It is with much enthusiasm that reborn paralixes celebrate Fireside, which is exactly why we keep fire extinguishers on hand at all times.

I dunno if I will keep my Reborn Paralix or not... sigh guess Reborn pets aren't for Keshi at all. (used-to-be awesome Reborn Keeto now rests in peace along with the Reborn Paralix... yes.. Cylum, I hope they change the Kora now cause you are just being a jerk. If you don't like the new art, overlay it with the old art...simple.

And guys this is not a poll this is a revamp. Meaning they are not just going to go and change it. It did need a revamp...the species got a revamp. Now it looks more defined and more like the current paralix. There is always going to be a certain item or pet that you don't like...move on.

Keshi I think you did a wonderful job

One last comment. I'd probably be just fine if it weren't for the broken back part... the other things could go by just fine.

I'm not saying Keshi is a bad artist, because she isn't bad. I personally couldn't have done better with that pose... it's a hard pose to draw... OR put into graphics. With all the curves, angles, and whatnot is NOT being sarcastic.

There's always the overlay option as well if you don't like this version as well. -prods Kyou's page- A friend of mine fixed a few points here and there that we agreed on, and now we're both using that image for our reborn Paralixes.

I'll sum up a bit with what I think. Personally, I agree with what everyone says with the 'limp'. The lets just... dangle there... they aren't... 'RAR' like the old one was. The face does seem to be a different shape than the other paralixes. The back looks... broken near the top. And... unlike all the other reborns... the gaze is... normal instead of furious. With a lot of it... it just seems as if the picture was meant to be larger than the canvas and the poor thing one squeezed in there.

I'm SO sorry I had to say these things... but I really do think this way, I'm not gonna lie and say 'I love it', because I don't. But you aren't telling us to love everything on this site, you're just asking us to be nice about it and give good critique. I'm trying to be as nice as I can about this.

I like the new updated look, its now up to standards of the more recent subeta art.

And to anyone who doesn't like it...just don't change pet into one(or change it to something else) it's not the end of world, and I doubt you could make one better(I know I couldn't make one in any pose of the quality and detail that this one has)

So yea, just my .02cents.

I didn't say ANYTHING that was disagreeing with the comments about how "limp" the pose is anyway. I have mentioned nothing other then the old pose could not be kept the same because of the anatomy. I know I am going to get comments like these, I've been an artist for what, a year and a half? I never said I didn't want those kinds of comments and I am definitely not disrespecting anyone's comments.

But now that I had read your comment more thoroughly I can see how you could assume I was meaning that. I quoted that comment just for the first part about the artist. The rest of my comment was referring to the people wanting the old pose as a whole. I was singling out no one.

As for what I seen in the Kumos is nicely drawn. The anatomy looks good in this one. Though the pose to me looks like someone uper-cut him in the tummy. This may look a bit unpleasing to people. The think people liked about the old one is probably its more expressive in how curvy its body is.

One last comment before I stfu. XD The moonbat anatomy on the old one served a valid stylistic purpose: it was to make it look more like the traditional representation of a Chinese dragon (which is kind of the epitome of moonbat anatomy).

I love the shading and colors on the revamp, but the pose seems too "limp" to me, like many others have stated. I realize the old version has some glaring anatomical errors, but the pose was much more dynamic. I think the pose would look more "active" if its legs weren't all hanging at the same length. (For instance, if it was reaching towards the fire with a front paw, or if one of its back legs was lifted slightly.)

I think the people who are crying and screaming need to calm down. The point of revamps is to make the art better, and even though people may be disappointed, the art IS now better. It is closer to Subeta's current standards.

I think the shading and anatomy have been improved tenfold. I will agree on one part though, the fluidity could be better. I think this could be solved by starting early on with a line to show where the body is going to move, and work the anatomy onto that. I just did the basic motion of the pose on each. The overall shape of the old one is more dynamic and interesting to look at, but again, with lacking shading and anatomy.

Overall though, the revamp is certainly excellent, and just because Keshi made one revamp that not EVERYONE was pleased with, does not maker her a viable asset to Subeta, if I'm correct, most of Keshi's revamps/colors are received well.

8/ The pose isn't very attractive, it looks like it's doing a messed up front flip. And it looks much to much content to be a fierce reborn pet. Like all other up-to-date reborn pets either have a taunting, evil look, or a fierce look, even some old ones. This one..looks blank, no real emotion truly.

Well I have to say that I am disappointed with this

The face expression is bland and the back is wrong and looks broken/misshapen. There is no nice curve like the old one had, plus the long, eastern dragon body is gone.

I love how you made it more detailed and sharper looking. :3 Something about the face (around the nose) looks a bit off, but I can't put my finger on it... I think the flames on it's back could be sharper or maybe not have all of it the same length.

Everything else, IMO, is lovely.

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">.. Blank? The eyes are somewhat wide open, suggesting alertness, with the brow slightly furrowed, which gives me the arrogant and critical feel associated with the Reborn colour.

If it were catapaulted with great force, and were not in control of its own limbs, would the tip of the tail be curved in that relaxed manner? Wouldn't all the legs be splayed outwards in surprise, and in anticipation of landing somewhere at some point?

Just looks to me as though the Paralix is more than in control of its own movement.

I assume that you're the artist. You have every right to be proud of your work (and you should be because it's very well done), but if half the comments say it looks limp, then maybe it's worth another look.

For the face, I only saw the furrowed brows after you mentioned them--they're too tiny to notice or blend in too well which makes it simply look wide-eyed. The limpness that people keep on mentioning comes from the way the limbs just seem to hang down and from the lack of curvature in the spine. And I don't know how many old cartoons you've seen, but that pose could definitely be used in a catapult scene (minus the curved tail).
