I've also been having that issue with Firefox. I'll go see what version is being used.
EDIT: Just checked by typing subeta.net into my Firefox browser. Looks like it's been fixed on their end. Also have the latest version of FF as well.

This issue should now be fixed on all browsers :)
Thank you for your patience. It was an issue with specifically the Hustler banner, which contained a broken avatar link to our old avatar system (which predates HTTPS!) Our website uses up-to-date SSL, but that pesky avatar image was causing browsers to complain and load an unsecure version of the page. It's now been removed so you should no longer be encountering this issue.

Re-opening this issue because it seems like it's still not consistently redirecting people to the secure website.
Workaround for now: If you notice you're browsing this website insecurely, change the "http://" part of the address to "https://" to go to the secure version of the website.
We apologize for the inconvenience and any worry this has caused. Please rest assured that you are fully secure as long as you are on the HTTPS version of the website. The problem is just that it is not redirecting visitors off of the insecure version correctly, and I will be sure to let you know when I have an update on that issue.

Just as an FYI if the subeta.net log in is related, there is no Hustler banner when entering Subeta.net not logged in.
The only banner I get is the cookie notice when on incognito
I tested entering http://subeta.net/ intentionally on IE, and also unable to log in from the home page. (Even with the cookie notice removed) But if I enter only "subeta.net" on the URL bar, I am automatically directed to the https.
Not sure if that is of any relevance, but in case it helps c':

Thanks for looking into all these things! You are definitely a busy little bee (bug?) and we appreciate it. :)
Just a note that might be related, but I've noticed that every page on the site where there's an imgur image posted (like this page, for instance - 's signature image is hosted on imgur], has a warning that says "parts of this page are not secure (such as images)." Obviously that wouldn't make any difference for the log in page, but perhaps it's pertinent for the rest of the site?
Hello! I had mentioned this in a site update on January 5th, but I just realized I never said anything here. I'll quote it here for anyone who may have missed the update. :)

This is happening again on Firefox (whatever the latest version of it is because I auto update). All of a sudden my bookmark toolbar links were going to the unsecured version. I had to manually change all of them to have https in the front in order to force it onto the secured site.
It is not happening in Chrome (I just checked).
Okay, I'll let Keith know. Thanks!

No problem! Thankfully it works fine if I just manually redirect to https - then anything I click from there stays on secure.
I'm recieving the same issue on Mozilla Firefox and Safari. I was told by Staff member Dill to comment here to let you know. I don't use bookmarks I type the address in every time These screen shots are what happens:
| [egg=emmie1989] | [tp=emmie1989] | |
This is still happening for me on chrome.
Hey everyone - We are aware this is still happening.
For now, the workaround: The site is still safe and secure as long as you are on the https:// version. If you notice the browser address says http:// you can fix this by just changing it to https://
We are still looking into why the redirect is not happening correctly and will continue to provide updates as necessary.

Hey!!! So we did some stuff with Cloudflare, and you SHOULD be getting correctly redirected to https from now on! Please let me know here if this is working or not for you now. Thank you!

:c
the url is https and for a second before the page loads i get the lock icon and it says the connection is secure, but then goes back to this
the main forum page is secure but it seems individual threads aren't orz
This is because people can put images in their forum posts (for example, forum images and in their signature, or in the posts themselves) and these images may not be secure. Same goes for custom coding such as custom images on user and pet profiles.
We don't have much control over this, since we can't control if the websites users host images on are using SSL correctly. We could force all of these images to be HTTPS, and that option is on the table, but doing so might cause a lot of images hosted elsewhere to stop working entirely, and would basically force everyone to find a secure host for their forum images.
