New Years Shop!

The New Years Shop now has new items to celebrate 2016! Make sure to check out older tabs though, as we’ve added some old restockable New Years items! You can purchase items from this shop by using New Year Tokens, which you can get from the following quests: Carl, Cynthia, Cursed, Library, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Sagittarius, Sarah, and the Wizard. The New Year Tokens will stop going out on January 15th!

You can also get New Year Tokens via a common random event!

Today is the last day of Luminaire! Which means at 11:59pm, Mysterious Melody will close, fairies will stop visiting via Random Events, and Cursed Quests will stop giving out old Luminaire restockables.

We haven’t forgotten about Melody’s last few nights of items or the achievement! We’ll have a news post later in the day about this, sorry for the delay!

2015 items are technically in 2014. They were added right before midnight (in 2014) and the news post was at 12:01am January 1st, 2015. The items we added this year for the 2016 New Years are in the 2016 tab. :)

, where are the items from 2015? i think it would be nice if we get every year some items with the actually year number, cause on new year party you wear the stuff with the year witch is going. even 2014 we no have some. you think that can be possible to make it? greetings :)

I'm assuming that since it wasn't mentioned in this post, that none of the previous years of items in the New Years Shop will be retired once celebrations are over? I have so many items to get from previous years and this years and I want to be sure I can grab everything somehow.

m' sad, yesterday i got fine tokens playing the quest's, today is more than small..:(... what happend? yesterday i got up to 2,9 mio. sp from wiz, saggi and maleria, today i got ca. 1 mio playing 5 quest's... is sad... but ok, ty for the chance...*

I posted that once the quests were doable again (since they weren’t working before), I would make the random events a little less common. :) We’ll be fixing that this month! It’s just right now the shop is ordered by when the items are added, which generally meant the items were added the before the new year. This year that wasn’t really possible!

it's been about 6 hours or so now that I've been questing and other stuff around the site and not a single Token random event. Still getting them as rewards from quests though.

Yesterday when I did Wizard Quests, I got a NY token for every one I completed. Today I didnt get one until the 8th quest. Glitch?

I love that we get the tokens by questing, really helps with me wanting to quest and I also love the random events of getting tokens too. It's perfect.

I'm curious, why do some of the NPC characters have no faces? The New Year Shop and the Gift Wrapping elf guy have no faces, it's super creepy.

That's too bad because I donated hundreds of scratch cards on Xmas eve and Xmas day. I spend all year collecting those just so I can give them away on Luminaire. :(

People were donating things they got from the stocking script glitch instead of deleting them as instructed by staff so all of that is probably going to have to be cleared out before it re-opens again or else users will be getting things they aren't supposed to be getting from there.

Which browser are you using? For whatever reason, I can't see item previews on Opera, but I'm now on IE, and the previews work fine.

I agree with Butterflies. I would like to see a grey cat. Actually I would like to see any cats as the party cats I put in my wardrobe won't show up in the list of items so I can wear them! :( Also what happened to the donation center? There was a lot of items in there before it went down and I hope they didn't get lost forever.
