Hi all! Okay, so I believe (and never before have I so hoped I'm right!) that I've had a breakthrough with the server config. For the first time, our database servers seems to actually be using a significant part of it's muscle.

So tell me in comments here: is the site fast for you? Or does it still leave something to be desired (and even if so, is it better than before?)

1:53pm it was fast this morning when I was on, although not smooth... Now there seems to be a problem, slow and connection timed out pages or server reset pages

Don't know what's happened since last night, but now we're moving as slow as a snail through tar. It took at least 5 minutes to load this page. Will probably take another 5 to post this comment.

This lag is forcing me to do laundry. I'm not happy with that. :p

The lag right now is really bad. It was much better at the time this news post was made, but now it's worse.

I can't do anything because it's so slow. It took 10 minutes just to load the homepage.

It's off and on. Some will load like lightning, others have the same old lag. Still, it's an improvement.

I have yet to catch the site when it's supposedly fast. Everytime I come it takes ages to load things AND to move things from my inventory to vault, etc.

seems like I'm having the same issues as the majority here, but it seems to be very hit-or-miss. It goes from "super-fast" to almost stopping, sometimes within minutes.

Its slow and the graphics are loading slow or they don't load at all.

actualy, mine is super fast. Course that may just be cuz i clered out my comp....

but yeah, its way faster than it used to be.

It's super slow compared to the old..... though I'd prefer slow to the awful squirrels once an hour that we used to get. Just makes it impossible to do certain quests where the reward is based on how fast.

It was at about three seconds for a page load about 10 minutes ago for me but now it's at about 20 - 30 seconds for a page load. Not all the images are loading for me or they're loading very slowly.

Was faster yesterday but right now the lag monster is rearing his ugly head..Things are very slow going (with only 480 people online too)..Hopefully its just a temporary snag! Thanks for all your hard work and asking our opinions on the matter!

It's been basically perfect for me so far (: there were a couple lags, but only for like... a minute or less before everything went back to normal.

Its acting a little strange...You have a minute or so of fastness, followed by a couple of minutes of lag.

Mine is definatly faster than it has been in the last little bit. But not as fast as it was previously. I am not cursing the Quests today as I do them Thanks Alex

It was speeding up great around midnight. But now it's lagging(not HORRIBLY, but still lagging), and images won't load.

During the morning (Eastern time), it's quite fast. But during the afternoon and evening, it's pretty laggy.

But even better: much less SQLs!

Im sorry to say I dont see an improvement Im doing wizard quests and its laggin and the images for the items arent even loading for me So sorry I dont see where this has made any changes, hope u get things worked out soon

The site was fast last night at about midnight (uk time) but now at 5pm (uk time) its incredibly slow again. i think it just depends on what time it is and how many people are online.

The site's not fast for me, but it's not really slow either. I think it's about the same so far. Good luck with the muscle power though!

It's still rather laggy for me. Part of it is my laptop, true, but it's never been THIS slow before. No insult to you, of course. I've lived ed with electronics long enough to know that sometimes, despite your best efforts, they still act up.

It's really quite fast for me but It's taking an insane amount of time for the 'I am human' codes to load for the shop purchases.

Most of the site it pretty fast, but I still get Vending lags/errors a fair bit x.x QS'ing and clearing out vault is MUCH faster though ^^

last night it was still slow but not as slow as the night before. right now its morning and in the morning its faster. as the day advances and we get close to supper time, the site starts getting slower. maybe today it will be better. well see. ill post again to let you know for today.
