Good morning, are you ready to move on? As I said, Blake and I have (yawn) worked through the night and I can feel good about letting you enter that room. The next puzzle is ready for you to complete - we figure that we should leave that task to you, as you’ve been trusted with they keys and the puzzles so far.

Boss Info! (will also be on boss page, if you'd prefer not to be spoiled)

Tomorrow, there will be three separate six-hour-long* boss battles. You are welcome to participate in all three and to battle using multiple pets. However, each pet's cumulative damage against only one boss (the one they damaged the most) will count.

These three bosses have identical stats and deal the same amount of damage, and no one boss has any advantage over the others. Start times for each respective battle will be approximately 6pm, 2am, and 10am Subeta time.

Prizes will be awarded based on total damage dealt and also to the best damage-dealers in each tier. The tier-specific prizes for tiers 1-8 and tiers 9-13 are different, and there will be no "double dipping" for the top-in-tier prizes; these will be awarded only to your highest-level participating pet in each tier range. (For example, if you have a tier 1 pet, a tier 9 pet, and a tier 11 pet and all three are among the best damage dealers for their tier, the tier 11 pet and tier 1 pet will be awarded the top prize for their tiers, but the tier 9 pet will not; the prize will go to the next person's pet instead. All other prizes will be awarded to the tier 9 pet as usual.)

*Six hours is simply an estimate, as it's impossible to be precise when predicting overall damage dealt during boss battles. We may tweak the first boss's HP if necessary for timing, but any changes will also be reflected in subsequent bosses. The second and third bosses will not be tweaked and will last as long as they last.

This game is fantastic; really liked it.

I hope there's no useful info in the NPC's chat because their 'banter' makes me tired of life and I've just started skipping over any screen with speech bubbles. If I wanted to read petty bickering, I'd go to the forums.

Start times for each respective battle will be approximately Monday @ 6pm, Tuesday @ 2am, and 10am Subeta time. Means Monday @ 3pm (work) 11pm (sleep) Tuesday @ 7am (going to work) I'll do what I can to sneak on here at work. Who needs sleep, it's overrated!

So this means today, being Monday? Why don't you set up Boss Fights over the weekend, when people have time, while the last 2 days we got nothing to do - and during the weekdays we also had a great bunch of plot work on our hands?!

I would love this puzzle to become a permanent game on the site. I blew a good 3 hours on it, first to solve and then just kept going because it was fun.

there are plenty of decent weapons you can just buy instead of earning already. 'upper level good weapons' should come from battling, not the crystal shop.

Overall, I thought this game was great, and I would like it to stick around after the plot as a daily game. I just wish that the game had a small note that tells you to use the arrow keys, I had to go on the forums and make sure it wasn't glitched. ;) As for the battle times, I really happy that the battle times were given well ahead of time even though they aren't the greatest for me. Bravo to staff for the heads up. I'll show up and do what damage I can, but from the info about prizes I doubt that I will get very much in return. As a veteran of Subeta plots, I know the importance of training/battling for prizes, so I won't whine too much that I've slacked on training.

I've played this game numerous times before and always lost. I got so frustrated with it that I deleted the game off my phone, so when I saw it as the puzzle, I was sure I was going to have to skip the puzzle. But I decided to try at least one time, and guys...I did it! I won this for the first time ever! I'm so excited! :D (Sorry for long post, but I'm ecstatic rn)

I have never played this type of puzzle before but its really fun and challenging! I hope it comes back! I also dont think its a big issue to not have instructions. All of the plot puzzles never do unless they are made by users in the forums. Its supposed to be a challenge right? At least for me after one or two tries I started to get the idea, so for someone who is new to this puzzle type Im sure others can decypher it as well.

Oh, no, yeah, it's definitely fair that people only get the prizes once, but if they got top tier in a different battle, I think they should still get that prize. It'd suck to get that achievement and not get the prize for it. (Only getting that top-tier prize for that battle, none of the other prizes - meaning no duplicates)

idk i think it's fair, it just means people who battle in all three fights with the same pet won't get duplicate prizes for that pet. you can still get prizes for each pet you fight with, it sounds like, but each pet will only be rewarded based on the fight they did the best at.

For once, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that I hate something on this site. I hate this 512 game with a passion that is beyond words. :) Also, the boss times do kind of stink, but eh, not like I can do much damage to them with my pets.

