Ahoy, me hearties! Me 'n me other gentlemen o' fortune are back once again wit' th' spoils o' good plunderin'. Th' mainsail be tied, Dirty Matty be in th' brig three sheets t' th' wind again, 'n our Tradin' Company is open fer th' perusin'.

Any worthy landlubber be welcome t' see me wares - both past 'n new! - as long as he has a bit o' gold piece t' flash, o' course. Ye 'ave 10 days afore we weigh anchor. We gets restless bein' landlocked so long. Th' ocean be a beautiful mistress 'n we can'Â€Â™t be ignoring her call fer long.

Translation: Hello, friends! My comrades and I have once again returned with a delightful selection of goods that we obtained absolutely legally. The ship is secured, our good friend Dirty Matty is having a little rest due to some kind of illness, poor soul, and our Trading Company is open for business.

Any person of good standing is invited to take a look at the goods I have to offer - both old stock and new! We just ask a fair price, because we are fair seamen of course. In 10 days time we plan to leave again, so don't delay! Our lust for adventure draws us back to the ocean, and one shouldn't ignore such a call.

That's all well and good, but it does jack all for those of us who can't spend hours at a time stalking one shop and/or have anything less than blitzkrieg Internet. Refresh "4-5 times per minute?" JFC I'm lucky if I can get this connection to load Subeta TWICE per minute. TUMBLR loads faster than Subeta does. And that's when my connection doesn't just decide to crash at random and make me disconnect/reconnect/reload the site THREE MORE TIMES just to get it working again...

Just because it's easy for YOU doesn't mean that it's easy for EVERYONE. Not EVERYONE is working with what you are, and assuming otherwise is just kind of arrogant and condescending tbh.

I've seen two restocks, clicked on three items, and gotten nothing. This is really frustrating and not fun at all - I ain't got time for this, Subeta!

I was concerned the shop was broken because I wasn't seeing anything on RS XD Near the end of the event there will be more stuff and more RSes so I'm really not worried. I love this holiday because its one of the few RS ones left. I miss Halloween RSing. Sigh. Thank you guys for the gorgeous new stuff! My WL thanks you! :)

If this becomes like Alegarten I'll be super angry though because that set up is ridiculous. The best stuff is RS'd during the middle of the work day so its nearly impossible to get any items without user shops (which are over priced) so it doesn't really help the economy settle at all. But thats just me and I don't actually understand the struggles of running a gaming site so..Im probably spouting nonsense.

Your internet must be much faster than mine. While the items do take (for me) a couple of refreshes to vanish, I'm rarely fast enough to catch anything. I hope it slows down a little in the next few days.

In 2 days of refreshing at the shop I've only seen items in there twice. The 1st time was a couple old items that I already have and aren't worth anything, the 2nd time had a couple new items that disappeared immediately. It would be nice if they would stock more often and have more than 2-3 items that are gone instantly. I'll never be able to get the books and maps for my gallery. This isn't fun at all.

You know what might be cool to consider? Since the pirates are docking to rest and resupply the ship through trade with us, why not make the items come in more relevant ways? Instead of one pirate lady releasing items sporadically through a shop, why not make a trading post and the pirate manning it asks for supplies they would actually need. Gun powder, Canon balls, metal to make them, other weapons, water, food, rum.... I guess that would be like quests, but it makes sense. And they could ask for a different amount of items depending on the item you are asking to trade for. For the pirate foods, it could be a restaurant and the chef could ask for ingredients to cook the dishes you order. Maybe one pirate needs you to prove your worth (play one of the pirate themed games or battle an old pirate themed challenger) before he'll let you have anything... I dunno, just some ideas to make the holiday more interactive and immersing and less frustrating and autobuyer supportive.

This most recent restock, items were there for ~5 refreshes. And not just the old items. I missed two items, but on going back, was still able to grab one of the sharks. They are -not- all disappearing the instant it restocks, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to grab anything.

There ARE items in the shop. I grabbed more than 25 items so far and one time I got 3 during a single stock. I really donÂ´t understand why so many users have problems.

If u just miss the restock by a split second clap your hands. if you catch a restock and can't buy anything because everyone else had the same idea, clap your hands If this shop is only open for ten days a year but manages to irritate you more than sagittarius' greedy prizes the rest of the year, clap your hands doot doot.

I've actually seen some items show up, but by the time I click, they're out of stock. I got a couple of the old items, and i think I got a glimpse of a ledger, but I even haven't seen any of the new items. Is it going to be like this for all of Keelhauliday? D:

I'd honestly rather have shops like Alegarten that rotate every few hours and have an infinite supply of items than restocking. Even if they're expensive. I don't have time to sit here all day omg.

I keep a separate tab open just for this shop for me to refresh in, and haven't seen a single new item. In fact I've only seen items in there one time since this started and it was all old stuff I already had. This is no longer fun at all, just frustrating and annoying.

I have to agree with several people that this is actually extremely irritating. The shop restocks so slowly that even though I may be able to refresh just as it restocks, there are only two or three of each of these items, and I never get any of them. I actually am so disheartened by this event that I have been just not getting on Subeta. I know this sounds childish, but I know that I am not the only one feeling this way about the shops. I kind of wish it was more like the shops that you can buy what you want for a set price but you can only buy something every so long or something. I think it would be better if the shops were left open all through the year so that the items we were unable to get during the event we might have a chance to grab later. Just a thought from a user.

I love restocking and I love this holiday, but the lack of captcha and extended wait times for the shop to restock are taking a lot of the fun out of it. Especially the long restock times - by the time you've put half an hour into refreshing every minute, it's even more annoying if it's a bad restock or you choose the wrong thing. When restock times were shorter, it would just be like "oops maybe next time" and now that next time could be another half an hour away.

I know this sounds really whiny, and I'm sorry for that. Like I said, I really do love this holiday! It's one of my favourites all year (because omg the pirate items just get more and more amazing!).

I have seen this more times in the last 24 hours than I care to count any more. This is just ridiculous this year. I should not have spent hours refreshing a page and still not gotten a thing. Something needs to change.

Does Carl have stuff yet? Preferably the new stuff. I did carl quests yesterday and nothing. Freyalise is always empty for me and you all actually made me vend and I only got one new item and 3 flippin' yellow pirate hats. I hate vending. There really needs to be a better way than the majority of us seeing an empty shop most of the time and 'sold out' the rest.

Squints I don't know if I am reading too much into these ledgers, but are they based off of others ? Because if so, awesome. (Disguised Ledgers = Anne Bonny + Mary Read; Fleet Ledgers = Ching Shih; Classic Pirate Ledgers = Blackbeard; Wooden Ledger = Flint; Ghost Ship Ledger = so many stories) I should probably just go to bed.

My luck at restocking or getting new items is already bad to atrocious for the main shops so a shop that restocks like any of the main shops but is open only 10 days... I did manage to grab an item but knowing my luck, that might just be the only one. :-( I know it's only the second day so I'll have to hope that it'll get better in the next few days. But only seeing an empty shop is frustrating.

I see that the recent changes in restocking has made this shop RS every 10-15 mins or so.

That sucks tbh. Especially with no captcha. I really think this shop need to be reconsidered, and I say this as someone who likes restocking and was really mad about the holiday shop being scrapped.

Subeta took away SBQ restocking and holiday shop restocking for every other holiday; I for one am glad they let us have the Freyalise shop as it is. Thank you for keeping this holiday as it is!
