I'm not big on the wig, which was the only piece I owned before. I think it just looks too poofed up for my liking. I adore the new kimono and the wrap though, I regret not just going for it and buying them sooner (since I think both were on my WL before as well) :/
The kimono was my favourite piece in the set, but now it flat and its character is gone. The way the bottom is on the new kimono, makes it kind of look like a leotard with long sleeves.
The old kimono was so beautiful, especially the way the sleeves flowed. I really don't like it now. At all. throws kimono in the trash AND STAY THERE.
Honestly this whole revamp makes me sad, and I don't even own most of it.
Another retired Sub set is trashed. Why can't they just use/copy the old artwork? I think I'm gonna have to quit collecting sbq since they keep wrecking everything I manage to buy.
Unfortunately, I have to throw in my card for not liking this revamp much either. I like the kimono, and the flames on the flare wrap, but that's it.
I loved the Rainyday items but they're all being changed and I'm not sure I like it. :( I especially don't like this revamp. I agree with what everyone's said. I don't get why the jewelry in particular was changed so drastically. It looks nothing like the original! Not in colour, shape, anything.
Usually revamps are good, but in this case I wish we could just keep the originals.
Really hope the trend of thick, plasticy lines goes away soon. All items on Subeta should have the same style instead of one artist deciding to "avoid the trend" of thin lines.
The jewellery looks like cheap plastic now. It's way too big. I liked the smaller more delicate version.
I don't like the sleeves on the new version. Just better hope if you see someone or even if you yourself is wearing something with those sleeves that you never have to go to the bathroom! :o Then again I guess if there isn't any TP... The rest is fine though.
The wig has pixely edges on the bangs, our left. In fact as I look at the complete set, it's right where the headpiece sits on the head. Other than that I actually like the wig. It looks more like hair than shiny plastic like the old version.

The only thing I don't like is the change of hue from orange to yellow
The only thing I don't like is the bottom of the Kimono and the Wig.
I like the wig now, before it was too shiny. I definitely think it looks like an entirely different, fuller, wig but.. I like it and have no regrets buying it for Paprika's TC x:
I used to looove the kimono, and I still really like it (the item version is wonderful) but I will miss the way the sleeves used to look, it was just.. unique. I liked it. I bought the kimono for the item, though, so I'm still happy.
I will agree the jewelry is all... very yellow. I'd really like to see the original color scheme used. I also think if the item glow (on the HA versions) was more opaque, and the original colors and less yellow-- they would be beautiful c:
I like most of the new item art and the update of actual flares but not so much that the suns on all the pieces are more noticeable (and yellow) now- particularly on the ankles and headpiece. I think some of them (especially the headpiece) could have used some updated lineart, but I'm pretty sure most people wore the flare items for the pretty wispy effect, so making the jewelry part more noticeable seems a little pointless.
Also not so crazy about the kimono revamp. x: A lot of the clothing folds on the new one seem strange and unnecessary. The wig I honestly never liked much in the first place even though the color was pretty.
I really really hate the revamp of these items. I cant stand them now - they look so ugly and made of plastic which is not why i bought them. I want to know how to remove items from my wardrobe with the beta wardrobe because if the set is staying like that i'll need to sell them. Edit: Never mind i figured out how to remove items from the beta wardrobe after some experimentation.
I'm not big on the yellow glow that the jewellery's been given, but overall it's a decent revamp.
But then again the Rainyday sets don't appeal to me anyway, so.
The change from orange to the bright yellow also bothers me. Granted, I guess it might look more "solar," but that's not what I signed up for when I bought the pieces. I'm also missing the bottom of the old kimono and the sharper look/more vibrant red of the old earrings. I do like the new glowy wisps, though. The wig also generally looks better, but I just personally don't like high poofs that much.

I actually kind of like this "revamp", but wish there wasn't so much change in the colors. The issue that I have is that so many of the things being "revamped" are actually being made into very different items. It seems crazy that staff hasn't realized that people love the Subeautique lines and any sort of revamp should not be a complete redo.
I think the worst part is the kimono sleeves. The odd fish-fin folds belong on a hippie dress, not a kimono. The way they cover the hands make the folds and raised up hem of the kimono senseless. It also makes it impossible to effectively use held items, which really cuts into the usability of the item.
After rainyday rainstorm got revamped, I started to dread rainyday revamps. I agree with the people that say it lost its ethereal touch. Rainyday was one of those rare subQ lines (or wearables in general) that were delicate. Not sure why it needed a revamp in the first place.
What's sad is when comparing peekaboo revamps to rainyday ones, peekaboo is not as drastic when peekaboo's original art was in dire need of a revamp. I don't get it. still has a weird, unnatural shape and I'm not even going to start on . So if stuff like THAT gets to remain virtually unchanged, why does a more popular line like rainyday get a more drastic revamp when its original art wasn't even in dire need of one? I will never get it.
Not looking forward to future rainyday revamps. At all.
I agree w/ on the hair - really liking that. The jewelry is horrid, though. Way too much yellow and really throws the entire outfit off. Agreeing w/ others on losing the ethereal aspect. Also like the sleeves of the previous kimono but other than that, it's not nearly as horrid as the jewelry.

The kimino looks sooooo much nicer, I really love it now. The folds and sleeves looked pretty forced before. The hair also looks more natural in design, but the colours are pretty bright. It's nice though.
I'm not a fan of all the yellow, which looks really jarring to me. If it was changed back to the orange I'd be so much happier. I can still see myself using the set, it just feels a lot more... bulky than before. And I don't like the strings on the anklets. I'd prefer them with no strings full stop, really.
And , draws all the Rainyday items. :)
