Let us remove items from galleries with 1 click What it says on the tin. You can already do this in your user shop. Go to your shop's front page, click the item you want to remove - bam. Done. I don't see why this isn't an option in galleries, it would make removing things SO MUCH EASIER. Hi, I have a 7300+ item gallery and I have many wishlist items in it. If you're going to give me a wishlist search for the gallery front page, let me remove things easily from there instead of having to deal with a slow load.
Let us see prices on the back-end of galleries/filter by price in galleries If I want to sort through my gallery and sell all of the junk that's currently below 3000sP in user shops, I should be able to do this quickly and easily. You want me to stop hoarding, right? Make it easier for me to clean my shit out. Make it a GA option, I don't care. Just make it an option.
More suggestions welcome, I'll be adding them to the first post and crediting them accordingly.
Already implemented! :D
Let us filter items by rarity - Done! Added by codewizard on Feb 15th & March 8th 2018!
I can't even begin to explain how annoying it is to have to sift through your galleries for restockable shit that you want to remove and sell. Same goes for all other item rarities, including retired, cash shop items, currencies and CWs.
Give it to shops too. If I want to slap all my currencies into one category for the comfort of my buyers, make it easier for me to do just that. Speaking of categories...
Give us back categories in user shops - Added on Sept 14th 2017. ty ! I don't care if it's a hard limit of 5 categories per shop. I just want to be able to categorize my items for ease of purchase. Example: put the expensive stuff in a 1m+ category, then link that category to my selling topic. Do the same for stat boosters, currencies, SBQ, what-have-you. Saves my buyers a headache, saves me the annoyance. Everyone wins.
Let us easily move items between shops - Implemented on March 22nd 2018! You know that spiffy little dropdown list in your vault that has all of your shops, galleries and your inventory listed? Give us that for all of our shops. Why are you making me jump through hoops to move 200+ items at a time? Why do I have to first move them to my vault, then move them to my second shop? The programmers already proved that it's possible to add shops to the dropdown list - it was added in the old shop system to make moving items easier. I really don't see a reason for it to not be a thing.
Things that won't be happening :(
Let us purchase extra shop/gallery space.
You want an sP sink? Here you go.
Give it a cap (4000 items max for user shops, 10k for galleries), bonus GA space still counts.
Alternatively, let us buy more shops/galleries (ty & ). Ideally raise the limit to 10 instead of the current 6. Let us buy the extra shops with sP - another good sP sink.
[...]
Yeah that was meant to be a no to extra shops/galleries in general. Even if it might be a possibility in the future, it wouldn&;t happen anytime soon, so you shouldn&;t count on it.
yes! YES TO ALL THIS! Shops and galleries needs SO much more attention! Also please fix this bug that doesn't let us make descriptions for shops/galleries.
YES, Yes, yes, YES, YES, yes!
- oh my gosh I totes didn't realise you could do that with shops!
All this stuff! I would pay for these things!
Support for all of the above (well, I'm indifferent about categories, but not opposed to them either). I've been hoping for a rarity filter since forever - it would help really help with clearing up junk that's better for fragging than selling. I'd love to move stuff between shops too.
I only really noticed when I was going through my shops after I'd cleared a part of my old gallery junk, looking for cheap wl items for pet TCs. :'D I reallyreally wish galleries would have that option too. I have so much gourmand stuff in my main gallery and zero will to manually search, remove, search again, remove, one by one... Ugh. The user-end part of the gallery takes too long to load, I thought the new shop system was supposed to fix this?
No to buying extra space.
YES, yes and yes to everything else.

Yes to ALL of these.
Although I will say that, personally, I'd rather pay for additional shop than buy extra space. I miss my old set up.

