Yeah, a jelly would have been more "blobby" in my opinion too. I guess that was the too obvious choice. Sand dollars aren't as hard as most people think though. We usually only see their hard endoskeletons on the beach. Seeing a live sand dollar, with velvety spines intact is pretty rare. has posted a gif of a live one a few posts below.

it is really cute and I like the colours ... but the spiral in the eyes reminds me of a really bad symbolism ( - which is also often used in Disney movies and characters -) so I´ll have to pass.
