I logged in today as I found out I was logged out on both of my browsers (safari and chrome) but got this message on my Chrome browser to say that the Subeta website is 'Not Secure' while logging into my Safari browser says that it's private and secure which has really confused me.
Google Chrome:

and Safari:

Note: I wasn't sure what forum to post this on but please move it to a suitable forum if it isn't.
My Chrome says it's secure, not that I'm calling you a liar or anything remotely like that. It is very odd that Chrome freaked out like that.

Yeah that's very strange then. I might restart my computer and see if it says otherwise cause that is odd.
[edit]After restarting my computer and Chrome browser, it still says the sites not secure. This is very puzzling!
[edit] 2 - I reported the bug to Chrome and about 2:20pm they fixed the problem. As it's not really a subeta problem and it's now resolved this topic can be locked now.
I just had this issue too, like five minutes before I found this post! I was half asleep when I logged in and have just changed my passwords as Google confirmed I logged in through a mirror site http://subeta.net
I feel like such a dumb bish, lol.

I found out with mine it's purely a bug on chrome as it definitely was the usual 'https' I found out. Luckily it's been fixed now so I think this topic can be locked.
This may be the same bug, not sure.
(This is observation relates to my incredibly outdated office computer - talking WinXP, FireFox ers(esr?) edition browser here sobs)
If I type 'subeta.net' into the url bar, as I've always done, it does not automatically reroute to the secured https://subeta.net anymore. I had to type in the https:// myself to be taken to the secured homepage.
I only figured this out today as I was paying closer attention after a log in issue earlier this week on the same computer. When I unknowingly tried to log in via the unsecured page, I was taken to the log in page with the news lady NPC. Being bumped over to the dedicated log in page reroutes the site to the secured url and lets me log in without issue.
As of this post, I have not had this issue on mobile as my subeta tab is pushing several months old at this point. :x I can test this on my mobile (Samsung Galaxy s8, Chrome browser) when I get home tonight - roughly 730pm-ish site time. I can also test this when my laptop is up and running over the course of the holiday (Win7, Chrome and whatever the newest edition of FireFox is).
Well the strange thing for me is that I'm using Chrome as a browser on a relatively new iMac and I always use the https of subeta and for some reason, it bugged up and said that it wasn't secure while my Safari browser (which I don't use so much now as I've been told the site doesn't work as well as it should) seemed to have the padlock and said it was fine. It just happened to be a bug which was fixed in a matter of hours.
I've also tried typing the http without the s and it seems to redirect it on both browsers so that was no issue for me.
I'm getting a "site not secure" warning on Firefox, as well, when trying to log in from subeta.net. I tried typing in https://www.subeta.net, and was immediately redirected to regular subeta.net, which still said unsecure.
I then clicked on the login button without filling in the login/password fields to be taken to the https://subeta.net/login.php, which was listed as secure in my browser bar. I logged in there, so hopefully...nothing untoward is going on?
There hasn't been any comment on this issue, and I am woefully ignorant about this sort of thing. Can you assuage our concerns, please?
I can assuage a few concerns :)
We have double-checked that our SSL stuff is up-to-date and set up correctly, and that URL redirection is also set up correctly. This is all configured on our Cloudflare.
I think the issue is likely on the browser side - especially given that, in Romaniyu's case, it was confirmed to be an issue with Chrome - so I would make sure you are using the most up-to-date version of your browser. If the issue persists, please let us know with your exact browser version, and I can get in touch with Chrome/Firefox developers to see if we can get to the bottom of it!

I've noticed an issue with this as well but I usually play on firefox (v.70.0.1). If I go to Tools and then Page Info in firefox, I looked through media permissions and as soon as I click off a check box there to block images from "http://avatar.subeta.net/598231.png" the site is then secure again for me.
It says in the dimension info that this is "24px × 24px (scaled to 1px × 0px)". I blocked it because of the lack of https address in comparison to everything else on the site and because I wasn't sure what it was.
Oh, huh, good catch. I'll look into that!
[edit] Is that something you're seeing on every page?

It's on all pages when logged in as far as I can tell. I've went and tested preferences, news, my shops, inventory, game room and forums. When I log out it doesn't exist on the index page or on the login page. I removed all of my custom CSS to see if that changed anything and I still have the same thing viewing the site with no custom CSS.

I'm not sure if this qualifies under the safe browser issue but while doing quests and going into my inventory I've been presented with the Subeta.net Cloudflare anti-bot security page kind of thing. There's a CAPTCHA box to tick and then the page loads as normal. This has happened 4 times while doing Library and Cursed quests and again when I tried to get into my inventory. I'm playing on Firefox and have up to date anti-virus/malware if that helps. Is there something I might be doing that would cause this page?
after error 520, refresh 1000 x and app. error i got this now, u ask me whats' new?? this... still game no work but hurray, we get more sensless stuff... check compu, change browser and clear all and is working, sigh...

I just now got the same error that got just before this all items broke and could not see the image
I wish I could go back in time..
I'm getting the same error as well... and some captchas take me to endless captchas, showing a new one just after completing them
I don't know if this is the same thing but I get the "not secure" message in Firefox (71.0, up to date) on some topics (not all, but this one for instance) and on all profiles.
