The next part of the plan layed out by Sebastian Phoenix was to allow the autopricing citizens of Subeta find items up to 1,000,000sP.
The Senate would like to remind you that this and the change last night are possibly temporary changes.
fake shops? I think those are the frozen ones and they don't count for the auto pricer or I don't think they do.
unless there are some other fake shops around ![]()
Im sorry but It seems that all you guys are voicing your opinions and ONLY your opinions count? I am a user as well and Im sorry you feel That i should keep my mouth shut BUT ITS MY OPINION everyone is titled to their own ... Yours is just different
This new system may help, but everyone should use the autopricer with caution. I carefully look at all the prices before I click the button because of mistakes & all the fake shops with false prices that have appeared lately. But if this works out it will be nice, thanks!
I find this better because there are so many people complaining about how they're trades are offered on then the offer is taken away because they don't react fast enough. Now they don't need to be online!
Some reason if buying cash shop items is to resell them to make easy sP, so there would be still some reason to buy them from cash shop. That and saving them would also benefit you... Sadly I can't buy from cash shop anymore so I can't say much on this one.
And, if you don't think your money is going to something good, then don't spend it, and keep your mouth shut because it's just plain rude to say those things- it's your own problem if you think that. I think all the downtime is doing well for the site, I have noticed it getting faster and a lot better and any problems with the site I see are cleared up after maybe a week (mostly the blatant problems, but still, that's pretty quick)
The money you spend goes to paying for servers, for the staff, and for other things that keep this site going. If everyone stops paying then there won't even be a site to go to, but we can't fully blame this on the way the shops change... I believe we should blame our own selfishness? We complained and whined enough about the trades so I think we're only getting what we asked for.
Autopricing: I didn't usually use it even when I had a GA all the time. Even disregarding the intentional undercutters, it's the accidental episode that bites.
I was browsing for an item recently, knew I could eventually rs it so just kept checking the price for the heck of it. Suddenly there were a bunch for about 1K--I looked down the list, and there was the culprit: someone had missed a zero at the 'normal' price, and all the little autopricers had followed right along!
I imagine it is very hard. I thought about it once and decided right away that I would have no clue where to start. I think the subeta team does a great job even if I complain once in a while mostly when I lose the trivia
but then I move on.
Lol, so many people claiming this will end the economy XD;
I will say this for you Keith and your staff. Good job your doing and continue to do. ![]()
~
No one who has never ran a website like Subeta can even fathom what it takes to do so. So people, stop complaining. -hides-
I think I've spent like... 50$ over the last few days here. And you know what? I'm extremely happy with everything I got. Including the hardworking staff that gets paid with the money I spend. I've heard nothing but good news, and the staff trying their best to help us with all of the things that could possibly go wrong recently.
Oh I covet all cash shop items, they are all soooo shiney, I just wish my pockets money lasted that little bit longer lol for all the wonderful new shineys you surprise us with for the cash shop after DP releases. lol ![]()
More, Imeant ;P
okay one more comment... again pokes at my gold..
I have seen my money go to good use.. and I havent seen any lag time lately.. Me and my HA have been very very happy.. ( I go gold for her)
I agree. I love the items in the boxes and things. If I had money real money, I'd buy the boxes and the clothes
I like pretty things.
I always buy donation presents because I like what's inside, or I have a friend who does. Sure, they can make you money... but what do you want to spend that money on? More items, right? XD More minions and plushies and all that... just like what's inside the box in the first place.
I think they've fixed many things on the site. ;P The garden works, but I'm easy to please.
mostly.

Well it doesn't seem like my money has been going to fixing issues on the site so that defiantly wasn't my goal for giving you my money

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">I think it's the people without the auto-pricer who cause it. Like, yea I know. People drop the price by about 5 mil on some things like it's nobody's business. But guess what. If they just hit the 'autoprice' button, it wouldn't have dropped that 5 mil, now would it?
The problem is if someone drops it 5mil... then someone autoprices it at that dropped rate. There enlies your deflation.

I don't want people to spend money on things they don't think are worth it
I'm not trying to steal the money out of your pockets, or talk you into thinking it's a good idea.
If you want the items (or the value that comes with them), you'll buy them.
I'll still buy from the cash shop but I don't use those things to make points. I buy them to put in my gallery to open next year as a present to myself ![]()

You know... I don't think the autopricer is necessarily the problem that happens with deflation. (And to be honest, I'm a fan of deflation. There's too much money, and too many expensive things as is. I miss the good ol' times when things were priced reasonably instead of in the millions.)

