I've been training my pet since I started playing Subeta again in September and I was wondering if there was a certain way I should be training. I knew there was a certain way on Neopets to maximize your effort by training everything up to max, training level and then training everything up to max again, except for speed which was essentially meaningless. (OK it's been a while since I played Neo so idk if that's 100% accurate.) Anyway, I was wondering if there is a certain way I should be training my Clawsion or if just keeping stats close to even is the best plan. I would appreciate any advice with training and battling for a complete newbie. I don't even think I have any weapons yet haha...

Is your battle pet Zeuser? You didn't say his name and I could only find the two pets on your page.

If it is, you need to stop training level for a long time until your other stats catch up. You should be training your other stats 2.5x higher than level because all level does is increase your training time.

yep Zeuser is my battle pet (and my only pet, actually!). Okay thanks for the info. I guess I should have asked at the beginning. :P I appreciate your help, Tobiko.

Sure! You can also Battle Quest but for right now the Training Center is the best way to train.

Here's a guide if you want to know which opponents you should be able to defeat at your tier Challenger Tier Guide~ :)

As for weapons, I believe I used these at Tier 2 and found they worked fairly well:

The Phoenix Quill is expensive, but you will use it for as long as you battle (essentially forever), making it very much worth the price tag.

For scrolls, I recommend investing in either (cheaper to make yourself) or .

Then adding or for some defense.

The people over at the Battle Coliseum Chat 2016 are also always willing to help if you have any questions :)
