Actually, graveyard pets don't have to be horrifying, they just have to be dead 
Sometimes they can be horrifying, sometimes not, but it's not a requirement of the colour when we're drawing them! Bloodred are definitely supposed to be scarier, and nightmare are the pets from your nightmares - all creepy and twisted.
