I miss it. I know a LOT of people tried to abuse it, but I miss it and hope they bring it back! Some people were unreasonable sure, but that's how I got some of my items and I liked giving to people too! Some good did come of the shrub! I think the, "if you give you get an achievement," helped with cutting down on some of it. I REALLY hope that staff looks at this somehow and reconsiders. Change it however to cut down on abuse. Maybe only allow you to wish for only items up to 5 or 10 mil?
I did like the shrub. I gave out stuff worth millions and got good items in return. Staff made some good changes along the way.
That said, I really don't know if I'd want to see it return. I can see reasons both for and against. My main argument against it is that by the end there were no reasonable items to choose to give. It got really top heavy with junk that either no one was willing to give away (high value CSC cards), or stuff that people simply didn't HAVE to give away, items where simply too few of them were available on site.
The problem with putting a price limit on items doesn't work because its simply way too easy to game the prices.

I LOVED the wishing shrub. It was a lot of fun and I'd definitely like to see it come back some how. I do agree there should be certain items that shouldn't be allowed, like the higher denominations csc cards and legendary/godly weapons.
Disallow things like GAs, CSC cards, CWs and God Weapons to be asked, and anything else goes. There are a lot of 100M HTS items I would throw on the shrub
I was on Subeta a long time ago and I rejoined about a year ago, but I seem to have missed this entirely. Can you explain what it was? I get the gist but I don't really get it. It sounds a little like the gift corner in Arctic Frost but not exactly.
lmao I totally forgot it was a bush that granted wishes. Couldn't it be like...an ancient oak tree or magical stone or something a little...cooler?
I'd love for it to be akin to Neo's wishing well. You deposit however much you're willing to risk for an item of any value, and it randomly grants 10 wishes out of the total made per day. sPs gets out of the global market instead of constantly being exchanged.
It would be a nice way to try and get some incredibly rare, old items into some form of circulation again.

I'll take the bush over a cliche old tree or magic stone.
It's not as cool-looking, but it's actually original and the lore was interesting, with putting little bits of paper with wishes on them rather than just wishing on a stone.
I forgot this even existed. Oh man.
I'd like to see it back. With a few tweaks, it shouldn't be hard to implement. Something like a rarity cap (1-99 only) or an SP cap (Up to 5m maybe so it's still affordable for most people). I know people are going to want the cap to be higher, like 20m, but 1-new players, and 2-most people aren't going to drop that much on a total stranger.
If this is brought back, it shouldn't be about getting the most expensive thing for free, it should be about giving/receiving a wish. I know I don't mind getting gifts that aren't worth much. If it's on my WL, I want it. Sometimes I just haven't gotten around to buying even the cheap crap I have on there.
the wishing shrub was a feature during the peka-boo event. users would type in an item they wanted and it would be added to the list. you could then look at what people were wishing for and pick an item to gift if you had it. if i'm remembering correctly, you could only make a wish after you fulfilled someone else's wish (which... makes me wonder how the first users were supposed to submit their wishes). the problem was, many people were wishing for gold account medals, or csc cards, or items that simply weren't available anywhere on-site, and so no one could fulfill those wishes, and therefore those people in turn couldn't make their own wishes. so the whole thing kind of came to a standstill for a bit. there were achievements for having 5 of your own wishes granted, and for granting others' wishes, which helped encourage people to submit more fulfillable wishes, but i still remember looking at the list and seeing like a million instances of the argo blackout liquid liner.
I really liked the shrub and with a few tweaks I'd actually really like for it to come back?
I got a handful of higher priced items in exchange for higher priced items I'd been hoarding (because they're hard to sell, or I was holding onto them for no real reason). I swapped a lot of collection items I didn't need for ones I really wanted, that was probably the best part.
My only real issue was the fact that when the day reset, there were X amount of free wishes. I feel like there should have been a better alternative. Like idk, every hour or so five randomly generated wishes (from thesubetateam or something) should appear and be more affordable (like 500 wiz tokens, or subq invitations or something).
I didn't even mind people asking for godlies, if they wanted to waste their wish on something no one will give them then that's on them. It shouldn't be an issue as long as no more "grant a wish" achievements are added? Or no more achievements are added in general.
I think this would be a nice luminaire addition, and makes sense to me for it to be open only part of the year. Like everyone else said, limiting what can be asked for is a good idea, but I thought the concept of the wishing shrub was nice. :)

Keep the 'grant a wish to make a wish', ban certain rarities (200, 105), ban gift cards, gold medals, and the godlies, and make the bush reset after 24-48 hours to clear off everything so it won't get bogged down with unattainables. To make it easier for people to get a wish and to take sP out of the system, have ask for sP vouchers, say five or ten every hour or so.
Man I hated that thing. It just showed how greedy people can be. I think that if it were brought back there would def need to be an sP and rarity cap. Or maybe a shrub for affordable gifts, and a shrub for expensive gifts. Idk.
I miss the Wishing Shrub! I'd be into having an inexpensive version and a more expensive version. Though I can imagine if everyone's in the expensive version wishing for large amounts of CSC or rarer CWs that most people aren't even able to grant let alone wanting to that it's gonna get cluttered very fast, so I can see why some people are less eager for the expensive version. Still, I miss the Wishing Shrub in general, it'd be nice if it could come back. ;w;
I Must have been completely oblivious to this wishing shrub but sounds like an interesting concept.
Sp vouchers [tot=aries][tot=pyritefraxure]
I dont know how, but i have no idea what this was, ive been playing this site off and on for 10 years and all i can think about is the wishing well from neo
I think I remember this, I never went to it much as I know I always asked for some pretty high priced things. I was new here and I did not know really how it worked and I always hoped to get some good stuff from it, I think I stopped when I saw that it was not easy to get the things I asked for, and I totally forgot about it lol.

I actually really enjoyed this, would love to see it back with some tweaks :)
I'd like to see it come back! Maybe it could make a comeback during a different event, not Lumi (since w have so much going on during Lumi).
I'm not sure when it could come back though.. Vesnali? Or maybe just have a "Giving Week" around the middle of the year.
