn't know something, believes that patients have the right to not take a doctor's advice - i.e. my body, my health, my choice. I'm actually kinda spoiled by him, because the contrast to other doctors just makes it all the more painful.

I have seen those things in waiting rooms. In Florida it seemed like they were more interested in trying to sell you something rather than give useful information. Sounds like you need to stick with that GP. He is a rare breed!

I was thinking the same thing with the Lady, poor thing having to eat curry then cilantro and the rest of the herbs for the achievement then it dawned on me that since she's a reborn pet, she might not mind too terribly much. As long as they dont give her gas or something.

I'm not sure, I think she said on her profile that she was inactive, like she quit playing much long time ago and wanted to give away things to active players. I was just waking up and cant remember.

Yeah, I think they are sponsored by drug agencies and the doctors get them cheaply as long as they display the right ads.

Oh I plan on keeping my GP as long as possible. The good ones often don't stick around through. He's relatively young, and but has young children also, so i'm hopeful that's he'll want to stay put for at least the next 10 yrs or so.

haha, they need to make the first aid items able to be used on pets. Though that might be getting too much like neo where your pets really do get sick.

LOL...then don't feed her the fart jar! My gourmand pet is bloodred, so I don't think she cares much for spices. But all the gross zombie food? That I think she appreciates :)

I have to drag myself off to the laundromat soon. And stop at walmart which is much more enjoyable than doing laundry. I really miss being able to just throw in a load whenever I want. BUT it is worth it to not be so freaking miserable with him anymore. I will probably be cruising for tickets while the laundry is spinning. TTLY

Ugh, I remember the days of going out to do laundry...I'd hate to have to start doing that again. Have fun at Walmart.

Well I'm back from the doc. No resolution of the problem I went for, but at least nothing new, or worse, than I was expecting, so overall okay.

years and years and years ago I was babysitting one of my cousins for the summer and he used to take an afternoon nap right at the time of one of those soaps, so of course, I got pulled into it. When I went back to school, if I ran back home from last class I could catch the final half hour. I kept that up for months until I finally realized it was just stupid. Years later on a sick day from work, I channel surfed into the old show and recognized everything - it was scary how little had changed.
