Have to agree with the majority, i like the older art better, it appears more dainty to me.

I'm super late on this, but just in case the artist decides to read this board before she/he does the re-revamp:

Overall, this was a nice set, and I think that if the old items never existed, people would be all over these items. That being said, I bought a lot of the Rainyday pieces because I loved how delicate they were. With the Solar Flare set in particular, I adored the jewelry. The body wrap, the headset, the earrings, and the anklet wraps were some of my favorite items on the site because they were so dainty looking. Personally, I don't think that those 4 items needed a revamp and I wish that the new items had the same delicate look that the old ones had. As of now, I feel like they look too much like costume jewelry-very blunt and one-toned and thick, and that makes the items lose a lot of the charm that they had for me.

If you decide to re-do the revamp, I would love it if either the jewelry items could go back to the old art, or if there was a way to re-do them so that the dainty, delicate look is preserved. Also, like some other people have said, I preferred the old color scheme to the new one. The dark red/orange/gold colors were beautiful, and I personally feel like they look so much more elegant than the orange/bright yellow color scheme going on now. Otherwise, I'm actually a fan of the kimono. The old one was gorgeous, but this new one seems like it would be easier to work with in the wardrobe. I wish the wig would lose the super-bright colors, but otherwise, it's definitely an improvement to the old one.

Thank you for taking the time to remake these gorgeous pieces for us! I know that the comments about the revamp haven't been exactly positive, but I'm sure everyone on this site appreciates all of your hard work!

I was drawn to this thread by another one (Warador ornament) - with deleting all events and all, it might have been forgotten after all.

This is really, really bad.

The old stuff is much more delicate, flimsy and unobtrusive, the new jewelry esp. paired with the ugly yellow instead of gold is horrid.

Once again an issue of total change to beautiful art instead of a slight brush up here and there. Worse: It looks like a step back instead of an update!

I still hope this has not been totally forgotten. :(

Not the kimono!!! I loved the original, maybe it can be made into a transformable item? One version sleeves down, one version sleeves up :)

I seriously hope this set is fixed. This was the worst revamp in the history of revamps in my strong opinion. This set was one of my favorites of all time, and now its just... utter worthless to me. Some of the older members including myself felt nostalgic when wearing these beautiful pieces of history of the site and now its like plastic cheap garbage that you can barely wear. Of all the sets that needed actual fixing this was not one of them. Maybe a few changes here and there could have benefited the set, but not this. This is so not cool subeta.

I hate to be pinging you over here for the third time, but as there are still people commenting here I guess I'm not the only one who still cares to see this re-revamp. Would it be possible to get an update on this?

I think this revamp might've just gotten pushed a few slots down with the new year crazies. Well... The fall to new year season. There were a lot of new items and stuff happening.

Doesn't really make it any better, but there's at least that knowledge.

Seeing this set just makes me sad. Not an angry sad any more, just a kind of accepting sad. I'd love to get an update.

I have to agree that this is one of the less necessary revamps. The new Kimono and the hair look nice, but the jewelry being all yellow and somehow just too big and not delicate at all doesn't work. The necklace was one of my favourite wearables. :c

Yeaaaahhh, I never posted when this was first revamped, but I truly disliked this revamp a LOT. the jewelry just became plasticy and gaudy, instead of the delicate jewels it used to look like. The color change from sunset orange to a blaring yellow was also an unpleasant part of this revamp. I used to use the ankle wraps and waist wrap frequently, and now I cannot figure out a way to use them anymore. =|

I used to absolutely adore this set, the delicate art and patterns on the kimono.

I miss the old sleeves, I dislike how they hang now, and how the yellow patterns wear clearer on the kimono and more accentuated. I almost feel like it looks a bit too blurred now. I also preferred the old colour scheme for the accessories. I do hope this can be changed to a more similar style to the old one.

I've looked at this and it used to be one of my favorite sets...

Frankly...the only thing that I THINK is an improvement is the kimono...but only the sleeves, i still wish it could have shown the hands, but the draping is better, otherwise I think the rest of the set was destroyed. The wig might be salvageable (other than the color change) but honestly the jewelry is...yeah. garish and I think a total disrespect to the line itself.

the red/oranges where why i liked it, the yellow makes it look like something a grade schooler could do, no offense at all meant, it just...doesn't look pretty and delicate nor elegant any longer.

I do like the new flairs to the revamp, but the 'jewelry' part takes away from that. I think with the old red 'broaches' it would look a lot better. I believe that taking away the 'length' of the kimono was a slightly bad choice.

I think that meshing the two sets together might be better than totally redoing it. The patterns and colors from the old set, the decidedly delicate feel where what attracted a lot of people to it.
