Un-hoard? Never!

Am moving everything from vault to gallery just for the achievements and let them sit there. Afterwards, it's waiting for some kind of "select all" feature to quickly move them all back to vault. Eventually. One day. Finally, to complete the process, when the sun rises from the west I shall organize all those items - one by one.

That seems like a pretty good strategy! It'll take a while though, you've got a lot of stuff! Tbh I always tell myself that I'm going to go through my vault hoard but I never do.

I wish they'd leave the old shops semi-functional in the mean time though. Like, you can still adjust prices and sell off things, just not dump any more in? Shop size is only half the battle. Those of us non-gold users aren't going to sit here all day selecting quest items out of our hoards and pricing them to keep up with demand. Especially with Quentin's quests-- they ask for retired holiday items. Who's going to stock those first thing after the switch? It may become nigh-impossible to do their quests.

Right now I am in the process to put the entire wardrobe in my Basement Gallery. Meant for the whole hoarding achievement. I think I will manage to get to the 30k of items thanks to my wardrobe. But from there on.. -sighs- too little time to reach 45k. I always took the slow road. When I started, the site didn't even had 45k of items. LOL.

anyhow.. when the curtain has fallen, it all will be transferred to either my wardrobe or the vault. Oh.. and I will try wich plushie/beanbag/trading card can still be added to the collection. Will boost my achievement goal for those collection. Still not sure wich galleries I want to have.

Oh.. and ofcourse.. stickering :D My frequent sticker buddy will go crazy with my stick-it-to-me requests. heheh.. but I will sticker her almost the same amount back, since many stickers I bought are double. So I can reward the one who puts them in my album. :D

I know one thing.. I will be very VERY busy for a while on here.

So glad i decided years ago to not have a gallery anymore, i sold all of it except the dog items which i put under my pet MJs treasure, this change shouldnt affect me too much luckily, but i feel bad for all of you guys that have massive collections

Good thinking; I tend to keep my collections in my vault, since I don't care if anyone else sees them, so this isn't really an issue for me either other than clearing my shop.

Nope. They will stay there until 1) I need them for quests/achievements and hand-remove them, or 2) subeta creates a method for mass removal. I'm not going to waste my time going through 214 pages by hand.

I thought I had put my entire wardrobe in it. Saved some doubles so my avi wouldn't be naked.. Then I discovered that it didn't clean out the drawers. -facepalm- So now I still haven't have the wardrobe empty... but first.. I emptied all my other galleries in the Basement Gallery. Now putting the entire vault in there. I wonder how far I can come. At the moment the counter is at 30869/73264 .

I did get the 30K hoarder achievment. I wonder how far I can get.

I am in the same boat as Morticia, time to move the entire wardrobe to my hoard. I'm guessing I can get 20k achievement.

This summer when there were rumors/soft confirmations of item limits I started removing my extra items early. I think I had 60k or something, but it's mostly been dispersed. Now I just have 17.5k unique items. I've been slooooowly sorting them into categories to move to pet treasures, galleries, or simply keep hoarded. I don't have plans to get rid of everything, and like iciness said, I am not gonna sort through everything one by one. I mean, I /could/ do that, I have a hoard that size anyway because sorting through items on Subeta is a stress reliever and soothes my anxiety. For the past 10 years I've been able to buy and spend hours sorting items into a hoard if I was ever upset irl. But I'm not gonna /plan/ to do that. Unless they are going to literally delete all my items they'll probably just stay in that shop until I need them.

I have been offline for a few months and I am still mostly confused as to what they're planning on doing. I'm confused if galleries are still going to be a thing; my plan had been to disperse all my items into 4-5 themed galleries. But now it seems like even that might not be an option? I have no idea what I'm gonna do with all these items.

I did it. I cleared out all 133 pages from my gallery.That was almost 13k unique items. :o All in my vault and sorted as best as can be. At least in the sense that when I open my vault I'm not assaulted by an avalanche of junk.

I would have waited for the mass removal to show up but I'm not that trusting of that. I don't want to be the guinea pig on testing something like that and end up losing things.

Yep! Even if it is only a select all of a page (like what they already have at vaults), it would greatly ease the transfer. One by one? Not patient enough for that. I admire those who are _

Simply transferring items from vault to gallery is proving to be a super laggy chore. Arg... what? Still 30ish more pages to go, a couple minutes per page while freezing half my browser? Arg...

I have so much stuff I do not even know where to start.

I won't manage the 45k uniques achievement, sadly, but there's no way I'm moving over 33k items without a "move all" option or something other than one by one.

I guess I'll let my stuff sit in the defunct stores and hope they don't vanish while I sell it off bit by bit?

Maybe try to shove it all in the vault? I wish the vault was more user friendly.

I spent the past few days going through my gallery and taking out clothes I want to save. Today I decided to bite the bullet and autoprice the whole thing. The entire process took over an hour >_< I went and made dinner in the whole time it took to "send prices to server" and then there was anOTHER loading bar omg.

But it's done now and the money is rolling in! There's also four pages of stuff that I have to hand price because it's over the autoprice limit. $_$

Just hope I don't regret this later.

I started fragging everything worth less than 25k to clear out some of the mess, so that I could get that snowy owl wearable. You could try whittling away at it like that if you want.

Wow, I had no idea autopricer took so long to process! I'm running around now and trying to buy some of the more expensive/rare things on my wishlist just in case the few remaining ones are left in old stores and lost forever. >.< Maybe I'll go check your store out.

I'm kind of glad I only casually collect minions now... but that means I have a 10 page gallery instead of, like, a 50 page gallery. Easier, yeah, but it's still going to be a pain to move over, and I'm not sure if I'm going to keep all of them. Like, maybe this would be a good time to cut out the filler that I don't personally like the design of and isn't rare? But what if I want them later? Uuuugh.
