Sayonara_Baby its not greed its called supply and demand. no one forces the person to spend the 25 mil. if the person choose to buy it even though they know most people price it lower its there choice. Its their own fault if they can't be patience and so they pay the higher price.
I have had items go way cheap because of missing 0 but I didnt get all in a tizzy, easy come easy go,this is just a game, I get most of my wishlist from trading with others and i buy from cash shop
I have 18 year old grandson and I love this site.
I never log out so it shows me on all the time.I dont ignore offers, I do have things to do.cook ,clean,laundry

Every day I like this new setup more. Yesterday I was able to obtain an object I have been wanting by trading something of equal value with the other person who wanted what I had - 2 happy people who used the TRADES correctly and not to make a huge profit! Also, here is another example of why the new setup is excellent. We all know that the Costume Trunks can usually go for about 5 million when people price them fairly. Well, somebody has 1 item from a particular Trunk in his/her shop for 25 million. Now that is not only stupid and shameless but the perfect example of GREED. On the Trades they may have gotten it if someone was desperate enough for the item and there were not many available. However, now they won't - people will shop and get it at a much more reasonable and fair price. This site is to relax and have fun on, not to exhibit just how GREEDY we can be!
Is Keith or any of the Staff even aware of the Shop Search insanity that's happening today? I cannot find any posts in the Forums about it. Unfortunately, I'm unable to post in the forum due to an incompatibility with my Netscape browser. I can't believe Subeta would change the Shop Search over to the same format that Neopets uses. I absolutely detested the Shop Wizard at Neo...
and neopets limits how many times you can search too. I hate that. I can never price more than one page at a time. Grr, which is why I hardly go there too.
plz dont take a page from neopets book with the shop search. we love the way shop search worked before. I dont think anyone ever complained about it that I am aware of?on bended knee here plz plz no neopets shop search likeness hopes beyond hope that this is only a glitch....

Everything else I can agree with...though I am a little disappointed you guys didn't just reset all the prices in the shops...I would've rather kept my elixirs and sold them at the new price.
I was pleased with the 50,000,000 increase.
However....one of the main things I REALLY liked about this site was the fact it was not like Neopets, and made us refresh manually to hopefully get a better deal. In fact, I despised neopets for that. Though, I believe their paid users can use the shop wizard without be effecting by that.
That...really frustrates and disgusts me. It was one of the main reasons I switched to Subeta in the first place....
I hope everything stays BESIDES the shop search being like Neopets...that's just shakes head

However, I dislike the new shop search function.
That was one of the best things about Subeta and one of the things that I disliked greatly about Neopets:
The fact that I had to refresh and look for an item at it's lowest.
Not to mention, Subeta has that "Slow Down" thing, so it isn't easy. My fingers are too quick. lol. O-O
Hm. As for the new changes to the shop limit; they don't affect me right now, so I'll have to see where it goes before I start posting opinions on that.
But change is inevitable, I suppose.
You guys have always made wise decisions, and listened to members' opinions regarding such changes.
So I trust you are doing what you believe is best for the site in the long-run. ^-^

Wow with all this changes , I can tell that for all of those that have WEAPONS do not sell right now. we will have a war for experience I can tell that mr. Bush. errr Mr. Keith is going to go and look for some weapons of mass destruction and we will have a war. Another way for all of us that want to participate , to go crazy sell all the crap and get weapons to get some really cool wearables , I know that those who have Weapons for sell are going to be richer ( like mr. bush friends that got all the contracts to rebuild what our bombs destroyed) lol.
I can see where the economy is going and the site as well .
Next thing you know we are going to have Euros.... or the way the money is going are going to be Pesos.
So exited I can't wait to see pets falling from tall buildings at Centropolis.

I'm really sad.. I just noticed the new (secret) shop search change, and I hates it. I never used to shop on Neopets because it was such a nightmare, and now Subeta is doing the same thing.
I am perfectly happy with a page that takes ages to scroll to the bottom of when an item is cheap and common. I'd rather be able to gauge how prices have changed than have a neat little selection of 20 or so choices. And I hate hate hate that the cheapest isn't necessarily the first. Please don't leave it like this

Yeah, I hope its just a glitch with the shop search right now, and not a permanent change.
I also noticed that if you try to look up most of the CS items, nothing shows up in the search. It's not that there are none priced because it doesn't give that message, it just doesn't pull up any results.
If this is intentional, I think I like it. Sure it makes buying the CS items a little harder since you'll a have to do it through trades, but I do think it will help with the stabilizing of the prices of them.
I'm actually more concerned about the Shop Search page - it seems to be acting up - sometimes the lowest price is say 3000, then you refresh to buy another one and there are now over 10 of them priced less than 2500 - and it continues that way - I don't think that many users are listing that many of the same item at the same time - please don't change it to the 'neopet' way - it was so not good (stank to put it bluntly)

I have been glad to repeat trade with someone who is clear and concise in their terms, instead of being shady and pretending they have fake 'other' offers, and when I don't fall for that - I watch their item sit in trades for yet another month...snickers

How long should one wait for a response, indefinitely? IMO a week is certainly long enough, especially when it is obvious they've been online daily and still ignore all forms of contact.

It's not only you. It's happening to me, as well. I hate it... I sure hope this is just a glitch and not a change. I hated Neopets' shop wizard. Now the search function on Subeta is acting in the same manner...

