Omg I’m in love!!! It’s so cute!!!

Technically living sand dollars are like black/purple and it’s their dried dead bodies that are this white/cream colour so you could argue that this blob is a zombie! (I’m not critiquing at all!! I just saw a living sand dollar a few years ago and it blew my mind, plus I love to share a bit of knowledge :) )

All this to say... I’m gonna need more blobs.

We've always called them Sand dollars, I guess like a dollar coin? Sand Coin makes so more sense though!

Also, I wouldn't say finding living sand dollars is rare. As a ✨child✨ I found an insane amount just like an inch or two below the sand right at the shore line. I brought them all home. Which was not a fun smell btw. And then we bleached them 🤷‍♀️ I loved them until they got lost in one of the moves. But it honestly blew my mind to find out they were living.
