Ahoy, me hearties! Me 'n me other gentlemen o' fortune are back once again wit' th' spoils o' good plunderin'. Th' mainsail be tied, Dirty Matty be in th' brig three sheets t' th' wind again, 'n our Tradin' Company is open fer th' perusin'.

Any worthy landlubber be welcome t' see me wares - both past 'n new! - as long as he has a bit o' gold piece t' flash, o' course. Ye 'ave 10 days afore we weigh anchor. We gets restless bein' landlocked so long. Th' ocean be a beautiful mistress 'n we can'Â€Â™t be ignoring her call fer long.

Translation: Hello, friends! My comrades and I have once again returned with a delightful selection of goods that we obtained absolutely legally. The ship is secured, our good friend Dirty Matty is having a little rest due to some kind of illness, poor soul, and our Trading Company is open for business.

Any person of good standing is invited to take a look at the goods I have to offer - both old stock and new! We just ask a fair price, because we are fair seamen of course. In 10 days time we plan to leave again, so don't delay! Our lust for adventure draws us back to the ocean, and one shouldn't ignore such a call.

After three days of refreshing an empty shop several times a day, I still got a little thrill of excitment at actually seeing an item there, even as it ended up being sold out a second or two later.

Sometimes my internet is slow as molasses; other times it is reasonably fast. All in all, I love restocking and this holiday is my favorite since the holiday shop was destroyed.

That said, I have been on only sporadically since yesterday. For an hour I can be diligent, then I'm off doing life for a few hours, checking in while waiting for dinner to bake, etc. I don't have time to stalk the shop every second.

With that mix of dedication and internet speed I've seen a number of restocks. Got one rare item and several normal/common ones from this year and years past.I've missed a million more than I've grabbed, but such is the nature of the beast and that's part of the fun for me.

My only real concern is the restock times. I've seen a lot of 7-8 min, a few 4-5, several 12-15, and two 28-29 minute ones (once with 1000+ users online, once with about 550). Now, my sample size is random since I've been on at various times yesterday and this morning, but I can sympathize with the users who are getting frustrated with the longer restock times, especially given that the shop is literally emptying as fast as tvs sold out on amazon prime day. If that maxed out around 15, I think it'd be easier for many people to cope. No one wants to waste half an hour of their time waiting for one very small chance to maybe snatch something.

The good news is some items are starting to linger for a few seconds longer, so at least a few more of you might wind up getting lucky! :) I expect that trend to continue (though obviously rarer items will still be harder to grab).

As someone who still misses the holiday shop I have to say that buying something from the Freyalise trading Co is getting rather frustrating this year... I mean, I waited for about 25 minutes before the stock actually restocked and everything was gone in the blink of an eye. Sorry, I don't mind refreshing from time to time as I work or do other stuff, but doing that compulsively as I stare at the empty shop is a lot less fun...

As someone who is used to set restock windows on other sites, Subeta's restocking is just not for me (I used to love vending holiday items though, since I could actually get some of this stuff then). But I think it's fine to have variety since most events have unlimited supply of items, and some users like competetive restocking.

In which world is giving other persons advice to get what they want rude or arrogant? Please explain. And tbh it is not SubetaÂ´s fault that you or others have slow internet or a slow computer (which by the way I have too. Not only my internet is crushing down but my 7 years old notebook. I have to reboot it at least three times a day). YouÂ´ll have to work with what you get. What your computer lacks in speed you have to compensate with dedication, effort and time. ThereÂ´s no way around it. Because it is not SubetaÂ´s task to compensate technical, social and/or financial differences between its users. The staff offers games with rules and conditions. At the moment it is a restocking event. You HAVE to be fast. ItÂ´s a condition of the game because itÂ´s a sort of competition. The game would loose its purpose otherwise. And the users play to the best of their abilities. And if those abilities are lacking in a way there are only two options: complaining or getting better.
Therefore all those arguments about slow internet and computers, not wanting so spend a lot of time on the site, personal working schedules and other people being greedy (someone else than you said that) are simply stupid. Sorry to be this brutally honest but that is how life works in general. And the faster SubetaÂ´s users understand that the faster theyÂ´ll get what they want.

Therefore I ask you, please moderate your words and not try to insult me. Thank you.

It's hard work, there's no denying that. This isn't typical Subeta-style restocking. This is old-school, hardcore Neopets style restocking.

I have the slowest speed my ISP offers, and I'm getting stuff. It's a matter of sticking with it. When you're online and have time to play Subeta, if you really want stuff from Freyalise - that's what you do. You sit and click on the Shopkeeper and wait for a restock.

If something is sold out, don't let it get you down. Go right back to the shop and try for something else. Keep trying! I've noticed that this year they've put a lot of the new stuff at Normal rarity instead of Rare, which is awesome. That means it will pop up more often.

And remember, the books and stuff are always going to go faster, just like they do any time new books are released. Don't get discouraged if you can't get all of those right away during the event. It's only been 36 hours out of 10 days. Things will slow down :)

Preach it! x.x I get it; restocking things for your own shops. However, it does get tiring--and it drains on your sP severely--when that's what you have to resort to. Longer/more abundant restocks would be amazing. I STILL can't get any of the Satin Fabric Bolts from Clothing Rack (back from week 31)...

For all those users who say buying Freyalise items is easy, it's not. You have fast internet, but if our internet lags or slows down, it is impossible to buy anything. By the time I clicked on an item, it was sold out. This is ridiculous, people are so greedy and a lot of users will completely miss out on this event.

Thanks ^_^ I suppose they could even have a shop like this still open for the restockers, just with fewer/less frequent restocks or only certain items or something. I dunno. I know you can't ever make EVERYONE happy. But there is a better way than this to make MORE people happy. :)

In 2 days I have only been able to get 1 item. ONE. And it wasn't even something I wanted, I think it was some parrot thing. Not everyone has the time, patience or energy to do nothing but sit at the computer hitting the refresh key constantly over & over for hours on end 24/7. Giving up and going to watch a movie instead.
