Hey friend, hope you are well. We've had some wicked and strange storms roll through the area and we've had some medical hiccups here with the in-laws, so I haven't been online much the last few days not to mention this site has been screwed up. And our internet has been a bit shaky in the area. We're all well and safe, it's just a lot of stuff happening. Mother-in-law went in for her calcium shot yesterday and when they took her BP, it was up in the 190 range and advised she go to the ER as it she has a heart issue . . . however, mother-in-law wasn't having it and told the nurse that she and father-in-law had a blow up and she was furious. But it was bad enough that the attending nurse called Tucker so he'd be aware that something was wrong. I don't have details yet, but all mother-in-law would say was, "yesterday was quite a day." And Tucker said that his father was rather manic when he was over there yesterday. I hope you're doing well and I'm going to give you my email address just in case this site goes down or some other issue with the state of the world makes it hard to get in touch with each other:
[email protected] Just put in the subject line that it's "jKat from Subeta!" or something so I know it's not some spam crap.
And on Instagram (though I don't really use/post to it) I'm: bookbunny75
Hope you and the family are well, and I'll talk to you soon!
Oddly, every tornado I've been through has been at night. I'll try kissing you on your profile page!
We had a tornado form right over our street!! Which was good as it was still moving away from us. But it was the strangest stuff last night. The storms were split, going around our city for hours, all the warned areas never included us. It wasn't until 9pm that we got added to the watch area and it was 11:30 at night when the warning went off. I had literally put the phone in the drawer for the night and Tucker said he'd just watched the weather update--which said we had nothing to worry about tornado wise--so he'd turned off the television to read on the sofa and then our freaking phones went off with the NWS Warning. Nothing like hearing sirens at night and not being able to even see the clouds coming at you!
I can't kiss right now either. Nothing is working for me.
I've got one!
We've got MASSIVE storms moving into our area today and tonight. So I may not be on much today. The thunder shook the whole house! How are we doing on hearts? Did you join any of the kissing booths? If you do the "spread the love" button, you can kiss on kumos and on the legacy site. Only problem is, there's so many bugs and glitches with the event that it's hard to actually get to some of the booths during the event.
LOL, don't worry about missing a message! At this point, I've forgotten what I sent! The shower people come today to measure as Mother in law decided to go ahead with it without telling Paul until the appointment was set. Oddly, he did not argue or fight back. It's so funny, my father just called me to see how we're doing and said the same thing you did, "I'm sorry you're all going through this." While it does suck a bit, I remind everyone, this is life, you know? I'd rather deal with this than something truly horrific. I'm more worried about Tucker right now as he's never had to deal with this kind of thing and this is my fifth time around with the elderly.
I'm glad you're thriving! You always do have a wonderful mindset about things :) I'm actually envious of your attitude about things.