If you don't feel like it's worth it, don't spend it.
The autopricing, I don't know how I feel about that one since I don't use it, but the prices, it forces people to put prices on items, instead of just hoping the buyer will overpay, and frustrating users... And it sorta fixes the sudden something is worth 30m just because no one had it priced when they put one in trades (even if it had been selling for only 5m the days before) which is where a lot of the inflation came from. I rarely bought/sold anything, or bothered much with restocking before this for some time because prices were so insane, or trades so frustrating/stagnant. If I couldn't RS it myself, I simply didn't get it. So many of us have a bad taste for trades, this is refreshing.
Finally.
Then hand price your items.. poor people like me can have dream items they would never get from trades for that one undercutter..
you have your point and me mine, they both are good ones.. I am off to work.. who knows maybe I will come home and a caged cricket will be for sale! ![]()
Have a great day guys

Well I for one wont be spending anymore money in the cash shop if $5 is only going to get me 2m sp
The beauty of trades is that undercutters cannot be online all the time to accept your offers, and other sellers do not have to meet their prices, if someone wants a deal that badly they can wait for the undercutter to come online.
Now with undercutters in shops, there is NO WAITING for them to come online. essentially deflating items like mad, coupling in people who don't/ can't use trades thinking those new shop prices are valid, and inpatient sellers meeting the shop prices or going below it, we now have a problem.
Chibi Sheeta Plushie 3,5m on usershops
next one undercuts with 1,4m... nice start, I think I'll wait a day and buy it for around 500k then? =(
And other items that are going for 500k in trades are priced with 10m in usershops, if the trades are getting deleted, the prices will all mess up.
I mean would the Panda animal beanie or Shingami be so coveted if the cost 5 mil? well looks like we will probably find out soon enough.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't covet things because they cost lots more than I can barely afford. I covet them because they're cute and I like to look at them ;P
I would LOVE to own my wishlist in a week, trust me I could add much more too it!
Well I for one wont be spending anymore money in the cash shop if $5 is only going to get me 2m sp
I don't really see that happening... personally?
I mean, the items you named are ... well. Still a lot. Nothing most people could earn in a week, or even a month.
Considering the average user is somewhere around 200,000sP at the moment... I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Guys no one is making you list a price lower than other shops.. if you feel a item is worth it then leave it.. some people DO like to bargain hunt.. trades dont stop us bargain hunters.. I usually only will use trades with items anyway.. its more fun,
and as for the buying a trunk.. it point of buying with cash is to make subie money, so if the item is up for sale.. it still made the site money regardless of who's money it is.. and then it give the person selling sp.. its possible that seller doesnt have the time to rs or do quests, because they work and have families etc.. and thats a quick way for them to make sps.. its something that I have considered doing lately.
No one forces anyone to buy or sell anything or even trade them at any prices.. its up to the player to decide.. and autopricer should always be seconded guessed.. sometimes ONE undercutter can mess the system up big time.. esp lately with some many shops not.. well being found, but still selling..

; border: 1px solid ; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10;">Have you sold any/all of those items personally? I mean, I'm happy to go through the trades and see how those items have been selling for you - but I don't think that a lot of items have been selling as well as you'd like to think (or have been traded for items that are worth equal or less )
I just bought a bunch of 1k tokens for 900k so yes they did go down ....
shuddering Great, the economy is going to crash and burn...and our items will all be worthless junk. Great idea. shakes head Good thing I have tons of vault space...
Taking two things into account: If the prices are dramatically undercut, and the changes may be temporary.. Wouldn't that give a bit more incentive to buy from other people in the hopes that if the system goes back to normal then you could possibly resell the item at it's normal price again? Just a little thought. Then again, I don't know much about selling high-priced items. Heh.

Lovely. SO now all the trades have been canceled we can't even find a relative price to base our shop prices on. Good call.
Ok Keith in the last 5 min. Panda animal beanie has been undercut by 10 mil being put in shops, and then someone priced theirs another 5 mil under that in the last few seconds
1000 point wizard tokens will be DRAMTICALLY under 1 mil within the next hour
Saggitarius Blade WHICH HAS BEEN selling at 60-70 mil has now hit shop search at 50 mil, just a matter of time before that deflates to a price to make owners cry
April 2008 Donation Present is now at 1.5 mil, I definitely will not be buying DPs next month if thats the resale value
I hope you keep it this way.. I think its SO fair and will make buying AND trading so much much more fun, sometimes to me haggling seems like begging, and so many times I have asked a few people offline about a price, have someone online who will haggle somewhat but is still being a BUTT about it... in desperation usually having a outfit in mind, I buckle.. meet the butts price only to get a comment right after the trade off someone who was offline is now online and wants to BEAT the other price by alot..
I hope that made since..
Can you give me examples of some of the items? :/
well I am watching some of my most coveted items hit the shop search with results
makes me not even wanna work for stuff I want anymore, why bother, I will just wait for them to deflate.
Kinda takes the fun out of the game, well for me at least, I mean what do we have to work for?
I mean would the Panda animal beanie or Shingami be so coveted if the cost 5 mil? well looks like we will probably find out soon enough.
eh I am done now, but I am not adding to the deflation by putting my stuff in shops, I have patience, don't need the sP anyways. Good luck with this.
Then sellers should have more patience. ![]()
I've been trying this new 50m limit and its okay though I've noticed alot of undercutting already in shop searches, so could pose a problem.
Hope nobody misprices by mistake, that would be horrid to find your 5mill item was snapped up for 500k due to a missing 0 :/
Not that I have done that yet luckily.
Dx I like this even less than the little thing he pulled last night. This is not good. Not at all.
