So, to receive the zombie skins, there is a program called the VIP (Voluntary Infection Program) that you go to, and you pay a bit of sP to basically start yourself on a zombie skin. The newest skins will have keywords to hint at what they'll look like at the end, but we won't know the final result until the first people to be infected have finished progressing. It's up to you if you want to take one of the new strains, or wait until they've finished to see if you like them or not. :D Once you pay, you'll have to wait for a little while to get infected, and then your avatar will begin to change. There are several stages for each strain, and you'll get to watch as your avatar goes through them all. By the end of it, the skin for whatever strain you chose will be unlocked in your wardrobe and you can use it to dress up your avatar whenever you want! :)

Biting As I mentioned, once you pay for the strain you want, you have to wait a little while to actually be infected. This can sometimes take hours, but there is a way to accelerate it! If other users who have that zombie skin already bite you while they have that skin equipped, your infection time will speed up by quite a lot. When we're all working together to infect someone, we can drop the time down to just a few minutes. B) I'm part of a group called NVLB (No Victims Left Behind) and the wonderful creators and staff of the group run a thread every year where we help people get the strains they want as quickly as possible. <3 One thing to note though is that if you want one of the newest strains - the ones that are going to be released for the first time tomorrow - no one will be available to bite you to speed up the process, as the skins won't be unlocked for anyone yet! Some people choose to wait until the skins are unlocked so that they don't have to wait for a long time because of that, so it's all up to you what you'd prefer!

Kissing This is the portion of the event that is the least complicated, and most comparable to our other holidays like Masquerade and Vesnali! You "Kiss" users and receive Candy Hearts, which can be spent at L'amour Parlor. :)

Zombie Den There's also a second store that runs with the event that houses the zombie themed items, called the Zombie Den. You can purchase things with sP here, so no special currency is needed! Note: The shopkeeper Skitters is a zombie with visible innards and such, so if you're uncomfortable with gore use caution!
