I know, I said I'd stfu, but I honestly believe Cylum is getting at something: Keshi's art in general is of high technical quality, and her Nightmare Paralix art has proven that she can create dynamic and interesting poses, so why didn't she apply ALL of her talents here? Personally, I'm of the opinion that a failure to commit is just as much of a sin as butchering someone else's vision - that is to say that Keshi should have committed fully to her own vision, rather than letting the flames she'd endure (either way, I might add) weigh on her and force her into a halfhearted approximation of an artistic perspective she clearly did not agree with.
Keshi, when the time comes to revamp the Angelic Paralix, do something awesome with it. The hell with whether people will piss and moan about it "not being the same" - they'll piss and moan either way, and the best you can do is what you think is best.

The point of revamping pets is to keep Subeta's art style consistent. The old pet looked weird, compared to more recent releases. 
i think the details and color are beautiful but i still just don't like it as much as the old. for instance, why is one whisker (is that what they are?) waaay longer then the other? and i don't like how the back looks flat and awkward towards the butt/tail. i know this pose isn't really different from the old, but the old gave it a look of floating, this new version kinda looks like it's dangling off a hook or something. very awkward and unnatural to me.

GET A CLUE PEOPLE You mention ANOTHER revamp and you might never see it. The same artist that does the paralix does NOT do all the the reborns...the revamps are handed out by SPECIES. Omg some people are just so THICK!

I second that, and every other pet and revamp mentioned in this news post. 
I do have to say, I prefer the look of the old one. That isn't to say that the new one is bad by any means, it's also quite pleasing, it's just a few things that seem a little bit off to my eye. I liked the old Paralix's crazy grin and wide eyes, and the new pose doesn't look quite as animated or dynamic. The new one looks as though he is feeling pretty relaxed--the old one looked a bit more alive and active.
I also kind of miss the stylized flame coming from the mouth. One of the things that I like about the Paralix is the way that organic, almost calligraphy-like elements are incorporated into the design. It looks like something that you would find on an old Japanese Shoji door. The new Paralix here does look like a very pretty dragon, but it is a dragon that is lacking a culture to connect it to. It would be like changing the Bloodred Dragarth's pose--it would lose that sense of culture that makes it stand out (for the Dragarth, the dragon rampant pose always reminds me of England or Wales). Again, it isn't any kind of problem to freak out over or to get rude about. Just my thoughts. Overall I think it's a pretty redraw, and not a loss at all. I just think that there is always room for improvement, and that rethinking some elements of the design based on constructive criticism isn't a bad idea.

Of all the things, I actually like the pose, surprisingly. When I think of Paralixes flying though the air, I think of them as sort of twisting and diving as lightly and randomly as a leaf. (Spirited Away has a lot to do with that). Granted, the old pose was cool, but this one I like just as much.
The pose and the ears I adore, the face, not so much.

...the old Reborn Paralix was bent in a more...dynamic way. I agree -- the fire and the overall image needed an update, but I don't like how this one turned out. The face is a bit...well...blah. It looks too confused. As I said of the Reborn Kumos -- it doesn't look triumphant enough. The lips make it look...er...well, it's not like the old one. I love the elbows and the ankles, though. They needed some fire. ^^
And I agree with Lace -- the Reborn Dragarth needs an update. BADLY. The Paralix - not so much.
Haven't played in a while.. :/ But this was a sort of disappointing update to log in to. I'm just glad I didn't have a reborn Paralix.
It's got all of the fiery colors, that's for sure but.. It looks so dull. Kinda like it's saying 'Yeah, I'm on fire, whatever..'

Jeez! Now that's just harsh and uncalled for. Shame on you! Keshi did a very good job with this redraw, even if the pose didn't end up the way many people would have liked. The anatomy, shading, coloring, and the flaming fur are spectacular.
Really people, if you can't put your criticism in a mature and polite manner, don't post at all. I won't say that everyone is being rude, but the number of rude and insensitive comments is unacceptable.

I am in shock with how rude people are being. I just cannot believe this. It's not even a matter of "Well we have the right to our opinions" or "We're just giving constructive criticism". You have the right to your opinion, but you don't have the right to INSULT someone who obviously worked very hard on creating a beautiful piece of art. Especially that one comment Tiara made, about "Reborn pets not being for Keshi". My jaw just dropped when I read that. How rude can you get?
I honestly thought people would be more mature on Subeta, but I guess not. The maturity level of some of you just astounds me.
Normally I'm blown away by how rude people are every time a revamp comes out, but this is by far the worst it's been.
Don't listen to them, you did a great job with this one, and the others you've done in the past. This is definitely on my list of Do Want pets.
I like it, but my only complaint is that the face doesn't look as powerful as the other reborn pets... Like, he kind of looks like he's sighing. o.O But other than that the quality of the art is good.

I... don't really know what to say. I've been expecting this for a long time, keeping my Reborn Potion. I know all the poses were to remain the same... and I'm glad this one doesn't look as looong as the old one, and the art quality is superb, but... Oh well, I think I just need time for it to come alive in my eyes, I didn't like the general Paralix revamp at first too, and now I can't imagine something different. XD

Normally, I adore anything Paralix. I adored the GY version, and the revamp altogether.
I'm a little disappointed with this one, though. I love the fur, paws, and especially the ears (I'm weird that way), but the nose and mouth is what throws me off. It looks like it's either sneezing or hocking a loogie.

I feared that the old Reborn Paralix was going to get a revamp. I hoped it would be like the Kumos or Devonti revamp without much changes but even though it's still almost the same pose, it lost a lot of the charm the old one had. But I guess I'm biased since I loved the old one, so I'm just going to use a pet overlay.
I think the thing that throws it off the most is the "bite" out of the back. It doesn't have to be a anatomically impossible curve just more curved then what's in the revamp. Right now it looks like the fire has eaten a chunk out of it's back/butt. I hate this way of making your point, because it is so easily countered; When you look to buy a house, and see the base crumbling, or don't like the layout of the house, you can have an OPINION on it without being a Mason/Home Decorator. When purchasing a car, and you see it's not the right car for you because of the rust or the fact that you can't fit your family in the damned thing because it's too small, you can have an OPINION on the car without being a mechanic.
And also, I happen to enjoy drawing, and have been accepted to the art program in my school, so I'd say I have at least a decent grasp on how to draw things, BUT, but but but but BUT;

I have had a Reborn Paralix for a while now. I don't see what is so bad about this new one. Looks fine to me.

You know the point I just going to make is if this many people don't like this color revamp, Should this kumos be revamped again? because, If I was running a site like this. I would not like over half the people disappointed in the art. =/ Maybe if this pose is not working with anatomy, maybe a new pose should be made.

This is a pet peeve of mine that someone would use this as an excuse. It's up there with "You're just jealous because I can draw better than you."

In their defense, just because a person can't do something doesn't mean they don't know something about it or cannot form a valid opinion on it. On the other hand, people are quick to say things before thinking them through.

Um is are any of the mentioned faults going to be fixed or is she going to just leave the image as is?
The image is highly unappealing and I want to change my parlax as soon as possible, but if its going to be fixed up a bit I might wait to see the changes.
