I&;d rather buy all the items I want for 15 mil than buy half the items I want for 50k and be unable to find the other half of the items I want for under 50mil.

Oh man this sooooo much. That has been my biggest pain re: holiday items since I started the site. I have half a dozen of each of the cheap ones and pages of the unobtainable ones on my WL. I'm glad I can finally get some of those suckers XD

-slowly looks at old Morostide costumes and + sitting on wishlist- Yeeah... ._.

I don't mind high prices as much, considering there aren't many new items, especially if they stay available for a fair number of years before retiring. However, I have to say I hate that we get a timer on top of shop rotation. I get that it's meant to keep us active everyday, but it's... annoying :c Very annoying I'd say, it's totally not fun to buy things from my phone when it's 928749x more likely to glitch and double-buy or misclick.

Alegarten is a small event happening right before a HUGE one, but if it's possible at all, it would be nice to include different aspects of it, so shopping on the brewery wouldn't be the only thing. Like... idk. Right now I can only come up with real lame suggestions like 'give beer to friends/user above' (how can those girls carry so many cups?!) or some sort of game where users have to drink as much beer as they can in a short period of time xD

Also I'd love to see more stickers because stickers are cute 8D CAKE STICKERSS. Do we have a sticker with Gunther's face? Rosemary? (Does she enjoy the event? xD) And Veta-themed minions! :3

I agree this is extremely expensive, especially when you are a newbie...

BUT on the other hand, all the prices are reasonable when you compare it with the holiday shop "super rare" items...

Maybe they are expensive but it's not not doable. It's not hard to earn SP and like other have mentioned, you can choose which events to participate in. Not having to restock items is nice.

I get it, sP sink, yeah cool. Except that we just had a big sP sink and it's always geared towards the same people. It's still annoying and people are allowed to complain. Great ways to make new users want to stay. Make everything expensive.

I don't get this logic at all.

Have you ever beat a video game? If so, how often do you go back and replay it?

This is sort of the same thing. By making events and features somewhat challenging, yet still doable, it DOES make (at least some) newer players want to stick around and participate in the event the next year... If everything was so cheap that even a newbie could buy everything, how utterly boring that would be for players that have been around for literally a decade, and have literally millions if not billions of SP sitting around waiting to be spent.

The average user has 11,753,151 sP
Based on that stat alone, I think the playerbase should go into most events expecting to spend a goodsized chunk of sp IF they expect to get one of every item.

people shouldn't inherently get all items released for super cheap, makes everything worthless in the end. if you're worried about not getting everything, you're spreading yourself too thin. focus on a few things for now...

Yes, many times. If I find a game enjoyable, why should I throw it out the moment I've finished ? I will, 100%, go back and play it again (in some cases, a few dozen times over). And this isn't a game you can "win." Have you ever played a game that you felt was too annoying and difficult that gave you an instant headache ? How fun was it ?

The users with billions won't spend. That's how they get billions. No amount of sinks or new items will be changing that. A large chunk of users that I know who have millions saved up have them because they are working on an expensive item. The items staff put the prices on. To turn around, once users try to save up for it, and say they have too many points. I understand making things difficult in some respect, making things more interesting, etc, etc, but we both know this site doesn't understand the concept of balance.

Also, that price includes those that have billions of points that never really spend much of anything. Or am I thinking of a previous price ?

How quickly do you go back to play it? The next day? Do you reset the game and start from scratch or do you continue from where you left off?

Is that what you are saying Subeta is? Too annoying and difficult to be enjoyable? If so... I am sure you can guess what my next question will be.

I don't have the patience to run through this whole thread, but the prices are what they are and it's totally doable. There's no need to obtain every single item, and having a bit of a challenge is what makes things fun c:

Depends on the game. I had two of one game before a copy was stolen from me, one I would reset at random times, the other I'd keep where it was and go back to it. As for how quickly, depended on time of life/time I had.

At times, yes. As pretty much every user can say, at times this site gets to be a bit overbearing.

I do agree with you that Subeta seems to struggle with balance... particularly how events always seem to be geared toward avatar makers spending tons

On the otherhand, I also see how the end goal of Subeta staff is to get users to log on daily, stay on as long as possible, and support the site with their real life money. And I think the end goal is why we see the events as being more and more difficult to fully participate without going broke.

Personally, I just need a couple booze items which I should be able to get tonight. Meaning for me, there is very little incentive to log on and play this weekend, even with an event going on. Clearly, that means that at least for one segment of the playerbase (veteran players that have put in a lot of time/money over the last decade) there could have been a better job done in terms of ensuring users come back daily to participate.

What bothers me is not so much the prices, but that everything is the SAME price. What happened to having items under 10K because some were meant to be available to everyone and more affordable? Look at the other items.

Look at the Alegarten Bows for example. There's 9 in all, 7 under 10K, 1 between 10-100K, and 1 over 100K.

With the Sausage Plushies, again, you've got 9. 4 under 10K, 4 between 10-100K, and 1 over 100K.

But looking at the Vetan braids, every single one is 250K. That's 1.250 million if you want them all. I don't remember last year's items doing this, but it looks like they all are, but still, all 5 Doubletight Braids are 75K each.

I'll admit it, I flinched at the prices of some of the things in there. Then I remembered what a pain in the ass the holiday shop was and dealing with sellers. Then it isn't so bad. I'd much rather pay 250k now instead of fail at restocking the same item, searching for a seller and having to pay out the butt for it.

All of last years items had unified prices. The only reason the older stuff (that restocked in the Holiday Shop) has such diverse prices was to not totally screw over the people who paid a ton for super rares.

It honestly doesn't make sense to have prices all over the place, if a red color of the wig is 200k the black color shouldn't be 10k just so someone can afford it.

When that was said it was in reference to the entire shop. So yes, and recolors are 250k but a newer user can still grab which is significantly cheaper.

But what if new users want the wigs, and not the necklaces? That's still not fully right. I'm not saying everything has to be 10K, but 1.250 million for five wigs, or even 250K for one when you just want one color, you can't say that's not nuts. I don't know if it's to combat all the SP that was released during the anniversary, but it's still pretty extreme.
