I LOVED pet day yesterday! Geez. I must have adopted and abandoned a ton of pets. I didn't feel too bad about myself since I ended up keeping a couple and painted a bunch colors that had cheap elixirs to re-release.

I ended up with two new pets: a Nightmare pet with pretty good starter stats and a pet whose name I like ("wisdom seeker"). I'm considering painting Wisdom Seeker an Arid Tigrean, but I'm not sure how well the name goes. The Tigrean seems so powerful and strong, and 'wisdom' seems more cerebral than physical. I don't know. What do you guys think?

I've also decided to FINALLY paint a second pet Steamwork. I'm going to paint my old foster pet that I ended up keeping. Soon she will be a Malticorn Steamwork pet! Just waiting on the schematics to go on sale at 8 a.m. Subeta time.

I also have a Storm Potion that I think I'll finally use. I would really like your help, though! I think my favourite Storm pet (after the Popoko) is the new Harvester, but I already have a Nightmare Harvester. I suppose it makes more sense to paint him, but I like the Nightmare paint job, too. I have 7 pets right now and don't want many more. The other option, though, would be to create a new pet and have two Harvesters.

What do you guys think? Should I paint Malevolence A. Verted Storm, or create a new Storm pet and have two Harvesters? I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!!

EDIT: Wisdom Seeker is now an Arid Tigrean (check him out! he's a beaut!), my Steamwork Malticorn plans are being made as we speak, and I've decided to create a new Harvester to paint Storm. I just have to think of a good name!

hey guys. how is your questing going.

I did a bunch late last night and finished as many as I could this morning (Subeta midnight is 1 p.m. for me here in Korea). I finished ALMOST all of the regular quests, plus one battle quest. I guess I'll be battle questing today, since they're doubled again! I made 5 mil off Sag yesterday, and maybe 1-2 mil off him today. Not bad! My bank account really appreciated that, heh.

Thanks again for the battle advice! Looks like I'll be putting it to use sooner than I thought -- it's Battle Day!! And nice that I have more pets to battle with now. :)

How is battle day going for everyone?

Man I never got this ping! Or rather, I probably got it, but didn't notice it (too many sbq and ts restocks). ^^; I'm on tumblr constantly, but I still keep an LJ tab open and refresh it once or twice a day, just to check. Hell I still keep my Neo and JN tags open too, even though I only go to Neo once daily and JN like... once a week. I'm a creature of habit.

I managed to do Saggi, Pete and Quentin yesterday... and a few quests for Major Drills but he was irritating me so I stopped after like five. I probably won't manage that much today since I don't think I'll be on much, but I'll be here Sunday so I hope to get some good questing in then, maybe even some Battle quests. The doubled quests are pretty hard on my wrists though.

Hey, I've been meaning to ask you... do you watch EatYourKimchi on Youtube at all? We've been into them for a while... I knew next to nothing about Korean culture before we started watching them, but they're really enjoyable to watch and it's interesting to see the similarities between Kore and America, and even Korea and Japan (I have more of a knowledge about Japanese culture because, you know, anime).

Honestly I'm finding all the birthday things kind of overwhelming. Subeta is doing way more stuff than Neo did. I did get a lot of the color achievements on pet day, though... I didn't realize I had so many painted pets. XD And I snagged a Nightmare Potion from the ts... still need one more cake. Ooh, and I'll actually be able to beat the Manticore Fish, that'll be fun. I'm going to have to go back and read Walrus' battle advice... when I'm not rushing to work! runs off

- I'm such a tumblr addict. Marvel movies/comics is nomming my brain right now, so I'm reblogging everything in sight. I popped over to Neo today to put my pets back in the resort and realized that I seriously need to downsize. Anybody want a bn draik? I'm finding the birthday stuff overwhelming, too. SO MUCH TO DO.

Next move: Blessed Trident, Rainbow Vortex, Singed Stuffing, + another pylonic (like sanctifying or reverberating) or shard or whatever I have hanging around

Third move until battle ends: Blessed Trident, Chancellors War Shield, Still Pool, + pylonic/shard/etc

Congrats! You know it's funny, I think I got three Tempest events before the birthday event started (a Storm potion on the first one!), but since it's been going on? Bupkiss. And congrats on the crypt prize too! I suck at the crypts, I haven't gotten anything so far.

I've been blowing money on weapons today. Nanairo just hit tier 5 and since it's a Saggi weekend I figured, why not. I dunno if it's actually going any good, though. ._.

I blew so much money on weapons a couple of weeks ago with the battle event. Saving up for some nice weapons now. The 10 mil will definitely help out, and hopefully the storm potion will sell!

- Yeah...I need a shield. I have everything else but the shield, so I guess I need to get busy trying to find one. I don't think there are any of the shields you use for sale. I may have to go for something else.

Thanks for posting your moves! It's helpful to see it laid out like that. I just made a scroll, one of the ones on my wishlist. I'm so excited! I tried to make two others but some of the ingredients are worth millions. I threw them on my wishlist and will have to wait a while on those I guess.

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you... Yes! I love EatYourKimchi. They're really well-known here in Korea. In fact, I'm organizing events for NaNoWriMo this year and we're holding the kickoff party at their new cafe, You Are Here. I'm looking forward to checking it out! If they have EYK merch, I might just have to pick something up. :D

I like that they're Canadian like me, and they're a lot of fun. It would be a good way to learn about Korea, too! A lot of foreigners use their informational videos a lot. I think their Kpop review videos are more popular internationally.

Omg I wish I could go to their cafe! I want to try one of those Korean blackberry milkshakes or whatever they are (not to mention a lot of the other foods they showcase in the FapFap!). They've given me such a better appreciation of Korea and Korean culture (though that started after I read the book Honolulu)... until now I've only known about Japanese culture, it's really interesting to see the differences in their culture and music!

Yeah, I think the differences are really interesting too! I don't know that much about Japanese culture, actually, but I'd definitely be interested in learning more about the differences! I'll let you know how their cafe is when I go at the end of October!
