Looks like it's time to unmake the mess that is my overflowing shop. Anyone want to chat while we dismantle our mountains of stuff? Maybe strategize how we're going to do it, or organize a giant online swap-meet?

I am SO thankful that I decided to unhoard one of my shops into my vault ages ago. The ones I have left are small so that shouldn't be a problem unless I want to make more shops. Darn my non-GA account.

What I've found useful is doing one page at a time while watching TV and moving everything to the vault. It take extra time, but a great thing to do is to create Vault Categories so it's easy to find things when you need them. I mostly keep everything from quests just in case of Recycle Beast or whatever, so it's nice to have. For example, I have Currencies, Food, Plushies, Weapons, etc.

I think I'm kind of lucky that I downsized some time last year (and never had the patience for the hoarding achievements) but I still have 1000+ in my pretty things gallery. I was thinking about maybe putting some of the plushies in my official collection to help with the achievements, and feeding some of the food to Mygeeta etc, putting things in treasure chests...

But it's hard to decide, there is just so much nice item art out there and it's nice to have it all in one place.

I was in the middle of the hoarder achievement, so I have 24k of stuff I don't want. OxO I have considered moving stuff to my vault, but then to get rid of it-- to sell, gift, or donate it-- I would have to pull it all back out again.
So for now I'm just pulling out foods 10 at a time and feeding them to Xannor. ^_^

I agree, there's so many pretty baubles on this site! I've considered putting a few of my favorites into my pets' treasure, but I've never really gotten on board with that. So I keep a few of my favorites in my vault to stare at from time to time.

I've been here for 6 years .. things pile up too quickly ha ha. I've made a separate shop to sell my most expensive stuff for now. But I cry inside.

Yup, I think I'll do that too when the new shops go live. As soon as I got the news that they were retiring the hoarder achievement, I started doing my quests from my own shop... I only had to buy a few things. It was a little scary.

Well I thought having a smallish gallery would make things easy but nope it's pretty tedious ^^; Trying to find a silver lining I have managed to find a fair few things for pet treasures which helps to thin things out a bit...

I also apparently have a lot of unopened donation presents so I need to think about whether to sell them or take the risk and open them

I've decided to unhoard my gallery. For now I am keeping items worth 1m+ in my gallery and moving anything under that amount into my vault or shop. I am keeping some items under that amount because it's cute or a set of cuteness. 11k items to go through. OMG. ;)

Wow, that's a big gallery. I wonder if I'll make a gallery when all this is over. I kind of want a collection of candles...

Little by little, I will make it more manageable. ;)

But then my vault will be unmanageable, but I guess at least it's easier to move things from there to my shop.

No, mines is my Item ID, you can go alphabetical, I think. I wish galleries were more like TC, where you can move them about. Or like stickers. Oh wells. I have way to many things in my gallery.

I am moving my things to vault page by page and putting items in categories. I had almost enough if combined in one shop for the achievement.

Wow, I was only halfway to the achievement. That's a lot of stuff!
