Ohmygawd, I love the Malticorn now. o__o My Kurai looks so wicked. ♥ I was actually pretty worried about this revamp, but I'm really, really happy with the outcome. 8D Unless Nightmare blows me away, he'll be staying Graveyard. I'm so glad the double horns were kept, as well as that evil grin. It's nice that the guts aren't hanging out all over, too, I was dreading the possibility of that. x: I LOVE YOU, RAH and so does my Malti. ♥

Doglover, I have two things to say. o__o The GY Malticorn had never looked angry, and it's SUPPOSED to look dead. And the Chelon does so look like a zombie. Just not the drooly kind. X:

I'll toss one more comment in here. I think they should revamp the bloodred malticorn and use the pose they had in the old graveyard one. That would be totally awesome.
... I didn't think the Malticorn would be revamped. Sure, the revamp looks great in its own right, the art is great.
But I loved the old one, it was completely different to the new one, and the first Subeta pet I instantly wanted. I still remember saving up for months as a newbie to buy that first graveyard potion.
I'm not whining, but I much preferred the old GY malticorn and its smirky character.
If the GY malticorn MUST be made more zombie-like, please keep the old pose, add in a few bones and update the art style.
Imho, the revamp for the GY malticorn looks a lot like Murdoc from Gorillaz. I guess I was hoping the revamp would look ... more horrific and awesome like the GY chai, kora and manchu. I mean, it's horrific, but in a different sort of way. It's.. how do you say.. Like Ballistic compared to Mission Impossible. It's the same kind of movie, but it went so off the mark that it just plunged off into the deep blue yonder.
However, the GY chelon is amazing. It's kind of got that ironic awesome you see with the GY chai, GY mallarchy and the GY aeanoid. The poached chelon gems rock, the bone showing, the worm and the kelp touches are fantastic. Plus, the pop plastic rings and the fishnet? Love it.
One of two isn't bad.

Very nicely done, in my opinion. I personally think that it was time they got updated - they look much better than before. I'm just waiting for some of the other pets to actually come out in new colors... but still, it was time this was done. (:

Like some people mentioned before, I prefer the old malticorn pose and the hooves don't look cloven to me. I'm also a little confused as to why it sprouted another horn. I mean, it still looks great on its own, but comparatively, I think it can be even better.

The malticorn looks ok but it looks a bit to rough-and-tough-fighter and not so much an i'm-a-zombie-run-in-fear. i would kind of like more rotting on the malticorn so it doesn't look so much like a pet whose got in a few good fights. i mean just comparing the chelon to the malticorn revamp the chelon is more rotted and dead looking and it makes it look really good. i would like to see a bit more rotting and exposed flesh you know the stuff that really screams ZOMBIE!!! as soon as you see it. i do really love that chelon update! nice job artists!

Personally I adore the art (Nix the hooves.. but that's just a preference) however, I can see where both parties are coming from.
For the peeple, it's changed alot. It's no longer the pet they paid for, yes it has likenesses.. but it isn't that pet they paid for.
However, on the same coin different side the other wasn't consistant in the slightest to the GY pets. The color was off, the anatomy was wonk (That back leg that looked broke always confused me) not to mention outside of the greenish color it looked nothing like a GY Pet. But it still isn't the pet the paid for so they're going to be mad all the same.
By and by, I actually.. like it. Too bad the only pet of mine that could be GY is my Kora, which I've yet to GY for this very reason. Not that Rah is going to ruin it (IluBb) it just may not suit my zombie cat when and if it's revamped.
All in all you can't please all the people all the time XD Lovely art though C: And the Chelon amuses me.. though my first thought was that I would of liked to see the plastic rings around it's neck or nose just to prove a bigger point. But I'm glad it was added in all the same.
the old chelon was just... really bad... 
and the old malticorn was like-able, but lacked the same features as other graveyard ones, and it's shading and style were improper.
it is disappointing however, how many people are unpleased with it, considering the new malticorn is beautiful, and makes me want one even more.
If people really like the old malticorn more, maybe revamp from the old one to make it look brand new, and add it as a seperate, new color.
I'm terrible with ideas, but who knows?

