Good morning, are you ready to move on? As I said, Blake and I have (yawn) worked through the night and I can feel good about letting you enter that room. The next puzzle is ready for you to complete - we figure that we should leave that task to you, as you’ve been trusted with they keys and the puzzles so far.

Boss Info! (will also be on boss page, if you'd prefer not to be spoiled)

Tomorrow, there will be three separate six-hour-long* boss battles. You are welcome to participate in all three and to battle using multiple pets. However, each pet's cumulative damage against only one boss (the one they damaged the most) will count.

These three bosses have identical stats and deal the same amount of damage, and no one boss has any advantage over the others. Start times for each respective battle will be approximately 6pm, 2am, and 10am Subeta time.

Prizes will be awarded based on total damage dealt and also to the best damage-dealers in each tier. The tier-specific prizes for tiers 1-8 and tiers 9-13 are different, and there will be no "double dipping" for the top-in-tier prizes; these will be awarded only to your highest-level participating pet in each tier range. (For example, if you have a tier 1 pet, a tier 9 pet, and a tier 11 pet and all three are among the best damage dealers for their tier, the tier 11 pet and tier 1 pet will be awarded the top prize for their tiers, but the tier 9 pet will not; the prize will go to the next person's pet instead. All other prizes will be awarded to the tier 9 pet as usual.)

*Six hours is simply an estimate, as it's impossible to be precise when predicting overall damage dealt during boss battles. We may tweak the first boss's HP if necessary for timing, but any changes will also be reflected in subsequent bosses. The second and third bosses will not be tweaked and will last as long as they last.

It's reassuring to know they cut off the last two the same way. I stayed up way later than I should to try during the second round to hit my goal (which I thankfully did, though it would've been far nicer to have been able to do it during the first one).

if it makes you feel any better they did the same for the 2am boss :( :( I thought I had time to keep going then it went from 450+ to 20 to dead in a matter of minutes.

Just wanted to take a minute out of battling the second challenger to thank the alert and resourceful Subeta staff who somehow quickly reset the Left Flanking Guardian and restored order. Being able to battle when advertised thanks to your help is much appreciated.

Daaaaaaang that goes quickly!!! I got a few battles in so yay! It's a bummer that it doesn't just stand there and take damage for a set amount of time. :/ If you're not ready right on the minute, good luck!

So...tweaking things if it doesn't get killed during the fight time actually means "we'll yank it out when it still has over half the health, thus wasting the effort of everyone who only has one time slot they can try during and making them start over again when they're trying for a decent tier of prizes since we're only counting the best damage done to one of the three challengers per pet"

6pm- 8am as i start work at 9am i will be driving to work 2am- 4pm I will be driving home but as long as the battle lasts longer than an hour i should get a few battles in 10am- 12am- As i need to start work at 7 the next day and i will be up at 5am to get ready well i will be sleeping and as i have an hour to get sorted and eat before work i wont even have time to do one battle if the battle lasts 5 hours.

On a friday-saturday night subeta time it would work out 8am,4pm saturday and saturday night at midnight. I could probably get all 3 in

Another suggestion would be to move the boss battle to this weekend instead. Tomorrow, I'll most likely arrive home late again. Need to finish a shit ton of exercises... ;w; I didn't expect the boss battle to be so soon to be honest, but maybe it's just me thinking it is soon, idk xD Either way the timing sucks for me, feelsbadman

kiddos bedtime tonight :/ maaaaybe if he's super tired and goes down easy :D 1hr before I usually get up - okay, let's hope I hear my alarm middle of the day when kiddo's at school Yessss

Okay, I feel awesomely lucky on the battle times because I have two maybes and a definitely able. Now if only my pet was super strong and I had great weapons! LOL But who knows? My tier one kicked butt last time and I only did 4 battles - probably because no one bothered with their lower pets. Don't give up guys! Even just one battle can get you prizes! ^_^

Now if I could just get this work done so I could focus on finishing the puzzles and prepping my pets!

I AM a battler and I think adding battle bosses to plots kind of suck. If they are going to add battling it should be more of a challenger or challengers and you beat them as many times as you can to get points and also have other things for the non battlers such as getting points for questing or restocking.

I found this information in the forums and won in 10 minutes of playing!!! Thanks so much for commenting, the entire time I thought all tiles had to add up to 512 what a disaster that was LOL. I feel so silly now :P

Well, my tier 2s might manage to inflict a flea's worth of damage, but we're ready!

Can confirm you just need to get 1 of the tiles with 512 on it then click 'check' to get the key. If it glitched and you did that but it didn't accept, might be worth letting staff know.

Took me hours, but finally got there. Finger crossed for you!

So, I had never played this game before in my life, but had heard about it... and I am not addicted. I spent hours playing it last night, trying to get the max title before sending my score for the puzzle. ;A; Can we please get this back immediately? I've gotten 512 twice but nothing happens. Do you have to have all 16 tiles in play making 512 in order for it to count?

Argg I am going to struggle to be able to battle due to work commitments and being in europe..I spent the last two years training my pet and now I am not able to make use of it waaaaa - the weekend might have been a better option for these battles surely? l Hope the number game will become a regular, it was fun

I think it is better for me not having the boss in the weekend, but everyone has different scedules and unfortunatelly you can never please everyone. Next time it will probably be in a weekend again.

Gelatin Slayer is 60 mil in shops. Blocks 75 dark. Maniacal Essence blocks 90 and is expensive but is well under 900 mil lol. Cronus blocks magma, not earth. If you want an earth blocker, the ornamented hook swords in the mil center block 90 of it and they run for 450 mil. we do need more tier 12 weapons. it makes more sense for them to come from loot drops, like meatslab with the baal or rouland with the MW, than to be sold in a shop.

Ohhhh my god I'm so mad. The site picks the LAST page of dialogue from Kahaleitzli (asking him his name) to give me a 502 error, and of course, when I refresh, I just get the generic "nothing more to learn" message instead of the last piece of that conversation. Can someone tell me what he said?

- Really? Find me a dark blocker for under 900 million. Or an earth blocker, besides Cronus, which I'm 2 battles away from making myself. There are only 4 tier 12 weapons and 3 of them are nearly unobtainable. There's a huge need for more good upper-level weapons, and they shouldn't be limited to the top 75 battlers.

It's not that I hate puzzles, I just hate math tetris. I was glad when I got to 512 after nearly 2 hours of trying. Now let's see if I can be around for one of the boss battles tomorrow...

I was super confused at first, because I got to 512 several times but thought that I had to get EACH square to 512, so I didn't check my puzzle or anything, just kept going until I died. Lol..oh well....

I really hope that this becomes a permanent game - it's my favorite one on the site!
