It's going uber slow for me right now, taking 3/4 minutes to load a page and all together 6 to load images. Every other site I go on is working fine though?

I posted about this on Saturday and I wanted to say that since then there's been a "night and day" improvement. There are 843 users on and it's running very well, haven't noticed lag yet. Thank you so much!! Someone else said that they refused to play when slow & I did that for a couple days, but it's super now. I don't even mind that I had to wait til today to open my June 21st birthday presents, since the site was down when I tried on Sunday!!! Anticipation is a good thing.

I noticed that the more folks there are online the slower the site gets. The less folks the faster it is. that just means I have to find hours where not that many folks are online to play with minimal lag.

considering the amount of people online (1000), it's a bit faster, but overall pretty slow and still loading as i type.

It's hopelessly slow for me and has been during the times the site has been up today. I don't even want to try questing with the site like this.

It's still really slow. I wasn't here right after you fixed it but it was slow before and it might be even slower now.

I decided to wait after posting that last message and after 6 minutes I decided to let you know, It still hasn't finished loading the page. That is a long time to wait for things to stop loading. Slow isn't the word. It's more than slow.

I spoke too soon the other day. It was good then but now it's slower than cold molasses. Trying to do quests is taking way too long. Even just going from page to page is horrible. Please keep working on it.

The other day it was quite fast, now it's super laggy again. Trying to quest is horrid and so is trying to vend. I sure hope this gets fixed. Should have waited to activate my gold account. Last 2-3 days has been a waste of it.

It's back to running quite slowly again for me. There's a fair amount of lag throughout the site, although it was better yesterday.

I honestly appreciate all the time you've taken telling us on all the progress you've made and now ask for our HONEST feedback. No i don't get sqls BUT i DO get LAG and a lot of it. I hope we really do get faster speed on here and really soon.This is so discouraging. Wizard quests now are usually at most 10 tokens-___- or 5 Few 15....I won't lie and say hey we're super fast because we aren't....Appreciate your hard work however

I'm currently having a lot of lag. It took awhile for this page to load itself and I feel that the Ice Field won't be able to finish loading before it times out.

I totally appreciate the comment you wrote the other day about how the old data base was corrupt & kept causing major problems. I thought it was great that you said, getting the site up to speed is a matter of programming, and "I can fix that."

So, I have faith that you WILL, but just to answer your question, the lag time is SO bad now, I've never seen it like this (I've only been here since January). In fact, every page load & shop search, etc. is so slow, that it's difficult for me to hang out & play. It's very frustrating. And I DO believe that you'll be able to fix it. Thanks for asking.

It's more or less gotten faster, but like people said before, some parts are still quite slow. Comments sometimes glitch for me too. But overall, there is such an improvement. Good job, keep at it!

It depends on what part of the site I'm on. Explore loads pretty fast, shops are a little bit off but not by much, search runs at the same speed as before (which is somewhat fast.), and the news and front page both load at a speedy rate. ;D

Forums are the same as before fr me. Ranging from somewhat fast to fast at random times of the day.

It is very laggy from here, been that way since subeta switched over to the new server,to much lag to do quests, to slow to buy books from the book shop, even with less people it's still lags, but we have hope that you'll fix it somehow.

Pretty fast for dial-up that has the internet box right in your front yard. But it acts like DSL/Cable and what not. So yes, except when I was loading this page, it's fast as lighting.

Hi Alex, thanks for everything. i've been trying to figure out when it lags and when it doesn't. yesterday morning it was very fast, so i did all my quests. by the afternoon, very laggy. i thought it was because of the amount of users, but right now it is very laggy and it says 482 users online.

I was able to at least complete my quests today without giving up because of the lag. So its a little bit better. That being said . . . its still slower than I would expect with only 400 people on.

Thanks for all your work though! Its definitely better than it was a few days ago.

Its laggy at moments, but its better than having MSQL errors and constantly having to check back to see if the site is up.

Honestly, I know it's a bit late but:

There is occasional lag but overall it's much faster. I like this.

HOWEVER:

There's now popped up a crazy amount of just irritating and unhelpful glitches all over the place that make me almost miss the lag.

I can't post in the shoutbox half the time, the Wizard was glitched, the Zapper's messing up, and my comments were glitching like nuts.

I appreciate the staff's efforts and I can definitely see progress, but things are still far from perfect. &;

Okay, now I can confirm: when there's 800-900 online, it's damn slow (not sure if there actually are now, maybe it's a glitch? Never seen more than 300 at this time of day!), otherwise - pretty good. When it's less than 500, it's super fast. xD For me, at least.