Yeah. Went to SubetaHQ and saw the revamped Malticorn. Now it sure looks cool! But it means something is wrong with the picture here in the News. At least for me.
What... is it just me, or do I see the old Graveyard Malticorn? The Chelon is maginificently revamped, sure, but the Malticorn is exactly the same... O.o
I've never really liked the new Malticorn, and the Graveyard colour still doesn't make me like it. |: The standard of colouring and such is absolutely lovely, but I just dislike Malticorns.
However I really adore that Chelon. It's detailed; I can actually sit and look at it and I feel I'd get to know the personality of it more. c:

The old GY malticorn art was horrible.. It didn't match the rest of the GY pets and it needed to be redone. This version is WONDEFUL I'd get one if I had the potion. People will get over it :3 After reading through the posts here the majority liked the new one.
You guys really have been told to only draw Graveyard and Nightmare pets. Omg, this is going to be a great month and it already started in a great way. Good job artists.

Wooow, the Graveyard Malticorn turned out amazing! I've been worried with all these revamps that the Malticorn would end up too different for my liking, since I adored the old one... But this one is lovely! Not too decayed, and still has a bit of a sinister look! I looove how scrawny it is, too! My praise to the artist :] And just so the Chelon doesn't feel left out, I think that one is splendid, as well!
People! Rah obviously worked hard on the Graveyard Malticorn. The colors may have changed a little, but it's still the same old GY Malticorn you've all come to know and love, just with a new twist! As you can see, Rah STILL kept the two horns and the evil smirk just like the old version and the rearing is probably because the Malticorn is half dog and half unicorn. And last I recalled the unicorn was a mystical horse with a single horn growing out of it's head. Therefore the rearing makes sense for the pose.

whine whine whine. Geez. No wonder I don't bother with the news. Nothing makes any of you happy. And it is always the same old people. The old Multicorn doesn't even hold a candle to this one. The pose is better., it still has a evil type look to his/her face EVEN THOUGHT THE GY COLOR IS ZOMBIE AND NOT EVIL/DEMONIC. Not to mention the over all better art quality. You should be happy someone is ever taking the time to make the art better and for what? You to sit here and dog it? If you dislike it so much leave the news posts for people who appreciate the work and just do a stupid profile edit and paste the old crappy pic over the new one. One a less angry note. Awesome job on the revamps to the artists. You can really see all the hard work put into these revamps. As much as I love the Chelon, I must say the Multicorn is my fav. I have never wanted a Multi before, but with this revamp I must say it is a must have now :3 Looks like I have some work to do of my own!!
WOW The Malticorn looks So much better! We need revamps for the Swampie, Serpenth, and Hikei now! At least that's my opinion.

The fur on the legs of the malticorn seem very weird, like it has no weight, BUT! other than that, a lovely revamp! I really like that expression.

Okay Rah, so now I get why you changed the look to something more zomified for the Malticorn, so does that mean the Nightmare or BR will carry this sinister quality we liked about the old GY Malti?
Wow. The users here are wickedly harsh. The artists spend an amazing amount of time on these revamps and all they seem to get in response is a 5 to 1 ratio of people who have nothing but complaints to give. Quite frankly, on an art-quality level, the new Malticorn is steller as opposed to the old version. Seems the largest complaint is with the pose? Wow. That shocks me, seeing as how this new pose is much less static and more dynamic. Seems most folks also have that misconception that GY pets are, what, evil? They're just undeads. All the complaining about how the old GY Malticorn looked devious and conieving - undead are generally defined as being mindless and driven by a single, powerful, obsession...why make that kind of a creature look...clever? :
I think this a huge improvment for the Malticorn, the Chelon looks fantastic, and I'm not even much of a fan of either of these species. Cheers to the artists! Now lets see an Anyu and/or Illumis update. ; )

Thana: For those who are fans of the GY pets and the Malticorn sort; yes, for a number of us we stand discontented, though I do wish people would give suggestive criticism or highlight what they would like to have seen kept of the last model.
Well, this means I get to completely change Samalander species and Theme. I just can't have a Malticorn that looks the way it does. -shrugs- Oh well, whats done is done. What can I do?
