Who's ready to rumble? Quentin and Pete have worked together to celebrate their love for lunchadors.

“Greetings, Subetans, it’s been a very long time, and our meeting is quite overdue. I am proud to introduce myself as Princess Liara of the Sacred Lands, the First of Her Name, Arcane Enchantress, and Exalted Conservator of the Saheric Dunes. You look surprised. I am sure all knowledge of my illustrious rule has been suppressed by the ones who stood by as I was wrongfully cast out of my homeland. There will be time to correct those injustices later. For now, the important thing is to deal with the one responsible, the usurper who has planted her “divine” celestial behind squarely on MY throne. …Ahem.

I am, of course, speaking of the goddess, Shinwa. Too long has this self-styled goddess perched up in her temple, doing nothing to better the lives of the peasa—people she has tricked into worshipping her. I aim to correct this.

Thanks to the efforts of several creative volunteers, and people who support their Princess’s return to her throne, I am now ready to peacefully reclaim my birthright. Certainly, if Shinwa has any sense or compassion, she will graciously vacate the premises and cede the land back to me. No one needs to be hurt, nor will they [sub]provided they comply.[/sub]

Of course, if she refuses to leave quietly, it might not go well for her. I would hate for such an outcome to occur! Now, I am aware there are some terrible rumors swirling about me and my volunteers, crazy tales of “possessions” and violent amalgamations. I can only assure you that they are all false and slanderous ramblings, no doubt spread by Shinwa’s acolytes. No one did anything they didn’t want to, any influence I had was… minor, at best. So! With all that said, I shall now proceed to Saherimos.

And should …certain people… try to delay my return, I will show them a mere fraction of what I have prepared for Shinwa. Consider this your last friendly warning, my dear future subjects.”

Hello, everyone! Thank you for bearing with us while we found the organs, er, code, to resuscitate the Voluntary Infection Program. That's what happens when dealing with older bodies of work (ten years' worth, in this case, of different viruses with different stage lengths), the code sometimes needs a bit of patching especially to make sure the problem is handled for good. Fortunately, Keith's update should help next year as well as give Survival its teeth back for 2022.

We understand that it's frustrating when problems crop up, and we really do appreciate you sticking with us through Subeta's various holidays. We'd rather things go off without a hitch, but any endeavor with (for instance) the complexity of the VIP program has a lot of moving parts and we wanted to make sure it was all ready rather than just pushing out an incomplete fix that might cause other issues later.

Now that the Voluntary Infection Program is fully back in fine infectious form, we're extending Survival to 11:59pm on March 9. Thank you all again, and have fun!
