Now this one looks much better than the previous revamp. No more crazed hair on the head, and the chest hair has been fixed. And the face still retains some of the look of the old otter while still being new. Two thumbs up to the artists!

What's wrong with the original "Ontra?" I think it has a friendlier, more appealing (and "cuddlier&quot, look than either of the revamps.

Oh, and the spotting, the freckles are much more defined and purposely placed here than the first revamp. I like that better too ^^

I think the new name is too similar to the Montre, I liked an earlier suggestion of Oddir. The new body is great, nice shape, color and fur placement. I still like the old tail size and general shape, although it's nice to see it coming out of the base of the spine now instead of the middle of the back. Enlarge the tail flukes a bit and I think I'd be satisfied with it.

I have to agree with Rah, the body of this revamp is better but the head/face of the first revamp is much better than this one. I also wish there was some tail 'fluff' pn this one like there was on the first revamp.

i liked the skull of the first redraw a bit better. but voted the newes now!
tail, spots and chest where realy done great! ^^
and the belly looks no longer wierd with the fluff on the hindleg/belly enge gonde...

While the new revamp is certainly an improvement over the last one, I still prefer the old one. Here's why:

The nose is to jutty-outty. The old, quashed nose was cuter and something that sort of defined the subeta otter.
The expression had personality before, now it seems to generic. I feel that in the revamps, the pets are losing personality.
The posing of both the front and back legs seems less comfortable and is definately less cute.
The forehead is way too big.
The eyebrows are too defined.
This goes with the whole expression thing, but the eyes are posed in a much too generically cute way.

The new revamp is more proportionate than the first revamp. If you add the fluff to new revamp on the front leg (elbow) and the long part of the tail like in the first revamp. Other than that, it looks great. I'm voting for the new revamp.

I think that the new revamp is the better drawing, but I chose the original revamp because he looks more furry. Anyway you can make the new revamp furrier?

I like the new revamp's shading and coloring. The only thing I don't like about either of the revamps is the face. Overall, while the original didn't have much depth, it was much cuter. Still, a splendid job was done.

The tail is much better as far as spots go but it's angle makes it look smaller ^^;

And the forhead is smaller now thats good the body isn't as long now! YAY! That other one was looking like a snake it's body was so long! I voted for this one..I still think it's nose is too big xD and I'm going to miss the baby look to them, seem like they're going to change the Otters no matter what.

this one is better then the last, but it's still not good for me. now the tail is too small, the forehead is still too big, the way the back arches up still looks stiff and unnatural too me, the front legs look pasted on, and the face is just NOT a Subeta Otter face.

can't we make them more like the Spectrum Otter???

and why change the name??? i'm happy with my Otter the way he is. please don't make me change another pet. weeps for her lost Dragon

The chest fluff is much better, and the tail looks great, like it will really work! I like the head on the first revamp better, with the extra fur on the top of his head. This one is just a touch too round. But it's better, great job Not as cute as the original, but the body shapes are definitely better here.

The tail is still so tinyyyy. ::stretches it out:: I also think the face of the head is a bit odd. I think the right side comes in too much? It's not round enough. Chest ruff is better, still seems to be sticking out a little oddly to me, but that could just be me. Hm. I have to study them a bit more before casting my vote.

voted old original pet, although i cant decide which one i like fewest, hate 'em all but i think the owners want to keep their beloved pets the way they are. i find the name change miserable, its just like "ooohhh, otter means, well, just otter, thats SOOO unprofessional, letz change it!!11!" feh...

I liked the head of the original one better as well, but the tail looks nicer here. I still think the forelegs are odd though, since they're all the same thickness and don't seem to have actual joints in them. o-O Neither did the original, but I think some gentle angles (perhaps downward a little, as if the paw is slightly bent towards the body) where the paws start would look better.

Oooooh, name change. Cool, cool. I really like the changes that were made between the two revamps. Though I like the face (not head) of the other revamp... the body and fuzzy level is great on this! Two thumbs up!

The forehead is wayyy too huge, by the way. I like the tail, body, and head of the origanal one. o0;;