Why do GA shops hold 500 extra items? So you can frag them after autopricing from the extra vends it gave you :P
That joke aside, I think the shop size should be increased from 2-2.5k to 3-4k items (or at the very least we are allowed to have one shop of that size), because the smaller shops for a typical user:
Isn't big enough to hold your items in one shop Assuming the items come from daily quests, vending, battle loot, and light restocking.
Usually end up holding redundant items.
Slow things down Especially when moving items between shops to use the autopricer. (Also, IMO spending 25csc for further autoprices isn't cost effective because the limited shop size means you will only net about 3-5m per autoprice)
Are you against the idea of buying more shop space because the old shops/galleries had unlimited space?
I definitely wouldn't be opposed to more free space for shops and galleries (Keith did say that they might raise the item limits based on performance and other Things and StuffTM), but I think having it as an option for an sP sink would also be good. A mix between both would be an option too?
I'm against it for practical reasons. I have slowly been transferring items from my old shops into new shops/galleries. Initially it was fine. But I'm not even close to filling up my one gallery (just over 7k unique items) and I'm already getting 504/502 errors every time I open it. I have to load it, get the error and reload and then it will usually open, though I've had to reload several times on occasion.
Not sure if the shops are better or not, because I haven't reached the limit for any of them yet. But I'm thinking autopricing might slow down or give errors if the shops getting any bigger.
I do agree with I would rather spend sP to get extra shops!

I get major lag when I open my main gallery, so I can kinda relate. :/ I agree, that sucks.
HUH. I haven't considered the autopricer, that's a very good point! It took a while with old shops too and it still takes a little while even with 2000-2500 items in your shop.
I'll add the idea about more shops to the first post!
So much yes to the suggestions in this topic, especially: -being able to buy more shops -being able to see user prices below items in galleries -being able to add user categories in shops

I would love categories in my shop - then I could just forego one shop all together. I would also love to move things between shops, since I've misplaced things between and it's just... augh.
General support for everything. MAJOR support for the filters and "Let us easily move items between shops" sections - having to move things to my inventory and then select them via quickstock is a massive pain. :c Also, is there a general vault organisation/layout suggestion thread like this one? The vault is SUCH A PAIN and needs loads of the features already enabled or suggested for shops/galleries.
Thanks for the link
I was advised to post my support here (about moving items between shops). Hopefully this brings some new attention into this topic :)
i generally offer my support to all the ideas in the first post. maybe not the one with buying more space in the shop/gallery, but if it benefits people/the economy, why not..?

No problem! And yeah, fingers crossed. I don't know how hard any of these would be coding-wise, but the shops feel really unpolished the way they are now. :'|
A GA already provides bonus space, but people have been wanting more. D: I'm kind of in the middle on it after thinking. More would be good, but I do realize why they had to implement the limit in the first place. Adding more shops would probably make it worse and we'd be moving back to the mess that the old shops were. Not drastically, but still might be closer than staff would like.
I'm going to leave the shop size/extra shops suggestion in the first post despite that, though. If it's a hard no from staff - it's a hard no, and that's that.
i believe staff wanted us to use the pets' TCs as galleries. and that's where we can buy as much space as we want [i seriously know a user with more than 3000 TC space, and all are filled. can't imagine the dedication [over time, but still] but Keith did say they might increase the shops if the site is more stable... so, if enough people want it..

Sorry, but it's a hard no to extra space. It's not about how much people want it, it's about what is feasible in terms of what the machines can handle. The autopricer is a huge reason why this isn't possible right now.
Everything else mentioned can (and likely will) be implemented when I get around to working on shops/galleries.
Someone mentioned the vault in this thread, it's a little off topic but let me just hint that I've got something in the works for that. ;)

I understand the hard no about extra space. But is that also a hard no to extra shops/galleries or is that still on the table?
I need to do some cleanup of my vault. And without some idea of time frame and if extra shops/galleries are possible I can't really plan how to do it effectively. I've already wasted a lot of time and effort on stuff that already needs to be undone or redone. I don't want to waste more time and effort, but I also can't keep things as they are because there are days where I simply can't open my vault. I get 502/504 errors non-stop.
