- If anyone has "missing achievements" in the sense that they SHOULD have an achievement, but don't, please file a ticket instead of reporting it here, since these need to be manually checked and awarded by a UA.
- If you have "missing achievements" in the sense that you're not missing any specific achievement that you're aware of, BUT you have reason to believe the achievement count you have is incorrect, post on this topic and thank you so much for helping out. :)

[U]Original post [/u] Precursor to this topic - I started by filing a ticket and was informed that I should make a topic as this appears to be a bug.
So I was just hovering over my username to check my achievement count, and noticed I am suddenly missing about 20 or so achievements.
Last week, I hit 1000 achievements (I recall because it was a big deal!) I powered through quite a few of the book ones to reach 1k (I was in the 980s or 990s). I already had quite a few of the book ones but they hadn't "activated" so I was shop searching the books and activated them. Anyways, I'd gotten a handful more since I hit 1000 (a couple for doing quests, one for the rift, several for battles) so I know I had at least 1010.
Today, my hover, profile and achievements page all say I only have 988.
I... have no clue which ones are missing. I eyeballed the book ones and those seem to be in order. The battle ones seem to be correct too. The UA who had my ticket confirmed that all the latest achievements I earned appear to still be earned.
It seems like my achievement count "rolled back" a week. I can only find a problem with the count, not the actually achievements being recorded.
Not so sure it matters in this case but I am on Chrome on Windows 10.
[edit] Decided to do a small test.
I added 7 plushies to my plushie collection, to hit the 50 plushie tier. Unlocked Plushie Collector! Collect 10 Plushies!
Hover, profile & achievements page all updated to 989.
[edit] Wasn't trying to do more testing, but got another achievement (Meatslab) and that one updated as well - 990 now showing.
Also, corrected my old Achievement number, I definitely had at least 1010. Because after I hit 1000, then I got at least:
- Shifted by the rift
- Shinwa quests
- Saggi quests
- Decidiwi (battle)
- Sophie (battle)
- Slaglord (battle)
- Vile Carrier (battle)
- Flamagia (battle)
- Slaughtersaurus (battle)
- High level (1800)

The rift transformer achievement isn't working for me. I must've had close to 5 items transformed, but they didn't count when I was on mobile.

What are you putting into the rift? You must throw in a specific item to have it count towards the achievement.
This table is taken directly from the rift board. You can still get the below rift items with random items but it will not count towards the achievement.

Wait, really? No wonder my rift achievement never goes up... The wording on that achievement is super unclear to me. I thought it meant to have any item you put in transformed into any item that can come out of the rift. Perhaps it could edited to say "rift-exclusive" items.

I have a couple of stuck achievements myself (Foodie and Get of my Back). Do I make a ticket to get those awarded, even though I have an open ticket regarding a different matter?
For the Get Off My Back achievement. have you visited this page to trigger the achievement? And for the Foodie one, did you make sure it was one pet and that you visited that pet's foods eaten page? I believe that is the trigger for that one.

I didn't know that page existed!
But I've looked at the achievement for Foodie and my pet's eaten page more times then I can imagine, but nothing happens. I'm sure it's all on the same pet too, but short of going through his entire page to make sure I have more than five, I don't know if there's an easy way for me to check.
I think I counted 10 (there aren't that many r99s) so I would make a ticket to see if they can manually award it. I am not sure if they can or not.

Just FYI, the way I trigger foods eaten / books read is to shop search one of the foods/books. No clue why, but it usually works. :P
Did this ever get resolved? The same thing just happened to me today and everything I've earned recently seems to be in order.

No it hasn't been resolved. That's why I keep logigng every achievement I get and updating my count, I'm paranoid now ha! I'm not sure anyone's had time to look into it yet either tho, especially since before now it would seem like it only affected me. So it'd probably be helpful if you can post what happened with you too (:

I, too, got an achievement and it only set my count to 1195. I will keep track of my achievements received as well since being hit with this bug and the number I should actually have. I don't believe I've missed any achievements I've earned in the week I have returned so I am basing my actual count on 1194 + the 29 missing achievements listed (assuming the two in question were in fact received on or after 22 July 2019).
I remember I came back a day or two before my Subeta Anniversary on the 22nd, because that's when I got pet slot and the gelatin war also started. I did not actually get any achievements in those 1-2 days (excluding the two in question) as I was still working on 2500 Blue Building Points and just focusing on doing Wiz Quests, Saggi Quests, and feeding Deku Baba while trying to slowly get back into Subeta after my mini-hiatus.

*The Foodie achievement is still bugged for me and every time I get a new tier I must consult staff. I have tried everyone else's workarounds but I must still ask staff when I reach a new tier for this one. **This one was bugged for me and I'm not sure if it would be bugged for anyone else. The bag has a separate name than the achievement states, but when I opened it I never received the achievement. I had to consult staff on this one as well so if you don't have this and open the Eighth Anniversary Gift Bag with no achievement then you will have to ask to have this unlocked as well. That IS the correct bag to open for that achievement.

Huh yeah I'm missing like 20 achievements as well, I remember hovering over my HA and thinking to myself "man guess l have to stop posting" because I was at 555 achievements and 5,554 forum posts- I'm now at 537 achievements.

My counter has been showing the wrong amount for years, I tried to get it fixed once through a ticket but it didn't work, so I just gave up, mostly because it's difficult to count all the achievements again, I have too much..
So keep track on everything and don't give like me "^_^
I just lost 20 achievements as well sometime within the past few days. I was at 2,276. Very strange.
This was my last 'known' count: https://subeta.net/forums.php/gotopost/63702135 But I keep track of my new achievements on this thread: What&;s your Newest Achievement? V2 and from my post history, I've absolutely earned 24 since then and not just four.
I think it may have happened when I visited someone else's achievement page? Not 100% sure on this, but it's the only thing I can think of that has changed.
Hm, well at least I'm not the only one. I don't think I visited anyone else's achievement page, but I can't be sure. I was definitely playing around in the achievements page a lot right before it happened though.
I was lending someone and checking whether or not they had an achievement already when I noticed my count had gone down. It may just be a coincidence, but it could also be relevant :P
I know there was an issue like that before causing people to gain or lose forum titles if they visited someone else's achievements, so I think it's at least worth mentioning as something to look into.
