Congrats! That's great. As for a zombie - do it!! You'll get to keep the skin in your closet now after you've cured yourself. I'm going for my old zombie skin, Dolly Dreadful, since I miss having the skin. Hopefully we'll be able to change viruses during the event and maybe end up with two skins!

None of my votes won, unfortunately. :( I'm happy that we can change our infections and get a couple of zombie skins this year, though. That's awesome! I have Dolly Dreadful and now I'm working on Love Bug. What zombie skins are you guys getting?

None of my votes on the CW contest won, either. Sad...I really wanted that frilly dress.

I started out with Crack Head and am currently working on Boobitus! Maybe if I have time for one more I'll go for one of the bizarre new ones...

I'm really glad they opened the shop, too. Do you think it will be a year-long thing, or will it be available to only zombies (not just the skins) after the event? I dropped about 15 mil on all the old items I never had and a few copies of the books to read to my pet and to stash away. I'll be stashing away a lot of plushies too since it turned out I did have those. If the shop is zombie-only after the event, those will be worth a bit! And I might just go buy more... ;)

Oh! It's my birthday tomorrow. I'm excited. :D

I don't bother with the zombie thing, but man I have more hearts than I know what to do with. I'll probably get a bunch of books to put in Erik's brain, but other than that, Louis' items just don't interest me.

Only one of the items I voted for won, the background. But oh well, that means I can save my csc or hearts or whatever currency they cost.

FYI the 2009 item (the virus potion cure) is priced at 2.5 mil right now. Not sure if it's actually selling for that price, but I think people are buying them with hearts anyway since there's a glitch where if you don't change your VIP status right away after changing out of your zombie skin, you can get bitten and infected with the same virus again. I bought it yesterday for 200 candy hearts. Ouch!

I'm not sure what they'll do with the shop, now that anybody (who got infected) has the option of putting on a zombie skin whenever they want and going shopping. I'm wondering if we'll still be limited by the release year of our zombie skin (that's why I'm going for boobitus).

Ahhh, that makes a lot of sense. Yeah, if the skin grants us access (rather than not curing the infection; I guess that would be hard to do) that would be difficult to manage. Limiting it by year makes sense. I'm glad I got a 2009 skin just in case! I wanted to get my old doll skin back (I had that skin for two years!) but the Love Bug one is really cute too!

Someone commented on the recent news post they were upset the zombie den would be open year-round to non-zombies. I don't think Subeta staff said that, though. They said it would be open for non-zombies now during the event, right? I agree it would be more interesting if you still at least had to be wearing a skin, and if the items you could access depended on the year of that skin. That makes more sense story-wise and is just more interesting!

Keith commented in the news post on the face items: "Skitters will be selling year round to non zombies now"

Theres rumors of something going down with neopets their staff got fired or something so our site has an influx of new members today. Basically from what I've researched, Jumpstart (recently bought out neo from nickelodeon) laid off a lot of the TNT Staff and its unsure which direction they plan to go in. They may be getting rid of a lot of features and even the NC section but right now we just don't know what JS has in store.

FYI there may be a lot of Neopets survivors around the site today! :)
