On the other hand, it's giving me a chance to go through my food horde item by item, and I'm finding some pricy things that I've already fed my pet, so I guess making some SP out of this whole ordeal is kinda nice.

I am very thankful that virtual hoarding doesn't come with any of the debilitating implications of real world hoarding. Many of us would be in trouble if that were the case.

Right, I forget that lots of people have multiple shops. I only ever saw the need to make one, for better or for worse.

I had 133 pages in my gallery. I'm down to 108 as of this posting. I'm finding things I kind of forgot I had along with a few things I know ended up in there on accident.

My sorting so far is more like, books, plushies, beanbags, food, stickers, minions, all the rest of the crap. I'll have to go through the rest of the crap better but I'm not going to until after the dust settles. I'll be selling things for sure. As I posted on the other thread I'm still wondering why I have so many 2011-2014 goody bags.

And, Oh gods! I totally forgot I still have all that crap from when I cleared out all those high priced items in the pawn shop when prices went wonky.

: Oh my goodness. You have quite the task ahead of you! I have another shop to go through when I finish this gallery. I tend to throw anything that's under 1k in there with the intention "Eh, I'll frag it one day." I'm glad that I went ahead and fragged the stuff from the last time I helped clear the pawn shop, or I'd be having an actual breakdown right about now.

I couldn't frag the stuff I bought that time because they were mostly retired Holiday Shop items. All I remember is they were the items that for some reason were selling in there for over 20k. Then there was a glitch were the prices went crazy and dropped them to dirt cheap. I made sure it was okay first then bought out every single item.

Worse about that is none of this was me going for the top hoarder achievement. That's from almost 9 years here mixed with some laziness and a tiny bit of failed TC ideas lol

I'm oddly finding this relaxing and maybe a bit fun. I'm not sure why.

: Nice! Well, that is good, I am glad you are finding it relaxing! I was dreading going through all of this, but it is kind of nice to have something to do while I'm sick! On the bright side, you'll probably make a fortune selling off whatever items you decide to!

I'm not doing anything with my shops and galleries until the new shops go live. Need to see if the limits get increased and if so by how much. It's too daunting an idea to go through 25k items or more to figure out where to put stuff or even think of how unmanageable my vault would become if most of it ended up there.

Do you figure that the new, small shops will cause inflation by bottlenecking supply for quests and such?

: I do. I mean, they tell us that they're starting "small" and will eventually raise the limit. But who knows when they'll raise it. Right now there's not even enough room to fit one day of vending plus quest items. It'll be good to get some of the crap items out of the economy, you know the ones under 500 sp, but I can see this turning into a nightmare very quickly with things that are already expensive quest items, such as books, weapons, and elixers

Yeah, I can see it turning into a real nightmare. I think it will settle down eventually, but while it's happening, I can see a lot of the userbase getting very unhappy. I mean, Look at all the blowback regular users are leaving on the threads, and right now the shops are only working for gold account users. Just wait till they lock the regular shops and everyone is forced to use the shops with smaller limits.

It was very easy to get a lot of goody bags back in the day. I had over 500 dying somewhere .. went through the process of deleting them ha ha.

Cleared a lot and still at 16k unique items. What will I do :c

i'm trying to unload my nearly 13k clothes from the wardrobe to get some hoarding achievements. then, to put everything back in the closet. then to feed most of the foods [if my pets didn't eat it before], and read the books... and then, the rest to slowly take care of it in a way or another.

I don't know though several people have suggested that in the comments and feedback thread and it makes sense. I can't imagine going from larger shops, some super large shops, down to tiny ones will be good at all.

However it's been said the low numbers are for the beta test only and will be raised when the shops go live, so I'm holding out hope that they end up large enough that the tedious moving I'll have to do will just be a matter of mostly moving and not having to shove most of what I have in my vault or leave stuff in the old shops until I want them. And maybe they will even figure out a way to move stuff more efficiently. *delusionalhopeliveson

Don't envy you moving your wardrobe. I did that awhile back when I was going for the hoarding and super shop achievements. Managed super shop but gave up at 20k on hoarder (made it to 22k) - just not enough patience and it seems with the changes coming it was just as well. Still have about 19k items in that gallery which will need organizing and moving.

i won't reach more than 23k hoarding myself. - for both unique and he other one. - meh. i just hope i can make it to 20k with these 502s >.>

Yeah... my gallery started last month and I had ~2k items in it. Plus I vend at least once a week and do all quests daily, and RS. I get a lot of stuff daily and dump it in my shop though and that had over 2k, maybe 3k items. I've sold most of the stuff though because I kinda wanted to start over with my gallery.