Okay, since we're talking about battling and prizes, when is Subeta planning on releasing some upper level good weapons that I can actually buy? It's great that the top tier damage pets get some amazing prizes, but there needs to be some good weapons released in the millionaire center or the cash shop or the crystal shop that I actually have a chance of getting. As it stands, my pet at tier 12 has zero chance of out-battling the tier 13 pets on this upcoming phase. That's fine. The top folks deserve top prizes. I just want to be able to buy a good weapon. When will some good ones be available to the rest of us peons?

sounds like you will only be rewarded based on the boss that pet deals the most damage on.

Of course I am in a 3 hour class the first one, asleep the 2nd, and in class during the third one. Hopefully the last one wont die too fast so I can get a few shots in after my class! Good luck battlers!

I have a question...I kinda want to ping a staff member about it, but I hate bothering them. xD Let's say that you have the most time available to participate in the 6pm battle, so you fight longer and therefore deal the most damage in that battle than the other battles you participate in, BUT you also participated in the 2am battle, and although you didn't quite have has much damage in that battle, there were less people participating and you managed to be highest in your tier for that battle. Is the first battle still the only one that's counted because you dealt more overall damage? Or are you still eligible for the top-of-the-tier prize? Or is it both - you have the first battle count toward the regular prizes and then also get the top tier prize?

I think I won't be able to participate at any of those times. Have two doctor appointments tomorrow right around the time of the first round. Then I'll be grocery shopping all day in preparation to head back to a different state where my hubby works. The 2 a.m. one is midnight my time. So...I hope I can squeeze it in somehow, but it's doubtful.

I think I should be able to get in a few losses against one of the bosses. I doubt I'll make the first one as I won't get home until about 11pm Subeta time and I expect it to be long dead. The middle of the night one is also a nope. But I should be able to pound on the third wave easily enough as long as it lasts at least three hours.

I personally like that the battle is in the middle of the week and spread out times. I do wish there wee more than three waves personally though, maybe five or so to make it closer to 24hrs.

If having battle challengers on Monday/Tuesday helps prevent the site from breaking, I'm all for it. Different times would have been nice though, like a 9pm or 10pm EST. Actually, it would be really great if we could just postpone the rest of the event until all the 502/504 errors get fixed. The number of errors I have been getting in the last 5 mins is just horrific.

Saying that some people have a weekend in the middle of the week so that's fine is just a nope. Some males exist on the site yet it's been noted time and time again that the majority of items will be females because they cater to the majority of the users here. Unless I'm completely nuts, I'd gather that the majority of users are here on weekends both by common sense and numbers of users I generally see online (outside of events). I also say this as a person who actually does have a weekend in the middle of the week, and during "vampire" hours which means I'll actually be participating in this quite a lot. It doesn't make any sense to have it on a Monday - Tuesday if you're trying to reach your majority of users, but it does make sense if you're trying to actually limit participation so the site doesn't break. Just a an observation.... ¯(?)/¯

I think I'll be missing the majority of the bosses...10 AM Subeta time, is like 2 AM for me. I'll be at work for the 2 AM battle...that's about 4 PM for me...I'll have an hour left of work..if the battle lasts six hours...I may be able to catch some of that one. I'll be able to do a few battles with the 6 PM one. I just hope that the 2 AM battle is still going on when I get back from work...after catching the train.

Thank you guys soooo much for listing the times. I can plan for it now! And as someone who works weekends, I'm glad all our events are not on weekends. A lot of the plot has been over the weekend, so it is fair to do some of it on the week days as well. I don't know why it is assumed that everyone has weekends free.

I'm sure the site won't crash yet again, I mean it only took me about a dozen times to even get to this news page after all.

Seriously, you guys, I love you and am grateful but.... a lot of people are going to miss out on the battling, and that's just external reasons. The site crashes so often that I'm just not even surprised anymore. I had hoped that things wouldn't be this bad anymore after the shop changes, and sure things are fine when there isn't a site event, but it still has NOT CHANGED.

I knew and expected that the site would still do this during events/holidays/plots etc. since the shop changes, but I was led to believe that it would not be this bad still. I'm just.... flabbergasted that after all these years we still don't seem to be any closer to a real, one-all-fix-all solution.

Devasted I will miss this....all I've wanted this plot is the chance for stronger battle opponents for EXP and the possibility of better weapons as I have missed out in previous plots as I was not strong enough.
