Survival is about a week away, unless it starts late again this year. By late I mean later than the 17th.

I'm wondering what it will involve. Over the years, the zombie skins have moved away from diseases and instead been other things happening to the HA despite still being referred to as strains and infections and needing bites, which is probably a good thing because of current events that no one really saw coming. I wonder what the theme will be this year. Last year's land theme was really good, maybe they will repeat it with other places.

To tell the truth, I've come to hate the word "Pandemic." Some people still refer to the event as the Great Pandemic even though it was really only the original plot, and maybe the first few Survivals after that before they changed how the skins worked and introduced the VIP. To me, the event will always be Survival.

I'm so excited for Survival!! I am most looking forward to new skins, and maybe getting a few older ones.

i'm definitely looking forward to it, though i can see why some might feel a bit apprehensive.

I've been ready since it ended last year and especially itching for it since January. My favorite event, even beating the fan-favorite Morostide...

I'm very much looking forward to it and it's tied with Morostide as my favorite site event. I take what's going on in the real world very seriously but I strongly hope they don't change the event in any way because of it. If they did, I would feel that we are losing yet another good thing because of covid and that would be extremely disappointing.

For some reason, I kind of have a hunch we'll get more plant-themed strains this year. That could be really fun.

The most exciting part, for me, is to see the progression for the new strains. And then, voting on what to call them :)

Is it a week already? How the time passes...I already have my Survival HA ready to go :D

I always look forward to new holidays and events for the items and just overall stuff to do!

I'm all about literally any site event ever. I'm always hoping for a little plot to go with the event, but just having some extra stuff to do to break up the monotony is a treat.

I don't see any plots happening this year because of all the real life issues caused by last year. I'm hoping for some small events and lore updates, but not until later in the year. That said, it would be nice to finally learn more about how Bubbles became a zombie if he was killed rather than infected, unless he was already infected when he died. But that could easily be mentioned in an item description or something, and not necesarily refer to him, just say that it's possible for people who are infected to become unliving even if they die before they're fully changed or something like that.

I've been a bit apprehensive, but the idea of a low-key event and plant (especially succulent) based skins sounds like a really nice angle :o

I'm certainly excited for Survival.

tbh I don't think the monthly collection is really a good indicator of the strain theme. The past few years had themes that didn't relate to the monthly collection.

Yeah, the collections don't always relate to events and stuff. Except for the May collections after Esther and Emma got married (it's why I have second hand jealousy for Jaxon and Ian, I just want them to get as much attention as Esther and Emma do), however a skin that's based on a succulent or cactus would be nice to see. If they're doing a land theme again, maybe it could for Saherimos?

The 2019 skins were based on food which related to the Cash Shop challenger theme of that year. So this years skins could be related to something else in some way.

I hope it starts soon, will be my 1st event here
