Good Evening.
I am [user=Inspector Thorpe] of the Ziara City Police Department. There has been a violent crime perpetrated this evening. The guest of honor, the inventor [user=Vernon Yun], has been murdered in a <a href=/explore/masquerade_south.php>chamber adjoining the ballroom</a>, and I have reason to believe that the culprit is still among us.
Key figures for this investigation have been detained, however anyone in this hall may be a witness to the crime. I request that no one leave the building until we have been able to interview them. My men are doing a sweep of the rooms and securing the doors at this very moment.
With your assistance, I hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. If you have any facts about the crime committed here this night, please feel free to bring them to my attention.
