Humans evolved to be vegetarians, how could our fine artists forget that its totally unnatural for people to eat meat and thus fail to realize depictions of cooked meat are extremely offensive!

I think the revamps are lovely, and although I prefer the darker scheme on the Clawsion, I love the face and I'm surely going to get one.

That Clawsion is pretty good, though. More nightmare pets! Graveyards have never been my cup of tea. (The Mallarchy just comes with a dose of idiocy, too.)

After hearing something Nikki said i totally want a GY Clawison and get it an overlay with a hero cape, it totally looks like he needs one.
And the mallarchy makes me hungry (And it does look like a dead effin bird, thats been cooked)
Oh, and the Clawsion. I think it's a GREAT improvement! And I don't think it's supposed to look like a bear... it's more like a saber-cat to me.
The fact that the mallarchy fails is exactly why it's total WIN! ...'nuff said... XD Love it!

I think the mallarchy is pretty funny, I like the twist on the graveyard thing, so I'm glad whomever was responsible for the revamp didn't change that. : D The clawison is nice too, I just think the mallarchy is a teeny bit more special. ♥ Both are beautifully drawn in any case, great job artists!

I agree that the Clawsion looked much better with a collar. I heard the argument for getting rid of it was "Not all of them are domesticated" ...Well, the Chai kept its collar, so I don't understand that.
This one though I like. I like how its wings look, and I love the eyes. And the scar over the eye. It looks like it's quite proud and happy of its DEAD status!
The Mallarchy I will always find hilarious. I'm glad it was kept like this and not changed because of people that would whine. Some people need to get a sense of humor!

ok, so would you all now stop it? i don't see one thing why ovation has to be singled out. maybe the creation "carnist" is a turn off, but that's it. and hell yes - i think it's great to say if things are wrong - neo pets are cute, too - but i don't want no cute pets - and i always thought that was why GY and NM were invented - seems as if i'm wrong.

I've had the GY Mallarchy since it was first released, as you can pretty much tell by the name of mine. I too miss the tiny skull on its head, but the body of the new one is a big improvement. I would like to see more of the longer white leg bone sticking out, and the tail a bit stubbier and more plucked looking like on the old version, but it's a generally good update, especially since the old lineart was a tad thick.

It was my offhand comment that it doesn't look like a dead bird to me - actually, given the shape of the tail and the neck being awkwardly positioned, I could have called it a fish/duck image - that got people up in a tizzy.
Two things:
I'm gonna go actually live my life instead of being sucked up into some half-baked clusterfuck started by people who can't stand the fact that there are people who break their fantasy's standards of normalcy.
All of you seriously need to find productive ways to deal with your defensiveness.
Hey, I like the new revamps of the both the Clawison and the Mallarchy. If I wanted to create one Graveyard pet, it would hve to be the Clawison. It looks better than before. And I love how the Graveyard Mallarchy seems to be giving everyone a dirty look. Great job on the updates!

what are people getting their panties bunched up about? pretty sure the mallarchy isn't intended for shock value or anything - it's a fairly fitting portrayal. it's silly, and cute. and i don't think any comments made by those in defense of the mallarchy are anything worthy enough to accuse someone of watching 'rape porn' over...
I like them both, the face on the Clawsion turns me off a little DX But other then that its fantastic
I think it's funny that it ALL OF A SUDDEN is a big deal, the GY Mallarchy has been like that since day one, its just been updated, its not new. Why is it such a big deal NOW?
PS - +147 to Subeta staff and artists for creating squeeworthy pets, books, clothes, minions, and tons and tons of others yummy stuff for me to obsess over and hoard.
I'd prefer a squashed duck rather than a roasted one. or a roasted terracoon and not a run over one.

Anyways, i think the mallarchy is awesome. Ducks are cute and all but seeing a dead duck on this site is still awesome. I love cats, but i can get over the fact that theres a 'dead' cat here. Nothing to get butthurt over obviously.
Fyi. Cooked duck=dead duck. Who cares how realistic it looks.

wow dunno what all that below is about. 
You shouldn't be so mean about the art because these revamps were greatly needed. They are artist renditions and certainly it's good to have user feedback, but just saying they are terrible without reason is rather... much without appreciating what it took to produce them.
I think the artwork is great. I do feel the clawsion could have a more darker color and feel to it (such as these colors are a bit pastel and brighter than what I expected a graveyard pet to be). However, I like the pose because it makes good use of space (not too much whitespace) and the details are way more believable than the original. As for the mallarchy, I thought the idea was hilarious previously and I don't understand why you have to take humor into offense... but I too would have preferred a more normal looking mallarchy (but I guess I'm just too much of a conformist XD) despite how much flavor it brings to our subeta environment (makes us a little more unique, right?) . I love how the artist used dots similar to the bumps on real poultry skin and the overall anatomy makes it so realistic, I like looking at the details. 
Great job artists! I can't wait to see more!

I love these revamps. Honestly, great job! I think that this clawison looks more dead than the older one. The older one to me did not look as dead, it looked like it had eyeliner on.
The mallarchy is just hilarious, I love the little changes that make the artwork ten times more amazing. ^^

Really. This is a virtual pet site. Things don't need to look real and they don't need to be sensitive or politically correct.
But anyways, I really like these re-vamps. The mallarchy has much much much better shading now, and the clawison looks more like a clawison. Pity though that the clawison lost it spiky collar.
