I just got my 25k back so hopefully it won't take too long for you to get your million. sadly it's a problem with me twisting the needles, but I have seemed to be able to mostly stop moving my wrist so maybe my strange idea will work. But I do have a compression sleeve and a wrist brace so I can use it but eventually I'll probably need to do pt or surgery to calm it.

I hope they get it resolved so she can come home.

I wish I'd just stuck with the one I had accidentally now, but I figured they'd get it fixed quickly and I'd then regret not being able to get the 2022 one instantly once it restarts :P

That definitely doesn't help, but at least you've been able to find a work around for the moment squishes

The physio rang today with an update.... let's just say that antibiotics don't tend to agree with Gran (hence why she doesn't want to eat anything), so they're unlikely to send her home until the course of antibiotics has finished, and they have proved that she's back to eating normally. They're also doing a walking assessment (which is something Mum was going to request if Gran was still at home anyway) with view to her needing a walking frame, which hopefully will come in useful :)

Ah sounds like they have a good plan. Does your Gran have the ability to say I'm going even if the doctors want her to stay? Or is her care up to someone else? um being a really difficult day

there's honestly no way to check now that I know of. Yeah there was a glitch so they closed it. No one can get in right now till they sort it out.

Strictly speaking Gran has control of her care, although I think they would say they can't discharge her until they're happy she can cope at home.... she'd need transport arranged to get her home anyway, so thankfully she couldn't just say "I'm off" and get a bus back or whatever ;)

I just went with what happened previous years in that the 25k instant option gives you one of that year's strains (rather than having to wait to be bitten or whatever) ;) .... to be honest, I never bothered looking at the FAQs first! 😊)

I am not sure then.... I didn't want to risk getting a strain I already had. But I don't want to waste time either if I can help it. We have so limited time to get these skins to begin with.
