The art on the revamps is beautiful. The only thing is, it's just not as painfully cute. The big tail and big hind legs, it's little face almost snuggling against it's forepaws, now that's just cute.

people. the first revamp was given a commenting spot like this so they could make changes and you still dont like it. its beautiful and the eyes are love.

I'm very, very disappointed. Most of the things that people had to say about the first revamp were not changed here. At first, I thought this was the same pet. There are still too many spots, the forehead is still huge, and the tail... well. I think the tail looks INCREDIBLY odd now, very round and oddly shaped. The muzzle is still very, very squished - very narrow and not placed well on the face. There's no denying the art is good ,but it's just not fitting for this pet, and there are still many problems with it.

Looking at the polls it seems the opinions are "almost" evenly split with 1k and change in each so far. I see No huge huge winner at the moment even though the newest is the pure count winner but that still leaves 1k and change for and 2k and change against the newest revamp. Personally I wish there was a none of the above option. Sorry to say. =( I love just about all the pet art here except for the otter. It seems to be awkward still. Maybe he needs a completely new positioning and the proportions redone some because people are obviously not hitting an OMG that is it! that's perfect!

Even though the quality of the new otter is better, I still feel it's lacking the overall expression of the old one... and the forehead on the new revamp is a bit big ^^;

I still voted for the original design :/ I would not want my Otter to look like these ones. While I do think the art is done to a high standard on both revamps, they seem to miss the whole look of the original. The paws aren't just at its side on its belly, the original appears to be hiding behind them slightly, looks ever so shy and timid. The expression is not right either. Also, the head seems a little off on the new revamp.

I'm just a little sad that the revamps don't capture the original charm of the Otter, that cute shy look that I was drawn to. Hopefully someone will crack it soon :3

I agree with the opinion that "Otter" is the better name. "Ontra" sounds quite... ... yeah... not so good. Not kidding. Such a bad name T_T" Makes me want to hit the wall with my head if I think about it too long... Ok, the new revamp, I think, is very, well, messed up...? The face and head shape are not anatomy-wise correct and the fur and spots are not as appealing as the other revamp. The original is fine because it characterizes the Otter's playfullness. And PLEASE don't change the name to "Ontra", or whatever, because Otter has always been fine. ^^'''

I voted for the old Otter too. I like the body on the new revamp, but they face just looks too mature and I really do not like the spots on the face.

What is Ontra? Is it the person who drew the Otter?

There's something that I really do not like about the new otter - I mean ontras. They just don't look right to me... of course it's better than I could ever do, but I chose to adopt an otter - ontra - because they looked so good originally. I don't think they needed a revamp =/ But that's just me.

it's better than the old revamp, but i still don't like it. the fin on it's tail looks too small and the muzzle is too... long/thin. why can't it look like the library-otter(!)? it looks so cute :/ and i don't like the way almost all new pets look at the upper right/left corner of the picture. it's as if they want to say 'hey, look how cute i am!!1one!!'.

And, the face looks too mature as many others say... And that it is renamed to Ontra makes it worse, the old name otter is much better cause it makes it cuter, I dont know why but it sound cuter than Ontra... I prefer the innocent Otter before the mature Ontra...

I like this one better, bt I still like the old otter better... The anatomy is greater than the first revamp, but I dont like all the spots, its fine with spots only on the tail. and, this time the tail-tips looks to chubby and short... The position of the tail is much better, but it still looks a little stiff... the hind foots looks too lumpy and big. And I still do not like that it has whiskers... makes it look like something else. I vote for the oldest version before any revamption... and the fluff on its chest pouts out too much, and the nose is too "houndish" and too big. No, I like the old one better...

I must say that I like this revamp much better than the first one. It looks wonderful artistically, and I'm glad the chest fur was fixed. (It was kind of awkward before.)

My one complaint, as others have mentioned, is the face. It looks too "mature" compared to the original Otter/Ontra. I think the innocent face was what made the original so adorable in the first place. (And the shading and fluff on the left cheek bother me, but it could just be the angle.)

Aww, dude, come on! This one looks awesome! I like how you fixed the feet and the tail is now on an angle, but the head! Why'd ya change the head? You should have left it fluffy like the last revamp. That made it look more cuter. :

Eh, I've never been fond of the Otter, .. and the revamp is okay .. but still .. I wouldn't want one. The second revamp does look better than the first, but it's still missing something, I don't know what. And for the love of God, don't name it Ontra. That sounds just like the Montre.

I never really liked the original ontra, but now I'm changing my mind. This one looks so much better. I did like the large tail on the first redraw, but I think that the chest fur looks SO much better on this one. -votes second redraw-

First, I must say that the art is lovely. And I think it looks better than the other revmp! But, it is still nowhere near as cute as the original -- as others have mentioned, this otter (or ontra!) looks much older and lacks the innocent, wide-eyed look. It is like an entirely different pet almost! I'd suggest maybe slightly larger/wider eyes, and a mouth that is a bit smaller and not so neutral in expression. And maybe a larger head/smaller body would help with the cuteness factor? Again, no insult to the artists is intended -- the art itself is lovely, just SO different than the original!

Well I think they want to 'grow' the Otter up, thats why it doesn't look like a baby-ish any more

Funny they make grown up-ish pets look young and young pets look older xD

I can see why it sucks for people who got their pets based on how young or old it looked

I like this revamp. I like how they made the tail smaller. The only problem I have with this is the head. If the head could be changed a bit, I think it would look great.

The newest one looks great, way better then the oldest for sure, and the little oddities (like the odd chest fur) fixed from the second. ^^

Okay... I really don't feel there needs to be a revamp of one of the more popular of the pets (in my opinion). I like the original otter (sorry that is what it always will be). I like the child like whimsical quality of it. The surprised expression and flow of the tail to body. There is a wide-eyed innocence there. The newer visions are well done artistically. There are things that I like and don't like about both. The original revamp I like the longer hair and shadow on the face. I like the furry quality of it. On the new revamp I like the flow of the body better. I don't like the fact that there is a small muzzle on a broad muzzled animal. I like the eye color on both of them, but that is a blue thing for me. I generally overall think that you aged the otter too much, it has lost the whimsical quality I fell in love with. I like the original version... really really really like the original version. It makes me sad to see so many revamps and not necessarily for the better.

I like this one. =3 I like it about the same as the old one, but I voted for the newer one for one very, very stupid (but awesome to me) reason: The spots on its arms, legs, tail, and face remind me of the spots on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. -obsessed- 83;;;;

Personally, I liked the name otter much better, and definitely liked the first version.

I'm not thrilled with most of the newer revamps. They take away the 'cuteness' of the pets that first drew me to wajas.

Oh well. Guess I'll just be ignored, as usual.

I tried clearing my cache and cookies because I thought the new revamp looked identical to the old one, but then I realized that not a damn thing's changed except, very slightly, the position of the tail flukes. Oh, and the fur on the back of the head.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't know why this is being bothered with, since it doesn't make a bit of difference, guys. (THE BALLS ARE INERT)
