Wish I could edit comments here so I could add more - but I do mean to say, I love this, and it's my new favorite Hydrus pet. Hydrus pets are seldom ever cute, and I'm not a fan of most of them, but I am of this one. This poor blob, brainwashed to be a mindless, murderous minion of the evil sea witch - and yet he's just a sand dollar, so all he can do is just sit there and be cute with his hypnotized eyes. He almost looks kinda sad to me, like he wants to be snapped out of it. "HELP ME, I'M BEING CONTROLLED BY MERANA!" You just wanna save him. Aww.

I wondered how you could make a Hydrus blob, The first thing I thought of was a brown blob with the usual Hydrus fixings of spikes, angry blue eyes, fins, barnacles, seaweed, Hydrus markings, and bared teeth - even though Blobs don't have mouths! Making it a sand dollar makes perfect sense to fit the Blob theme of taking a new shape with each color, often resembling something related to the color (such as a red blood cell for Bloodred or a pile of rocks for Arid) - though that might just mean the Hydrus Blob is the least evil of all of Merana's minions. The swirl eyes are a clever idea. If you can't make it look angry, make it look hypnotized. Aren't Hyrdus pets all brainwashed, anyway?

HOW TO MAKE THIS PET: First you need to make or morph a pet into a blob pet in BLOBLAND Now you have a blob and you need to make it hydrus. You can do so by finishing one of MERANA'S QUESTS She might not be home, you might have to check back later. She's pretty strict when it comes to getting her beauty sleep.
