Hi all! Okay, so I believe (and never before have I so hoped I'm right!) that I've had a breakthrough with the server config. For the first time, our database servers seems to actually be using a significant part of it's muscle.

So tell me in comments here: is the site fast for you? Or does it still leave something to be desired (and even if so, is it better than before?)

Hmmm, let's hope this actually posts because all I see is half a page and it's still loading. (After 5 minutes of waiting)

It was going really fast here a few hours ago, much better than the previous few days, but now I can barely get anything to load

Extremely slow for me, now it's loading as a non-HTML page. Sometimes my connection is actually timing out because it's so slow. Sorry Alx

I'm using firefox: The site is actually slower than before... @ As people have said, I'm finding that the images take forever to load. XD

:23pm- It is very laggy right now! It seems to be hit and miss for me. Sometimes quick and sometimes laggy. Keep going! You WILL get it! hugs

it seems to be going a great deal faster but still a tad bit slow... it's much better now then it has been the last few days...

It's patchy for me. Sometimes it's pretty darn fast, but other times the pages won't even load o.O I click on a link, leave for a few minutes, and when I come back, the loading bar still hasn't started filling.

But whenever I do get moments of speed, it's great! Thanks for all of yall's hard work =D

It was running really fast when I was in IE. But I have trouble vending in IE so I switched to firefox and it is dragging really really bad on firefox.

I haven't really noticed any difference in the speed at all. Ever since the server switched over, I haven't been able to do a whole lot on the site. Daily things that normally take me half an hour total have been taking up to an hour for the past few days. I've given up on all quests until the site speeds up some more.

Thanks for all of the great updates and working to make things better!

It was really fast this morning, I breezed through Wizard Quests but not its really slowed down alot again. I hope it comes back up with the speed it had this morning. Thanks for putting so much effort into this!

I should say, though, that while the rest of the site is still lagging, Wiz Quests are flying for me. Don't know why it would go faster than everything else.

I don't know what these people who think it's way faster are thinking. It's SLIGHTLY faster, but not by much. It's still horrible.

The site is actually lagging quite a bit for me at times. It seems as though it's slow most of the time, and fast rarely. I miss it when it used to be fast

I haven't hit any major lag yet. It seems to be running smoother and faster. The images load faster and I am happy with that

At some points its faster and other times it slower, the slow parts are even slower and the fast parts are like usual. =/

It works fine for a little bit but now I am experiencing some really bad lagging. Some times a page won't load.

It's been running like crap!!!!! :O I can bareley load 1 page!There's only 400people on right now though......Maybe it's not just me,but maybe that's why so many less people are on now.

sigh I just posted a few minutes ago about not being able to see images. I finish the post and go back to the news and what do you know...I can see the images again. And my wardrobe is working properly again. The pages are also loading faster.

It's about 2:30 pm and it is lagging. Since there are only 487 people online (usually around 700 by this time) I'm guessing I'm not the only one getting lag.

Last night it was running okay for me, but I figure that's also because there were only 500 people on or so. Today, it's taking me up to five minutes sometimes to load a page. The funny thing is, hagane is sitting three feet away and on her computer, it's running fine. And I've rebooted and I know it's not my connection!

When I logged off last night, before the news post, it was running slow, but at least the pages were loading. Now, it's still slow, but I'm getting no images. I either get the little red x-in-a-box or a blank space. I can't even change my HA because the clothing isn't showing up in the wardrobe. The pages without images (quick stock, shop log, profits, etc.) load very quickly and the quick stock is a lot faster. I can also see other people's HA's. All other images are not loading.

Last night, right after I had read this news post, it was running great! It was fast. But now (2:18pm EST), it's running a little slow. At the bottom of the site toolbar (where it transfers data), it takes forever to transfer.

its runnin slow for me now too. was great this morning around 8. i was attemping to remove an item from my shop and it took so long to process it got lost

2:07 PM- When I came on earlier (around 11:40 AM) the site was running great, but now... gah, slow as molasses! I mean, even when the servers first switched over it wasn't THIS slow for me... but now I am creeping along again. :/ I am sure you can fix this though.

The site seems to be lagging terribly for me as well, and will randomly decide not to load at all at times. I'm glad you're putting so much effort into this though. ♥