I do like the 1mil autopricer limit though. That's about where I'd want it to be so I'm all for this change. 
I like this new system. Sure, some of the things my husband spent millions buying for me will probably go down and be worth alot less now but then again so will some of the things on my wishlist. As far as I'm concerned it will all even out after a time. My husband and I for one will continue to support the site via the cash shop because we (I) love the shiny things in the boxes.

I dunno about Keith, but I'd be pretty irritable right now if this was the kind of response I'd gotten from whoknowshowmuch hard work pumped into the implementation of a new idea (which, by the way, was created solely to benefit the whole of Subeta).
Which brings me to my next point. These updates and changes aren't being made for the staff. The staff are there to administrate the site for who, now? Yes, that's right. The users.
That means you and I.
I'd think twice about that point before bringing anger into the picture. If you have valid concerns, please voice them, by all means. But don't get an attitude, please. All you're likely to do is get shut down, frozen, or at the VERY least, a negative reaction.
They are trying to HELP us. Let's allow them that chance, shall we?
I love this. I hate dealing with trades. Mainly because I am tired of see " idk just offer". Then of course you offer, it sits there for three days with no response and finally they reject it (if they respond at all).

Threats never work.
You people who are trying to use threats ie: "I'll have to find somewhere else to go" "I won't be spending any of my money in the cash shop now" need to realize that threats aren't going to get you anywhere.
If you think you'll be happy somewhere else then by all means don't let the door hit you on the way out. Just remember to drop all your stuff off in the donation center first.
If your not going to buy things out of the cash shop then don't, others will.
You also have some people who won't use the new system but give it a chance, this is only day 2 and most users most likely haven't noticed it yet.
I'm not seeing undercutting. I'm see people who are abusing this. I think you forgot a time matters involved with trades. Items in trades don't change price too much because they aren't a quick click item. Now no one has to wait thus items don't have a chance to get to their rightful prices. I could get the first of an item and price it for 30mil and it may never make it to even 20mil if people price right. I don't see how that's fair to anyone.

People do not know how to price on here. I don't see why such a free reign was given. I think 15mil max is fine.
Is this actually supposed to be working? The autopricer finding things priced up to 1mil? Cause I just tried to price a Life Mage Amulet, and it didnt find it, so I went to manually price it, and it is only 340k at the lowest price...

When it comes to searching for something, don't go the full name use up to the '&' sign and it will come up.
As for the 50 mill change I'm seeing the under cutters hacking away already. But as a step against it, once those sell, eventually mine will too so I didn't change the prices, mostly because there where only 3-4 on the search currently. So we'll just have to see how this plays out.
I think slowly implementing this change was smart, first off.
Second off, after a bit things will stabilize. It did last time this change happened.
Thirdly, I am sooooo glad this change has come. trades wont be so cluttered and will be for actually oh ummm trading items..gee what a concept.
Lastly, as an adult player I am challenged just fine by this site. Not too little, and not so much I feel hopeless about my goals. With so many fabulous items being released each month I think I (we) will always be challenged to get items.
I think the economy is carefully considered on this site. I don't always agree, but I do have a little faith, if things don't work out, change will come.

I personally think the new changes are great and they certainly will not have a diverse effect on the Trades or anything else.. It is fairly simple - giving or exchanging something for something else is TRADING and thus refers to TRADES. Spending sp to get something is referred to as BUYING and should refer to SHOPS. Now, just how simple is that. I really don't see how anybody can argue with it - some people just love to gripe!!!!!
The thing I hate most about this is that those of us with opinions who voice them with valid complaints, NOT attacking the staff are getting lumped in with the users who just scream THIS IS STUPID bla bl bla and turn this topic into a fighting match.
The staff may support this idea, and have valid reasons for doing so, but that doesn't mean that those of us who oppose it don't have valid reasons as well.
And my point was never OMG you are killing my profit as much as it is what is the point of a game, if everything is handed to you on a silver platter.
This has always been one of the easiest pet sites to make money on to begin with, now it's the easiest site to attain your goals on as well, I don't know about you, but I don't play unchallenging games.
By the end of this week if this stays like this I will have nothing on my wishlist, a vault full of cash and NOTHING TO DO here. hmmmm wanders over to google search to find new place to play

What about items that are unsearchable, such as Hydrus Lantern of Death and Shinwas Holy Lance. It says 'This item does not exist, please be more specific.' when you try to search usershops for them. Any plan to fix this anytime soon?

I think all of these shop changes are EXCELLENT! I too think the Trades should be completely reset and start over.
Some prices will go up and others will go down, but it will be a healthy competition.
Bravo Sebastian and Subeta Team for giving this a try.
some of the items coming out of trades and into shops actually increased this am. ex. "jar of dirt"
I have no problem with the new system. I put my Saggitarius Blade in the trades many times. I asked 60 million, going price. Never an offer. I see no problem putting it in my shop for 50 million. It will either sell or just sit there.
I've tried to sell my Eternal in the TP for 30 Million many times. Never an offer on it either. I see its going for 19 Million in user shops now. I chose to put mine up for now because the lowest is 19 Million and i'm in no hurry to sell.
If someone don't like the prices in the shops, just put your item in your vault or gallery until prices go up or it will become a nice gallery item.
