For what it's worth, I always order pizza with pineapple on it. I am in love with the taste of pineapple on pizza and have been for years! I hadn't even known it was a big deal until I saw it online last year haha.

Anyway, to anyone saying "let people be happy" - good sentiment, I hope no one actually hates anyone for their pizza toppings! But I was under the impression the entire "debate" is non-serious so please don't be offended, it's only joke fighting. Let us have our fun!

I used to not like pineapple on pizza... because I hadn't tried it. The thought of it was super gross to me. I like my pineapple either chopped off its pointy fruit self or cold and canned by Dole, the thought of hot pineapple was like, yuck. Then my roommate was like EAT IT OR DIE so I ate it.... and holy crap it was amazing. Now I'm like PINEAPPLE GIVE ME MORE PINEAPPLE.

But I mean, if you don't like it, you don't like it... it's not a big deal. More pineapple for me.

I draw the line at bleu cheese though. Keep your mold off'n my pizza.

The only topping I don't like on pizza is bacon. It overpowers the rest, all I can taste is smoke.

I prefer to top a slice of pizza with another.

I really don't get the anti-pineapple backlash. You don't like it? That's cool. I'm not going to force you to eat it (more for me!). People just seem to get so angry about it. I don't know of any other food preference issue which inspires a similar furore.

as a Certified Italian™ i have never tried pineapple on pizza but would totally give it a shot idk i've had pizza with nutella so pineapple doesn't even sound that weird i guess?? why is this even a big deal lmao

Oh man, bleu hawaiian is one of my favorite pizzas. The one I tried had bleu cheese as the base, mozzarella, bacon, ham and pineapple on it.

That said, in parts of Europe they put CORN on pizza. (???) And in France they like fried egg on top, and in Japan they have mayo as a topping at Dominos? IDK PINEAPPLE SEEMS KIND OF OLD NEWS
