Whoa, okay. If anyone out there is contemplating sending hate mail, stop right there. 1) That is incredibly rude because Keshi (the artist) has worked her butt off on the revamp and deserves to be respected whether or not you like the final product she created. 2) Harassment/hate mails are against the terms and conditions of Subeta. 3) I will hunt you down and make you sorry :O!. It's perfectly fine to dislike the revamp, but it is beyond rude to send purposefully hurtful mail bashing the artist.

Honestly I think that this pet should be left with its original incarnation. Personally I hate the name change to "Ontra" what is wrong with Otter? I think there are some characteristics of the second revamp for the otter that look good. Honestly I would like to see the muzzle to be even broader, if it is going to be somewhat based on a real animal Otters have as short broad muzzle not a dainty one. To me it feels like a round headed ferret or should I say pherret?

In the second revamp I like the body and the size of the otter's muzzle, though it still should be broader, in the original revamp I like the head shape, despite the forehead being to too tall and the eyes. I think that the first revamp's coloration is more suiting. I think the fluke on the first revamp is better suiting but I like the flow and lack of too much fluff on the second revamp. I find the second revamps composition to be much nicer then the first revamp. And I like the spotting pattern on the second revamp instead of the first but unfortunately I must vote for the original.

I think that this pet has a lot of potential and I am not saying this because the artist who redrew this particular animal is not talented. I find the work to be very well done, but to me it seems very ill suited. So I do apologize if I sound rude.

I like the older revamp more... the new revamp seems to be missing some skull, and that bugs the crap out of me.

I think they probably could have thought up a better name like...Otru...Yea I'm brain dead.Ignore that xD I like this one better then the first revamp. The shading if a little more softer, and the tail is positioned better and the eyes are cuter n_n

I don't know anything about "proper" shading... so I'll probably get yelled at for saying this... but it looks strange to me... that it seems like someone is pointing a spotlight at it's forehead. Every time I look at it, that's what catches my eye.

Overall though I think it's very cute! I never liked the old otter because it has such a vacant look, no neck, tail coming out of it's middle back, etc. The redraw gives it character and better form. The new name though... ehhh, not so much.

honestly I like either of the revamps, but I think them unnecessary if other pets are getting revamped.

Oh this was a hard poll. I like the newest revamp's legs and tail, but like the colouring, arms and head from the original revamp. :/

I like the origional pet ;-; I was thinking about getting an otter, er, 'ontra', but if it gets revamped then I wouldn't really want it. I love the eyes on the new one, and the shading, but overall I like the origional the best. If there were ANY pet that did not need a revamp, it would be otter (along with kerubi, too~nya!). but the results look like otter will be revamped and I know my friend Hannah (Reeweta) will be, like, practically heartbroken because she liked the origional alot, and she only has 2 pets - both are otters. I don't really like the new name - Ontra? Sounds like Montre just a bit to me ;_; Sorry if I sound rube or corny or whatever, but, Bleh. I never really minded any of the revamps other than dragon, but I didn't realy like the dragons in the first place so that was fine. But now otter, I'll really dislike the revamp. when I get Matt to sign up he'll go to make his pet and II'll point and say That used to be a cute, fuzzy little otter, now its and ontra. Once again sorry if I sound complaintative, rude, corny, snotty, whatever. I'm just expressing my self and how I feel about this possible revamp. All in all, what I'm trying to say here is: Please dont revamp the Otter!!!!!!!!

Hmm hard to chose, the old revamp has some characteristics are are better than the new revamp, like the fur on the head is better in the old revamp, but the tail is better in the new revamp

The name was changed to indicate that this is a Subeta-species, and not a drawing of the otter that exists on Earth.

its lovely. its lineart is nice and the eyes are gorgeous. but why did we have to change the name? im glad we did though. Ontra is way more origonal and it sounds kinda musical.

This looks like a cleaned-up version of the old revamp. I just hope that the chosen picture is either the oldest picture or the newest picture.

._. I really don't think the otters need a revamp, i LOVE the way my OTTER is, just the way she is. That, and I hate the name ontra. The head and muzzle don't look right, and make the otter lose everything about it that was once cute. Also, none of the paw pads are showing, which takes it down even lower on the cute meeter. and lastly, the tail still looks too thin/small.

If you're going to try and do a re-vamp to the loveable otter, at least make it look like this: I think a revamp that looked like the potion would get a lot of votes. That, and I wouldn't be sad over my pet changing into something bleh. You don't want me to be sad, do you? But, knowing that no matter what I say, the re-vamp is still going to look like.. yeah. I guess I need to make plans to turn my pet into something completely different.. looks at dusk otter item collection and wails

The head and feet are all wrong to me, respectively said. Its sad the pads of the feet aren't shown as they are so cute that way on the original. I also like the nice, round head without such a gigantor muzzle on the original.

The forehead still seems a bit too wide to me.. I don't think the top of the head is fluffy enough to offset that. And why can't we see any cute Otter pawpads? Last complaint.. What's up with the Ontra thing? The Kanis thing took getting use to, but Ontra.. It's unneeded and frankly dosen't sound that good. Keep the Otter name! One thing I like is the slightly darker color. Looks a bit better.

Oh it's cute! Though it still bugs me that it doesn't have ears. Without a small indication of ears the Ontra's head looks really strange.

I love the body of the new revamp. I think you should combine the new revamps body with the orginal's revamps head. That would look great.

I really preferred when it was called the otter. Gave me, kind of, an idea of its cutesy nature, you know? Ontra sounds too...odd :X

I mean, the Dragon is an awesome pet, and it has an animal name. Can we keep the original name please?

The name change is so that no one expects Subeta's otter to look like a real world otter. This makes it more our creature.

I still like the old Otter/Ontra best. The 2 redraws makes it look kind of.. old, compared to the cuter version. XD I guess I prefer this redraw to the first though.
