Anyone play Fallout 4? (or any fallout video games really) I'm curious what people think of Nuka World if you've played. Specifically the 3 raider groups.

I've played and have around 100 hours in it. I have all the DLC but haven't played any yet because I've been focusing on trying to get all the magazines for perks. I think I only need 6-7 now.

wow, how do you resist playing the dlcs? I was sitting in my room at midnight bouncing every time a new one came out. lol.

Did you join the railroad, BoS or Institute?

I still haven't decided yet since I'm still sort of just exploring and questing. I'm sort of split between the Railroad and the BoS. I don't care much for the Institute. I really don't feel like any of them really 'speak to me' honestly. I hate that you have to choose one and stick with it. : But honestly, the more I think about it I think I'm going with the Railroad, there's just nothing really 'flashy' about them. Even though I like the BoS's demeanor, I don't like the fact they want all synths gone. I never liked the Institute, even after I found out that huge thing about their leader.

Since you seem to have gotten far along, does my choice between the 3 affect my relationship with the Minutemen at all?

I don't think so. i only really got into the minutemen on one file, and it was so long ago. but i have 3 different files, and i went with a different group in each file, and Preston is still cool with me on all 3, and wants me to do quests.

Well, that's good to hear. I heard once before that you were fine with the Minutemen no matter what, but no one has really 'confirmed' it for me.

Out of curiousity, what do you play on?

Yeah. I will say though, that it is possible to make Preston dislike you during the Nuka World DLC.

Ah lucky. I was so excited for mods to come to ps4, but the way it sounds, it's probably never gonna happen. i just want mods so i can build more and have more stuff. don't even care about the other stuff.

I play Fallout 4! I haven't played Nuka World yet though, I don't even have it downloaded since I'm on vacation and don't have my PS4 with me. I sided with the Railroad on my play through. I like to head canon everything different then it actually happened though. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has headcanons and what they are. Who's your favorite character in Fallout 4?

I stopped playing a month or two ago because work picked up. I am stuck on the Reunions quest. Kellogg and his damn synths keep killing me. 😡

Whoop, I play! =D At first, I wasn't very interested in the game because it's a shooter and I tend to be bad at those. My boyfriend convinced me finally by telling me it was kind playing Skyrim with guns. Not a huge shooter, but I adore exploring, finding, building, discovering, etc., and he was right, I grew to like the game really quickly. In the first, and really only, playthrough I've done, I progressed in the main quest first. I wanted (felt slightly obligated) to find out what happened, but didn't join when I did. Didn't feel right. None of the factions really do, I wish there were peace options with a high enough intelligence/charisma/position in a faction.

We don't have the DLC yet, but when we get it, I'll be dead to the world for a few days. Only to rise again with a bigger, better, more badass Spectacle Island. Cause who doesn't pick that place >.>

omg i'm so sorry i never saw this until now. I didn't mean to ignore you! I have headcanons for all my Sole Survivors, I made a different one for each ending. My first one, her name is Jack, and she went with the Institute only because she spent so much time fighting and searching for her son, she'd do anything she could to connect and spend that last bit of time with him.

Elliot sided with the Railroad and when he met his son he was kind of like, wow, and felt no attachment to him or anything. was kind of disgusted with how he ended up. he's more attached to synth shaun.

Paige sided with the brotherhood. She's in love with Danse. Her I don't have as much of a story for, I just wanted to do a Brotherhood ending. orz.

I also have Penelope, but she is a completely modded playthrough I made when the PS4 got mods, so she doesn't have much of a story. But she wears glasses and has freckles. ^_^

As far as favorite characters go, hmmm....I'm not sure. Can I just leave it as Dogmeat for now? lol. What about you?

aw, i hope you get some time to play again soon. The first time I did that playthrough I got so mad during that part, I finally got really obnoxious and got a fat man or missile launcher or something. haha

I'm glad you ended up liking it! The fallout games are my favorite, so i get so excited about them and when people like them. Yeah, the building and exploring aspects are my favorite too! And since mods have been added to consoles, I have been having more fun than ever building stuff.

I uh. I didn't pick Spectacle Island. I was going to because it's so huge, but then I felt overwhelmed. But I have it sitting empty on one of my games, and when I feel ready to take it on, I am going to make it amazing.

My favorite character is probably Nick Valentine! I just love him so much he's so amazing and cute.

My character Jolyne Miller ends up starting her own army called the Liberators of the Commonwealth, their main goal is to restore the world to it's former glory and bring back the old ways. She dislikes the institute and how Sean grew up, she absolutely loves synth Sean though and gave him his own room in her house that's specially decorated for him with unlimited toys. She likes the Minutemen and the Railroad but hates the Brotherhood. In her town that she builds (the main hub for the Liberator's) all ghoul's, synth's, and super mutants are welcome as long as they respect the rules.

I wish mods were on PS4 :( I want to use the greenery mod that adds trees and plants to the commonwealth. There's also this mod that's new stores that adds like fancy counters and stuff. They're really neat, I've seen them on the XBOX. I wish I could have all the mods that you can have on the computer. I'll probably end up buying the game again so I can mod it on the computer. I dunno though.

I agree with you that none of the sides felt right. They all felt poorly written and I strongly disliked the ending. That's why I completely rewrite it in my head.

I'm pretty sure Elliot would love her. He has the same kind of attitude.

And mods got added for PS4! It's quite recent, within the last month or so I think. I'm not sure when exactly. They were already out when I realized it.You just have to make an account on bethesda.net, and make sure you have the most recent update of fallout 4, and then 'mods' should show up in the start screen menu. Then you can go through and add mods.

The only thing that sucks is you can't do as much as you can on xbox and pc because Sony is being really strict about stuff. But you can get the greenery mod, and mods that add extra items, quite a few different things. :D

The building aspect is one of my favorites too, I was so happy to see it wasn't in the style of Skyrim. (I really wish they'd tweak Skyrim's building system, but mods helped that a lot. I'm only sad that you can't send kids/followers to them.) Like I said, we don't have the DLC yet but I'm ridiculously excited to. It'll be like playing for the first time again.

oh i haven't played skyrim. i would have thought they would be the same because they're both bethesda.

For some reason I've gotten really into Fallout lore videos and stuff recently. I haven't really played any Fallout games before (well, I played Fallout 3 with a friend, but only from just after the very beginning of the game until Megaton. ...and yes, I exploded it). But now that I've started watching lore videos, I've started really wanting to play Fallout, especially Fallout 4. I'm not good at shooters, but I really love story-heavy games!

I'm just not sure whether I want to start with 4, or somewhere earlier in the series ;;
