Congrats! Very nice tribute, and love the pet. Some special teachers/professors make great impact in our lives and are always remembered. Like others, I am grateful to them. <3

It's so sweet that this pet is a dedication to a professor who has passed away. One of my favorite professors died from a heart attack while I was in undergrad (at a time when I wasn't taking his classes) and it was very painful. I still miss him.

He sounds like he was a lovely professor.

I remember having a couple professors during my undergrad years that influenced me and made me like history. One still works there and was one of my recommendation writer for my masters' application, a couple have since died from complications due to cancer or old age.

Anyway a beautiful pet and a lovely dedication. I'm sure his memory lives on in the students he inspired and taught.
