Quest-a-thon: PRIZES part one

Thank you everyone for participating in this year’s Quest-a-thon! We’ve started giving out the basic prizes and will be working on the prize for the top 100 folks over the next few days.

Just a reminder of what these prizes entail:

Completing at least one quest got you: 1 pet slot, the style hoodie (which you can transform!), 5 referral points, 10 loyalty points, and the Questin' Hard achievement. This achievement gives you the forum title “Questing hard, or hardly questing?” which was the most liked suggestion in a past news post because I forgot to do a poll. SORRY EVERYONE.
Originally, we had planned that if you completed 100 quests you would get the Green Sun Sparkle HA border. Due to some programming issues, we’ve changed it to having quested at least three days (no cap on to how many quests just the fact you did some!). So if you fit that, you get the Green Sun Sparkle HA border.

Note: The event says “total completed” and should say “days of quests completed” for some, it's been updated but the first few to get the event have the old messaging (before we sorted out the green sun sparkle HA border issue)

Second note: We're aware of the issue with the achievement being unlocked, and are looking into it.

What was the official day count for the event? For example, alert said I did 17 days (of which I know I did not miss any) yet I see others posting about 27 days, etc. Was the counter still going after the event ended?

I have the green sun sparkle border, but I see in my HA borders there's a blue sun sparkle border for "Participated in a quest-a-thon" - but it says it's locked for me? How can I unlock it?

Also someone else mentioned it, but why is the additional pet slot in "new slot additions" and not "awards and prizes" ?

I'm just happy my border showed up. I qualified under both the 3+ days and the 100+ quests but somehow I didn't get it at first.

Exactly. I ended up missing one day because I was in pain but I tried so hard for an attempt at the border.

make sure you're logged in on new.subeta.net (easiest way is via the wardrobe) and that should fix it. If it doesn't, submit a ticket and see if the staff can help you figure it out.

Now if only I can access the part where the border is kept.

Ive lost track on how many days its been since Ive been able to do anything. 2 different computers and anything involving the new system and forums won't load. Cookies and cache already cleared several times, added the site to my whitelist, logged out and back in. This is the only place I can write anything :(

I did every single quest during QAT, but I took a break after it... If that prevents my gold sun, I'm gonna pop a gasket at the wasted time.

I went so hard on the quests, kind of disappointed that the prizes would change after the fact, but I was hoping to at least unlock one border but both are locked for me :( at least I got a ton of sP?

I agree though that it's problematic that the requirements were changed so long after QAT. I understand why, but maybe it can be given out manually to people who did all 100 quests in 1 or 2 days?

If people getting credited extra days means I lose out on the gold border, I'm going to be incredibly upset. I have carpal tunnel and doing 100% of every quest, including Sarah, during an entire Quest-a-thon is physically HARD for me. I had to sacrifice pretty much all other games, hobbies, and even activities on Subeta during the QaT in order to be able to get it. Continuing to do so much before or after would be genuinely impossible for me without injuring myself. It was difficult to even make it through! The extension made me so sad haha.

Please, please do not change the requirements for the gold border. Those of us who worked hard to get it should not be disqualified because of yet another programing issue.

In my notification it said I completed 27 days of questing - I’m not sure how that happened (I believe the event was 12 or 13 days?) but I appreciate it!! :)

Still not sure why it took the lowered requirement to award me the border (when the original event confirmed I met the original 3 day criterion) but I got it so whatever I guess.

1 day was the right call since even non-GA could do 100 quests in a day.

The event ran from July 2nd to July 13th, which was 12 days of questing, so if you got 15, you got credit for 2 extra days somehow.
