New Years Shop!

The New Years Shop now has new items to celebrate 2016! Make sure to check out older tabs though, as we’ve added some old restockable New Years items! You can purchase items from this shop by using New Year Tokens, which you can get from the following quests: Carl, Cynthia, Cursed, Library, Maleria, Pete, Quentin, Sagittarius, Sarah, and the Wizard. The New Year Tokens will stop going out on January 15th!

You can also get New Year Tokens via a common random event!

Today is the last day of Luminaire! Which means at 11:59pm, Mysterious Melody will close, fairies will stop visiting via Random Events, and Cursed Quests will stop giving out old Luminaire restockables.

We haven’t forgotten about Melody’s last few nights of items or the achievement! We’ll have a news post later in the day about this, sorry for the delay!

Um there is some weirdness going on with user shops. I have received multiples of some items I tried to purchase when I got the cloudflare whatever page error. I dunno if it took my SP twice or not (I hope not!) Cause I don't need two copies of these items.

This is really messed up. I'm doing saggi's quest right now. I did purchase the 2 items he ask for, when clicking on the finish quest button 12 times, because I keep receiving this message:

This is so frustrating because all the items need to be purchased from either a usershop or NPC shops, even if I have the items already in my gallery, which I am not able to remove.

Honestly, I really don't want to sound negative, but I'm not sure this was a good idea to even have started this New Years Shop event due to all the current issues occurring ~

Quests aren't the only way these tokens are going out. :) The random event for that also gives you the tokens is very common, like on par with the annoying snow fairies from Luminaire. So even if you can't get quests done right now (I know some people are having issues!), you will at least get hit by the RE a few times while you're online. :) The event will stick around (likely become a bit more rare) once quests are fixed though.

I love the party cats. But after I put them in my wardrobe they won't show up at all. Guess we have to wait for the site items to catch up?

The cats are perfect. The wraps are stunning but I thought they were baby slings for a moment and am not a bit disappointed. I want the backgrounds for the cookies, the backgrounds are great but damn the item are is stunning. ... Let's hope trying to post this doesn't give me yet another error page.

Can't do the quest Proper. Either by the "forever loading" or "being kicked out with the "504 page"... the results: bought multi "unnecessary" items and got "15 Point Wizard Token" instead of 20 Point Wizard Token. Can't buy items in some shops (especially the one on the top list _cheapest shop), can't move some items out of the vault (forever loading)... I know you guys have been trying the best, but this is really annoying.

Thanks Subeta :) But just started to quest and back to error pages. Is subeta really stable to add all this yet and end this? I don't really want to sit here and try and do quests waiting for pages to load if they do.

To echo everyone else, yeah. This is all well and good and all but I did 2 sets of 15 quests yesterday and that took me about 3 hours to complete because of all the errors. I had to buy multiples of the items for the quests to even register that I had them and a lot of the times the items would just go missing. How exactly are we going to be able to do this? I really don't trust that the quests will do what they're supposed to do right now. I feel like this needs to be put off until we can actually do the quests in a reasonable amount of time.

The tabs are based on when the items are added. Usually, the items are added before the new year. This year, that wasn’t the case.

Has the error of not being able to buy items from user shops been fixed yet? Being able to get tokens from quests is awesome, but also no good if we can't actually, you know, do the quests. :c

The tabs need to be fix. The 2014 one should say 2015. I think I said this last year but it was shot down for some reason because...well I don't know. But there was a reason. In any case, it needs to be fixed.

So far not getting any tokens, but I guess I'm just unlucky so far?

Getting sick of the user shop purchases issue as well. The item I fail to purchase from one shop apparently still goes through

I think it was a really bad decision to release the NY Tokens when buying from shops + completing quests is so difficult right now. I've only done one quest in like five minutes because the page lags and errors constantly and now I have x4 extra of the item I was trying to buy.

Neat new items. Especially the cats. Just wish the problems with buying from user shops and moving to shops had been fixed before this had been started since the tokens rely on questing.

I would love to be able to quest though and nab the great ny items!
